You think the coal scene is comedy but that kinda happen in my country a sugar processing plant exploded with tons of unprocessed sugar and flowed into a river and a congresswoman was on National TV eating it like it was candy and she even said she liked it.

But there is a reason it is called global warming: Temperatures are getting higher on global scale. Locally you can find places that are getting colder, or not warming. But overall trend is that climate is warming.

He simply clarified the interchangeability of the terms climate change and global warming. Aside from that, while the plastic may be made from fossil fuels, it's not actively putting out pollution simply because we're typing on it. So on all levels, I don't really understand the relevance of your comment.

I'm afraid to scroll down into the comment section and see all the people who failed their science classes whining about Greta. But make no mistake, that fear is centered around our awful school system, and the horrifying effect it's having on our voters, and by extension our planet. I'm afraid of how many of them there could be down there in the comment section, and how depressing it would be to find out they exist, figuratively polluting Conan's fanbase. XD
Conan is an equal opportunity fanbase attracter. Also, climatology is a relatively small component of public education's science curriculum; So it is doubtful that people would fail their science classes at large because of any fixation over an environmental activist. Try to not dehumanize those that have opinions that do not align with your own, I'm sure you can find some common ground with them and you can hear them out on why they have such opinions and vice-versa. You'll likely both find out more about yourselves and possibly make concessions on your respective opinions where flaws may have been realized and a new mutual respect for one another's opinions. We can be friends with such people and it is healthy to surround ourselves with diversity of thought. Aristotle knew enough to claim that he knew nothing, perhaps we could all benefit from that sentiment.
I agree the school system could improve its quality of education. Below are a few of my ideas on how the current education system could be reformed to improve the quality and level of education; Enacting them would require extra funding for training, text revisions and additional paid hours required of educators.
Most education systems do indeed need some level of overhaul, to not only exclusively provide facts, but to cite sources from which those facts were derived. Furthermore, nuance and objectivity, forcing students to see issues from both sides of the spectrum to derive the most educated information. Year long school, with no 'summer break' (as a result, more pay for teachers as they will become full-time employees). Such overhaul ideas would extend to public higher education facilities and ideally would to private ones as well.

I mean, you're right about most of that stuff, but I still think we should listen to scientists that are much smarter than us, rather than clinging to our pollution-mobiles and coal factories. And really, I only surround myself with people that hate bigotry and want to protect the environment. It's not okay to look down on others, but if people are too stubborn to listen to freaking scientists, then they're beyond help, and I would rather not associate with them.

Right so Conan couldnt resist making fun of Greta, because she is so ridiculous. Unfortunately however, Conan is a moral and intellectual coward, such that making fun of her honestly and openly seemed unthinkable. It would be like taking a political stance - it might seem non-pc - it had to be avoided. Nonetheless, for a comedian, the urge to laugh at Greta 'how dare you' Thunberg is overwhelming. Therefore, his writers had to exert all their energy to concoct a framing device which would enable him to make fun of Greta, while permitting him to remain right-on PC, able plausibly to deny that he'd ever made fun of her at all, and to go through the whole operation without having to pause from smug and sanctimonious centre-leftist virtue signalling for so much as a moment!
