Yeah, I was cynical, but when I was watching that bit where ASGARD 1 appeared on the screen, the pistol shots and reloads happened; and I hit pause and searched for the game on steam. Nah Baby Driver, while being a great movie is hardly the first piece of media to match action pacing to music. _(Jedi: Fallen Order looks great and I haven't even played that yet, for perspective)_
First off, this looks amazing!!! Second, they used the Severog character model from Paragon!!! 😍
I'm excited to see speedruns of this.
the soundtrack is so melodic, I love it.
Glad you like what you’ve heard so far! 🙏🤘
Just watching this “feels good”... it really makes me FEEL LIKE doom guy samurai.
DJ Doom guy SAMURAI
This concept is genius. Just watching it is a bop, I can't imagine what playing it feels like!
10:29 that's Sevarog from Paragon. Oh i miss Paragon.
I scrolled the comments for someone else who noticed this, haha
Yup, I noticed several old Paragon assets including Sev, Morigesh, Riktor, Iggy, Rampage, and Grux
They used several assets from Paragon including one of the buffs as a monster
Legit would play this game if they didn’t use Paragon assets. Seeing them not in Paragon hurts a bit.
@@andrewi4231 the player characters are Greystone and Valkyrie
I wish-listed this game right after you mentioned it in your last review :D Thanks for dropping it on my radar
i don't care about the damage of the , does it bang, is it fire, does it sound good? This is genius, imagine montages with the sound remixed in to songs, it would be an amazing feat that would take talent and would be entertaining. also it must be super satisfying , killing things is already satisfying but add music and its amazing . I already do that when im in the zone and listening to spotify while mindlessly grinding .
man iv actually watched this vid multiple times just to hear more of the music and gun beats in synch . Hyped for this game. thanks for covering it !
Speedruns of this game are gonna sound so dope
Gonna play this for sure. Looks awesome!
My neighbours will learn to love the music in this game.
So this game looked cool, original, you know I still wasn't entirely sold... then you showed Asgard II for the first time and the music kicked in. HOLY SHIT! YEEEAH! I'll buy this once it comes out. I have a feeling this will become the new indie trend and it will revive rhythm genre.
So, this is basically The Binding of Isaac + Doom: The Musical.
Doom: the musical. I would watch that
@@quinncamargo imagine Doom Guy and The Icon of Sin having a dance off. I’d definitely pay to see that.
I wouldn't say it resembles TBoI
@@solanumtuberosa Really cause I saw the map and realised that it was a rougelike before it was mentioned. Throw in the key,, coin, chest setup and if the abilities charge by per room clear then I would argue that it might be a bigger influence than Doom
@@booga-wx7cd true it's a roguelike and TBoI is one of the most famous ones, but that's where the resemblence ends. It's more akin to Necrodancer.
I honestly don't mind the color.
Maybe it's different when playing it but just watching it, I think it helps it standing out

You should ask the developers to put in a "Gun Sync"/recording studio mode where you can switch between all the weapons in the game to use as various instruments and create your own tracks
Shayz that would be sick
Damn, this is a badass idea.
Feels like everyone's now talking about this. I haven't played it yet but the music is already stuck in my head.
This does look pretty bad ass. I could only imagine if they have multi player, it would sound so sweet
God, it must be so gratifying as a developer to see reactions like this. You work your ass off on a project you have no idea whether it will even work or if anyone will even see it, let alone like it, only to have people rant and rave about how amazing it is.
This game is going to be a big hit, I'm sure of it.
I’m mostly excited for the TRACKLIST
