I got mine this afternoon. Love it, but have it in rain mode currently as Im getting used to the throttle response, and figuring out the dampening and rebound and suspension settings lol.
After fifty years of riding long and hard on many bikes, it’s my opinion that the Tiger 900 is one of the best motorcycles yet to be produced. That said, I’d rather analog gauges or digital gauges that don’t remind me of a tablet. We already suffer enough screencreep. If Triumph has to go digital, aesthetically, I’d rather round gauges that give a nod to the past and allow some choice as to what’s usually displayed. Also, the choice of colors is a tad limited. Love the green, hate the red, but the model I want only comes in red, and that keeps my money in my wallet. Aside from those quibbles, what a great bike!
A great presentation well done. I gave up my Yam Tracer 900 gt for the 900gt pro and boy am i loving this bike! so I could question some things but the positives well enough said.
6:37 - the statement "Preload affects the firmness of the ride" is incorrect That is not its purpose, it is there to compensate for the differing load on the bike. e.g. a pillion and luggage, to keep the shock in a reasonable part of its stroke. You are not changing the softness or firmness of the ride with preload.
Where is the air filter and how hard is it to get to it as well as what has to be done to get to the spark plugs? I have had two Explorer 1200 and those were by far the hardest things to work on...not field friendly. Thanks
Great bike that runs fantastic. If I have to nit pick - and I do - I think its a shame that the distinct look of the Tiger with its head lights has been changed. Looks too much like an Africa Twin which I dont like so I'll have to stick with my 800 for a bit longer
I am from india big fan of tiger rally pro but i cant afford so i recent bought ktm 390 adventure becouse i want to be a moto vloger i will be buy one day trimph tiger
Well brother, i own a tiger 800 xcx in India.... It's bit cheaper in India as compared to other countries... I'm just waiting for this machine of 900 Triumph Tiger to launch in India and of course as you say about prices.... Waiting for that to upgrade
Goin the way of Harley. Meh bikes for big money. KTM offers more for less. I love triumph and what they are doing with their range but you are pricing riders out of your brand. My 1200 explorer went through hell and had a fair second hand price but fast forward a couple years and even in the second hand market you'd be looking elsewhere.
Got mine early yesterday morning! Fabulous bike

Excellent description of damping. One of the few people I've ever heard describe it properly.

WW but why not fully electronic suspension on front and rear on both top spec models? I’d like to know the wet weight as well?
Old Timer: As an option, I’d like that offered as well. But I’m not sure I’d opt for it.
Walter Wilkins wait till ur spine gets old and cranky, you’ll want the electric Suspension. Lol
I think I'll wait for the "light" model.
Can't afford the flagship...
Was looking at the 1200. May have to consider this 900.

I loved this bike!!!
Wish rally pro had electronic suspension on both front and back.
I've missed my 1050 Tiger, finally Triumph has a proper replacement.
Looking to get the Pro in 2021. Hoping news comes out soon about the updated 2021 Tiger 1200/1250 soon so I can compare it to the 900.
I like the 800 design
Very good review
There are some ads
Which we wants to watch.
I want one!

Comparimg to the T800xca how better is it??? Thanks
How tall are you, and are your feet flat on the ground when sitting on the Rally Pro??
because of narrow seat compared to prevoius tiger.
My buddy has one,I'm 6 foot,no issues with height

The air filter is now under the seat, other reviewers have said it’s a 10 minute job to replace it.
Great Bikes. I'm am interested in the lower GT model could you tell me how long is the wait to get 1.

Quando vem para o Brasil?
Me parece que chega ate final do ano no Brasil! Acho que a versao mais cara vai custar perto de uns 60 mil!

Hi
Good explanation.
I am from India (BHARAT).
What is the price of both the Model.
Waiting for your reply.
What is the minimum height required to ride this bike. My 169 cm or 5.64 ft
That´s my worry too, i'm 168cm, but i decided for the gt pro, mine arrives in setpember
I am 163 cm. I got the Low model. No problem to reach ground
@@Charleslima33 i read ur reply now... i am sure u might be enjoying that beast by now.
@@andrewrogers2313 great...
Th'arse aches after an hour on the road. Put the Gen 3 Tiger 800 seat and screen on the 900 and you have a good touring bike.
And all of that, at astronomically high prices! Oh... Tell editor to cut that part....

Only thing with they didn't add is airbags 😂
Can I use your video for my youtube channel
Alow me
Disengage cruise by using clutch doesn't work, be prepared for engine scream!!
Wet weight of each model, why so secretive Triumph?
I think somewhere in the registration docs or homologation paperwork they have to state the kerb weight which is the 'wet' weight.
i think this bike not proper for someone under 5'10 tall🤔
Rally is not meant for short but there is a GT LOW version for shorter riders like myself
To much talk. The motocycle sound ist best.
This bike is great, but the RPM meter is sucks... CHANGE THE DASHBOARD.please.
