Not sure if the TLoc systainer counts as an accessory but that would be my number one. Just the best tool boxes for me

Love your down to earth delivery. A very Happy New Year to you from Bonny Scotland!
The only accessory I have from Festool is the extra systainer with the domino selection. The guide rail add-on to prevent the hose snagging, I recently got for free when I purchased the G2 rail guides from Evolution. Two 1400 mm rails, an excellent set of cam operated joining strips, two clamps, and a bag for the rails. All, for under £100. That's a much better deal than thirty quid for a piece of plastic.
Don't get me wrong. Festool make some wonderful, well-thought-out tools, and many of them are well worth the premium asking price, but where we are dealing with corded tools, it makes much more sense to choose the tool that does the job you want, at a price you are willing to pay, regardless of manufacturer.
I recently looked at the medium router from Festool, but was shocked at the eye-watering price tag. I've used clunky old Elu's, Dewalts, Makitas, and even an Erbauer to fit worktops, or create profiles, and they were all just fine. Even the ones onsite that were on hire, often a bit tatty and unloved, as long as they were fitted with a decent sharp bit, did a fine job.
I might consider the Festool 1400 for use in my garage, but I'd never dream of taking one onto a building site: it would be gone in a flash!

Thank you hope you have a happy new year too from wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 👍😄
Yes the routers do come with a price tag. Sadly as you mentioned working on site I don’t blame wanting to take Festool there just to get stolen.
My first router was Rioby my second Makita then I got my Festool one.
I will say the improvement on just the dust extraction is great you will notice the difference when you go clean up.
I do use the feuad bits when I do worktops I find they do a lot of cutting. I don’t use the trade trend ones as you struggle to last it for one joint.
A good jig also as I’ve had a few to find which one I prefer.
      Thank you 👍👍👍😄

I do love my MFT kit! My 1010 came with both the 8 mm and 1/4 in shanks. Perhaps it's different here in the US?

Hey Brad nice to see you again. I’m the uk with OF1400 you get 1/4 collet and 1/2 inch with the router. Obviously I’m thinking the 8mm and 1/4 inch must come with the 1010.
It could very well be different in the US compared to uk. 👍😄

Mark, I love the kitchen nstaller set in a systainer. All my kit for drilling and screwing in one place. I know this sounds funny, but the most used bit of this kit is the countersink bits. For years I used cheap ones that ragged the hole and were rubbish but as Mark would say this was a 'game changer' and makes my work piece look neat ( just a shame about the rest of the thing I made, which looks like I made it in the dark) 😂

Hey Troyboy ,Happy new year too 👍😄oh that’s nice coming in your set can’t complain about that.
I will say the router bit set is quality.
You will love the MFT when you pick one up. Loads have them in their top 3 Festool purchases.
Yes glad you come from one of my live feeds onto my channel awesome 👍😄
Yes the micro systainers are the best for all our little Festool bits 👍👍😄

RPR I know what you own it’s the centotec set. I’ve always wanted one of those sets. The countersinks look amazing.
I know they are a game changer 😂
It’s better to have a fancy hole cut with a quality countersink.
It’s definitely something I need to pick up in the future.
Sadly I want have it in t-loc sys but is something I will have to get over 😂👍😄

My MFT table is absolutely battered compared to yours. It’s had a hard life and it’s earned it’s money 10 times over. Are the clamps in the middle section of the accessory set good? I’m interested in a set of those but haven’t got round to buying them yet.
    Happy New Year.
I know you don’t get on with your Carvex but I absolutely love mine. The Carvex accessory kit is great, especially the circle cutter. It takes practice to use it and you do need to use the gold Carvex blades as they are slightly thicker then a standard blade but once it’s set up it’s so accurate and the jigsaw cuts so nice and square.

Hi the great thing about the MFT is when you change the top it’s brand new again.
I do try and use MFT protectors but they can be a pain sometimes to use.
The clamps in the middle of that set are great. They hold really well 👍
A few have commented on the carvex set for the jigsaw so I think it’s something I need to look into.
How big of a circle can you cut with the jig ??

@ the radius cutter extends to 150mm so the diameter is a 3 meter circle. I wish I had room to try that size out. 😂👍🏻 I’ll treat myself to this hold down clamps this year.
