Great video! Is the material for the exterior housing construction of the grinder metal or plastic? I've seen conflicting answers to this question on different videos.
The main housing of the grinder (the matte black material) is metal. Though some of the additional parts (hopper, buttons, screen, base plate etc.) are made of a hard plastic. Hope that helps
Fellow ode and DF64 are both roughly £250-£350 in the UK. How does this grinder compare to ones in its price bracket? Eureka mignon Libra, for instance.
We are yet to test the Ode and DF64, but the X54 is definitely going after a slightly different market segment being on-demand focused rather than single dosing. The coffee has been very enjoyable
What a great video! Thanks for the information. I’ve been doing some research on this grinder for my home setup.
Thanks for the feedback! Feel free to come back here if you have any questions.
