The most common use-case would be to one-way sync a full folder, wouldn't it? So anything I'd add to that folder should get synced with the NAS. Dragging and dropping is nice but I have to remember to do it. Is there a way to schedule to push a full local PC folder into the NAS?
QNAP NAS systems have a feature called Qsync. With Qsync anything saved to the Qsync folder will either sync automatically or by schedule. Hope this helps Nils.
@@hlopez411 It's still not a solution to the one-way Sync issue unfortunately, because Qsync is two-way sync... so when I delete a file anywhere (on the NAS or on my PC) it will also delete on the second device. There is no way I could find to solve that.
9 dislikes for a Video which explains what you need without all those "Clickbaits Video name" ... time wasting "Intros" etc etc .. with the haters could write 1-2 sentences what they did not like ...
Here you go... He spent 1st minute showing how to map a drive to the ADMIN PC with QNAP already installed, one of the 1st and easiest things you do with the NAS. Most people don't need this; they're likely looking up how to map drives for other users. Spends the remainder of the video just demonstrating how File Explorer works. Finally for that extra annoyance, there's the lip smacking.
Can you map in a directory higher than "Public"?
