Love the video how did you thin the tamiya. I have heard four parts thinner to paint. Also what was your airpressure/nossle? Thanks ❤
Hi! Thamks for the kind words! I use there x-20a thinner. And yea dilution depends really on your paint. But i find between 3 parts thinner to 1 paint works good. Maybe 4 parts thinner. It will go on more opaque the less thinner you use but i like to build up. But yes pressure is around 25/30 psi. Just play and find out what works best for u and the airbrush u have. As most are differnt.

What do you thin your tammy paints with. I used to use 90% alcohol when i put model cars together
There thinner think its x12 or 24.
X20A thinner is specifically formulated for Tamiya acrylics, I wouldn't use anything else.
@@gaznixon5161 i use that stuff a glue. Works just as good. I can see how it would make any pait a primer

Not when using acylics.
Yes. Acrylics or not you’re still aerosolizing paint. Wouldn’t want to breathe any of that in.

In all seriousness though your videos are a breath of fresh air. I appreciate that more people are doing the grimdark design but the basic sponging up to highlight color is so overdone now.
