There’s nothing wrong with keeping stuff and giving to a blessing box. Especially if it’s snacks, how many times I’ve heard people that snacks are expensive (this is while I’m filling up ours). I love giving back to the community, it makes my heart happy!!! ❤❤❤
I asked our dollar general manager the other day if they ever had any divers there and her comment was they use to but she breaks up all the stuff now and pours bleach over it. She said it was her dumpster and she was allowed to do what she wanted with it as long as it didn't leak the bleach out. She was pretty happy with herself. I just can't believe people like her are out there who would rather destroy it all and not let people take it. You guys are doing a good thing and helping others too.
I wish the manager understood that while it may be DG's dumpster, the resources used to make that food and those home goods belong to the world, too. I have no problem with stores making profits, but it is ridiculous to over-produce and over-order inventory and then just throw it away unopened.
This makes me want to go diving myself, but im scared to by myself. Is it better to go with someone or alone? You all make it look so easy going. Congratulations on the haul!!
Personally I would prefer to go with someone then alone, even if that person only sits in the vehicle to watch my back because you never know who/what you will encounter. But there are many people who solo dive both off and on youtube.

The artificial greenery can be spray painted gold, silver or any colour you like then it could still be used. Get ya own back on the stores! The greetings cards are great for nursing homes, the staff can use them for cards for the residents or the residents can use them to send to friends and family! Great haul
The price of those chips 🍟 is why I don't buy them. $6.99+ tax is ridiculous. But a nice treat from the dumpster. The bananas were appealing to me because their peels are full of potassium which is necessary for producing female flowers on pumpkins and squash. I will be buying bananas 🍌 this weekend to put in with my pumpkins and zucchini. Will pollinate by hand if I get some female flowers 💐. How's your garden?
