  • Short background on the creator of many of today's popular Lenormand cards. Marie Anne Le Normand. A fascinating woman who was successful in her craft and became a famous sought after fortune teller during the Napoleonic era.

I just ordered this deck for myself because now I am extremely interested in working with these along with the other deck that I have for Cartomancy. And it was so interesting to hear what you said about the creator with the breakdown of her birthday like that. I can’t wait for part two of our discussion in learning more about your story. I think before I’m done I’m gonna have to have a filing cabinet for all the charts that I have on. All of my loved ones lol. Thank you for sharing this Carol. I get so excited whenever I see that you have put up a video, lol. I love you dear lady. ❤

You’re one in a million Carla. I’m so thankful to have you as a friend and be a recipient of your creativity and talents. Glad you found the deck interesting. I was shared with Rhiannon about how my mother would say the images gave her intuitive perspective for the person she was reading for. Looking so forward to our second interview too. Thank you for your time and watching. Love you always.💞😘

Thank you for this. I look forward to hearing more of your story on Carla's channel. I am motivated to start working with this deck more often. 🧡

As I was reviewing how often some of the cards will mention if "other specific " cards are nearby, there is greater depth for sure. I believe that these cards and their double side meanings also add to interpretation. Also, both my aunt and Mother told me that they received intuitive messages and information via the cards images and how they made a story through each row of six cards. Thanks for watching and sharing Rhiannon. I appreciate your interest and time.

What a cute little deck..a real deck of its time talking about the simple things of life, life death marriage and the hope of good fortune... How lovely your Dad bought that for you, I can hear how much you love it..🥰
My friend bought me a fairy-tale lenormand deck for Christmas and I plan a deck study next month with it.. seems like learning a new language, quite daunting. I've always loved card games of anykind but im pretty sure we never had this card game in the UK when i was growing up.. Thanks for sharing Carol, you have so much knowledge to share..

My pleasure and thank you Julie. You’re correct when you say, “ learning another language.” The verbiage is that of its era, and as you’ve mentioned, the main things that they were concerned about. Looking forward to you sharing your Lenormand deck! Thank you for sharing and watching this video Julie. Sending goodness your way.🙏💙☮️

Loved both the personal history and the Lenormand history and exploration and reading lesson. Thanks so much for sharing this with us, Carol. I don't have this deck, though I've considered it before. Now if I ever do, I've got your video to refer to!

Could it be?! I had this deck when I was 12! My first deck in the '70s. I'm 64. I remember the purple background. Wow!! However the next love for many at the time became astrology beginners level.

Hi Dee, I don’t recall you using this deck on your channel!? Great to hear from you and know you loved the richness of the color/design too. There is depth in reading the cards and my Grandmother had these around 1949. That you Dee for stopping in and sharing. Hope you and yours are doing well.🥰💞

I have 2 lenormand decks, but not this one. I have always found this one to be very intriguing. You said I am going to look at her date of birth. I would too. The astrology and numerology. 🤣🤣🤣 The distance from the significator card, good reminder! Thank you. I have Rana George Lenormand, which has 2 man cards and 2 woman cards, plus a spirit card, which is interesting.😊❤

Hi Farah, that sure is interesting about your Rama George cards. Yes, her birth numbers, which I’m including her Life Path # 13/4 in my evaluation sums it up, giving form to her creativity. Do you read Lenormand cards for yourself or others? Thank you for sharing and watching Farah, always nice to exchange with you.🙏💙

I really like this deck. I recently purchased these cards. I just made up my own meanings and system using them. It works for me.
They use to make a larger deck of these cards, but hard to find.

Hi, I’m so glad you shared with me how you use this deck. It is like using a regular deck of 52 cards with Jokers. Yes, my grandmother’s deck was larger too. Appreciate your input, best wishes and thank you for watching.🙏💚

  • @charlinecharliskovgaard3147

Hi, im interested in how or from where your found her name to be Le Normand. Even at her gravestone in Paris her name is Marie-Anne Adelaide Lenormand. I have been studied her for some time now, but haven't seen anywhere her name spelled like you do. Please enlighten me ;-)

    • @PracticalMysticCarol
      @PracticalMysticCarol  Рік тому

Hi charline, thank you for stopping in. To answer your question, I googled “The Gypsy witch Lenormand deck.” There was information on how she was known by another name when her popularity gained and she created other decks, one having a connection to Tarot. The LWB, that comes with the cards, gives an introduction of, Mille. Le Normand, the celebrated French Mystic. Yes, the history is confusing and I do agree she was Marie-Anne Adelaide at birth. Thank you 🙏

    • @PracticalMysticCarol

I do not personally used these cards. My grandmother was a profession card reader, and this was her favorite deck. She had hundreds of clients. My mother used these cards for family and friends, she as well found them very accurate. Hope this help you. Thank you for stopping in and watching and your important question.
