I absolutely love what you’re doing for the less fortunate. There would be no one ever going to bed hungry if everyone gave their goods away instead of dumping them in the trash. God bless you!
I am not brave enough to go dumpster diving by myself and my family would turn their nose up at what I would bring home so I will just live vicariously through you guys.
I started going into dumpsters to get fruit and veggies for my chickens. It's amazing what types of food I have gotten out of dumpsters that are not even on their best buy dates. I have retrieved about 100lbs of whole salmon filets, about 200 lbs of pork loins, pork ribs, pork chops. About 200 lbs of beef and boneless chicken breast. Absolutely nothing wrong with the meat. The organic veggies I pull out the seeds to grow for next year. We freeze dry most of the veggies and fruit. The meat I pressure can for future meals. The bones, I use for bone broth and then freeze dry it for instant powdered bone broth. We rarely take the chips and any processed stuff. Not interested in the chemicals and dyes. We don't take the soda either. Too much is thrown away, what a waste. It can feed a lot of people. When I find a dumpster that has so much food in it that I can't possibly use, I call a few friends to let them know to come and get it before it goes to the landfills. When there is a lot of good bread, I add spices on it and dry it in the oven or dehydrator to make bread crumbs. The boxes of organic bananas are peeled and either freeze dried as banana chips, or they get mushed and freeze dried to make banana powder for smoothies or banana bread or add to plain Greek yogurt.
I just love how united your family is. I love that you guys donate so much to people thatneeded it. I especially love the way Stacey is with her dogs. ❤❤❤❤ I really enjoy your videos and I like that you guys don’t listen to the negative things. Some people have to say. I think you have a great example of doing more than you can even when you have a little to give. God bless y’all and your family.
It’s a great question. Corporate greed, loose regulations, and misconceptions around expiration dates are huge contributors. Keep up the amazing work you guys!
You must have never worked. When that bell rings marking the end of the shift people leave like the place is on fire! No one is going to hang around to work for free to feed the poor! They're kicking the poor not helping them along with this war on men.
My chickens love when we find fruit and vegetables in the dumpsters that are still good. I always have fresh fruit and vegetables to give them as a treat everyday because of the dumpsters. The happy hen noises are worth it! God Bless 🥰
I started watching ya guys a month ago and didnt believe what I was seeing so a couple weeks ago i started going out and have a been able to bring home $400 in food thanks to DD'ing. One night I found a dumpster completely filled with just ice cream, its just crazy
I'm sure you'll think of this... but all those fruits and veggies are great for chickens.... even if you have to cut parts off.... so happy to see another video.... I know you'll need a life too but we miss youll....😊

What an amazing score, you both did so well, especially with all the crisps and Stacey what about those great dog treats some of them looked designer treats. And right at the beginning with that full box of froze chicken, bet you wish they could all be like this. So keep up the good work, it's so nice to see you both when you do a dive. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾🌞
good scores for sure. The pork rinds are great if you crush them for toppings on casseroles like mac and cheese . crush some up and store them so you can have a tasty topping.
So glad to see y’all out and diving. Missed watching you. I can’t believe the haul. My goodness what a score. The chicken was a great find. Thanks for taking us along. 🥰

Your right about the food waste but I live in an apartment and the food other people through away makes me sick. I have to eat butter noodles and I go to work and can't afford to eat right where do people get the money and then just through it in the trash. There is something wrong. Great job guys for the great videos I love to watch you all save things and share it with your neighbors. Your two of the most awesome people on UA-cam. Keep up the amazing work
Don't waste anything. Never drain canned goods down the sink. Save the liquid off canned vegs in a large freezer container and there's your "free" veg broth for soup. Drain a can into those noodles or rice for extra flavor and nutrition or use it for most of the milk in gravy. The canned fruit liquids can be poured into iced tea (home brewed) or drunk as is. Also, made into popsicles. Heat it to thicken and that's "free" ice cream topping or top some homemade pie dough. Cook down fresh fruit peels and cores (apples, pears) for more desserts. Boil meat bones and that's more "free" soup stock. Boiling the bones will also yield more meat to pick off the bones. Save meat fats for cooking Cook from scratch. Save every little spoonful of leftovers and at the end of the week for a casserole or soup. Use leftovers to top homemade pizza, fill a homemade tortilla wrap or Asian wrap/dumpling. The peels of fresh vegs can be frozen to wrap and use for more veg broth. Purchase a small container of plain yogurt with live cultures and divide it into ice cube trays. Make a quart of homemade yogurt using one cube as your starter. Chain your batches 3-4 times using the last bit of the previous batch as the current starter. That purchased yogurt will get you dozens of quarts. Use fresh or powdered milk. There are different ways to incubate it from what you already likely have at home but the easiest is to heat your oven for 60 seconds on the lowest temperature and turn it off. Put the quart jar in for 8 hours but do the heat thing 2-3 times during the incubation time. If it seems too liquid, then incubate a couple more hours or drink it like a yogurt drink. It can be later flavored as you with with fruit or powdered drink mix, etc. Plain yogurt can be subbed for sour cream or whipping cream when cooking. Or drain it overnight in a colander lined with a paper towel over a large bowl and you've just made a type of cream cheese that can be baked into a cheesecake. Dried beans are much cheaper than canned. Plain dried pasta is much cheaper than pasta kits. Homemade pie dough, cookies and flour tortillas are much cheaper than ready made. IOW, don't buy anything that can be easily made at home. Save on fast food by making it at home. There are countless copycat recipes online. For the price of 1 Schlotzsky's original medium sandwich, you can make 6 at home - $9 for 6 at home or $54 at the window! Chinese and Mexican takeout at home costs pennies. Pizza with leftovers is super cheap. Slice and fry/bake a potato for 25 cents or a bag of chips for $4. Eat the inside of a baked potato and save the skin and some of the insides and top with leftovers for loaded potato skins for dinner the next day. Try having a window sill "kitchen garbage" garden. Plant some seeds or rooted sprigs of herbs for the window sill since herbs will perk up your buttered noodles.
I'm so glad to see that you and your husband are dumping. That's an honorable job. There is nothing wrong with scrapping. Hoping that I can taste the chocolates and candies that you have made. gObles

The A&W root beer are non carbonated water enhancer packs. They are quite good. It's hard for me to drink regular water. They also have orange and grape crush flavors. Had me salivating when you found the pork rinds. Happy diving!!😊
Best by is not Eat By. Even if it's gone stale, it can be used as compost or critter food. I can see crows or raccoons digging into those pork rinds. Raccoons would make short work of the dog treats too, provided the dogs left any behind. (not gonna happen, but...) Toastmaster was an appliance brand that started out making toasters and branched out.
Good night Adam and Stacey I think you do a great job saving food and donations to other people that need help you make me happy and smile please keep up the great work you do and I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year for 2024

Asi podemos entender ya que no sé inglés 😢. Me encata tu manera de ser bella mujer❤y tu familia tan agradecida con los alimentos. Los adoro❤
I dont like that rattlesnake sound on your videos. Do you give some to charity? Please try and keep your kids safe from being overweight with all those snacks. They will struggle for a lifetime.

Pork skins are really good crushed and used for chicken breading. Yum.. and the spicy ones are even better
Way to score!😮😊
Hey nice to see you both back, hope you are well 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for like in my text
I asked the Manager of Walmart the same question, she stated that if they give food that is expired they can get sued, D.T. said same thing
Great job ! What a huge haul...👍🌞
I thought the short anwser was, "Fuq them!" and DT was short for ditto the former's comment.
You can’t resell food that’s returned. When I worked at Walmart we had to immediately get rid of it.
Good To See you Guys 🙏🙏🙏

You guys are a HOOT !! ❤ U
Big score on the meat but even though it's still frozen you need to get it back in the freezer before it thaws you can't refreeze it. Be safe all.
No they can't re freeze raw meat, but they can cook it and then freeze it. I learned this from my brother in law who had been a butcher for many years.
Yes you can as long as it is thawed properly you can refreeze I've been doing it for 40+ years

Raccoons would make short work of the dog treats too, provided the dogs left any behind. (not gonna happen, but...) Toastmaster was an appliance brand that started out making toasters and branched out.

Hola!! Querida familia, yo jamas comento.
I hope they activate it for you 🙋💓
Another diver finds non expired med. In CVS dumpsters, and makeup. No reason for that! Good to see our reclusive homesteaders!
I love that you do find some veggies and some fruits and dogfood. Some chops and sweet. but not too much.
I dont like that rattlesnake sound on your videos. Do you give some to charity? Please try and keep your kids safe from being overweight with all those snacks. They will struggle for a lifetime.
