Yes ! Good work. It’s been almost a year since the rebuild?! I’ve followed along and you’re series helped me rebuild my m113 . Can’t thankyou enough. Hard work pays off!
This is awesome! I too had to crank the engine quite a bit on the stand to get oil pressure. I didn't dare fire it until I did but it took a few minutes. Looking forward to more progress
I'm building a Mercedes with the same mechanics in Brazil, but I don't have the gearbox controller. Which controller did you use to control the 722.6 gearbox?
Onvoorstelbaar dat je dat allemaal zelf doet Johan, eerst die geweldige 190 V12, nu dit. Als 280SEL 3.5-eigenaar gaat mn hart wel sneller kloppen van die projecten. Geweldig leuk om te zien.
HEY. pls answer me. if i want make my M113.940 to turbo one. is it big job? is it enough, i found turbo set, cooling, and low boost. 0.8-1.3 bar. un opened engine, and transmission. Do you think it will be fine with it?
0.8 is low. 1.3 not so low. I think you will.be okey. At 0.8. i will have a turbo kit for sale turbo if your interested set me a mail at the website. jmspeedshop.com
If you have issues with the lamda dying you can make a small table with an activation delay based on engine run time and coolant temp. A few second on hot to 10s cold I think. Saved me from a lot of broken widebands.
When now doing these settings . I run the lambda on . On ecu startup. When i got the base idle settings a table around this correct i will put it back on engine startup. Also running a 4.2 these are more reliable then then 4.9
@@JMSpeedshop ok I would be careful even 4.2 is easily killed at engine startup because of water vapours. My wideband was about 60cm from turbo and I broke two before this setting was applied.

Dank je wel 👍
With the Maxxecu you should be using a ZF 8HP behind that thing. They have all canbus control for it now.
Yes but not a straight fit for Mercedes. 722.6 is a straight fit. Also can send canbus signal for shift cut
Thanks for sharing your experience, especially the bad one. That helps a lot!
Very cool, nearly there... and only one leak on the welds? Good effort getting it this far!
Yes small leak on a weld. Already fixed it 😉

Oke. I will discuss this with the tuner. Thanks 👍
gefeliciteerd
Dank je wel 👍
Awesome! You do impressive work man congrats on the complete build. Best of luck here on ✌️
Thanks 👍
I am thinking of getting a r129 with the m104 and putting a turbo on it.
Nice 😎
Be careful with all the idling that don't bore wash.
How much boost are you going to run?
I second this. I avoid any extended idling on these engines and at least maintain 1k or over for any test and tuning.
When oil pressure is correct and idling around lambda 1 there is no problem
No street driving done but on regular full no more then 0.8 and on e85 1.3/1.4 max i think
@@JMSpeedshop cool that you have control 👍
So it original compression ? 10.5:1?
CR is 1:10 on these .
gave swap en een hele stabiele basis en motor👍
Dank je wel 👍
Great job mate!!
Thanks 👍
Wonderful!
Thanks👍
Lekker bezig man !
Dank je wel
