    The Lodge Card Club is a members-only social club in Round Rock, Texas (just north of Austin). With 24/7 cash games and 2+ tournaments per day, The Lodge is THE place to play poker in central Texas. The Lodge Live is streamed every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 3PM CT.
    You never know what you might see on The Lodge Live stream. You might see Pocket Aces vs Pocket Kings. You may see the nut straight lose to a full house after the board pairs on the river. There's a good chance you will see loads of straddles (and double straddles, and triple straddles). Players go all-in blind or play poker hands after looking at just one card. That's just what poker is like in Texas!
    The stream regularly features Lodge owners Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, and Doug Polk. Players like Rampage, Mariano, and Igor Kurganov has also graced The Lodge Live felt. And who knows? One day The Lodge may even host players like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, or similarly huge poker names.

      Well I do think she should’ve at least made a half pot plus raise. You know, somewhere maybe around $62,000. - $66,000 raise. I was very surprised that she let that go like that and she is one of my favorite players, her and Maria Ho. I was a little disappointed that she didn’t make some kind of move.

      I think an all-in here wouldve been perfect after she played it 100% solid. Put him in the blender thinking you're bluffing while he rivered a straight.
      He might have folded but it dont matter since she only had 2 choices. He also would get 2 to 1 with a strong hand.
      Xuan played it so well, though. Aside from not going all-in she played that almost the best way possible.

    well all the chat warriors here saying shes playing scared money on an overbet on river but 9 10 straight on the river is an overbet fold to raise since xuan is never bluffing. her shoving river is longterm is actually probably slight losing due to correct river play.

  • @MsStassie
    @MsStassie Рік тому

    much better play than the other day, when you have pretty much the nuts playing holdem cash - always a good move to just check back. Yes its bad for your river bluff range but still, I would rather be a polite player than be trying to squeeze someone when you know you have him beat, if he tries to get me off the hand thats up to him. Tourney obviously is different, squeeze every drop.

    • @danielcabrera65
      @danielcabrera65 Рік тому

      The check is good for catching your opponent's mistake, not for being polite. Why be polite?? He just raised it on her after she checked it? Was that polite when he thought he had the nuts? Man, your logic is bad for poker. I hope to play with you one day and raise all in and take your money, your house, and your family 😂 be polite hahahaha

    • @MsStassie
      @MsStassie Рік тому

      @@danielcabrera65 I said in the comment that its bad strategy I just would rather be polite when I have a cooler, if they want to squeeze me obviously i will remember that next time for that player.
      Keep in mind that in many games of poker (especially hilo stud games) it becomes obvoius who is winning the high and who the low, so there is basically no reason to bet once it reaches that point.
