The way u teach the lessons are perfect. I have been enjoying them along doing other tasks or household chores. Thankx a lot, Sir. I like all the lessons as they're short and curious.
Thanks for posting. I haven't looked at grammar in years and so thought a brush up would be useful. I get the idea of phrases and clauses. But, something just did not click. What is it for? How does it work? Other videos state the phrase does not have a subject nor a verb. Ok, so? I really like the way you teach it. Show the phrase in a sentence. Then it becomes clear precisely how it fits in.
Dear Sir, I have read that the word " not" is an adverb and therefore some grammar people do not consider it in a Verb Phrase so what is the best answer for that. Also i want to ask that a single main verb in the Past Simple and Present Simple can be consider as a verb phrase ? i dont think single verb can be called a verb phrase because phrase means more than one word, as in the old grammar book there is not single example i found that they call one word verb as a phrase. Any way i am curious to listen your answer because you have the wide experience and the best simple explanation. Also i wish that your family stay out of the danger of Corona Virus.
"On doing something ...". "On doing something ..." If I'm to write an English paragraph I don't know which prepositional phrase to use. Should it be "in doing something" or "on doing something"? Are they interchangeable in English? If not, Is there any change in meaning? Is "on doing something" obsolete? Is it more common to use "in doing something"? I simply "doncha" know!
Teacher you're great teaching English. Thanks a lot.
