I wonder this can be applied in chemistry because there labs, memorization and practice problems? Any suggestions 🤔. Thank you!

Yup
Yeah, I feel so lucky
I'm going into my 5th year of medical school and even done a BSc (Bachelor) in Medical Education, we weren't exposed to lots of the insane revision tools that you mention here!
Revolutionising my way of learning content and revising just in time for my final years of medical school!
It's crazy that medical students aren't taught the best evidence-based tools to study, considering that it's all we do for 7+ years!
This actually makes a lot of sense and I am going to add that to my study routine thanks pal
And I would like to know about the progress... 🤞
Did it help?

Hmmm tbh I found the retrospective timetable really useful but only when coupled with a prospective revision timetable! so set out your (expected) dates - because it provides a goal + estimate, then as the days go by, mark down how much you've done and level of confidence. Expected date can be altered according to the confidence level. - great idea but I think the prospective part is REALLY important when making a revision timetable.
whats an introspective rev timetable?
Probably next semester, I won't have to study 6 physics chapters in 24 hrs before the exam
Currently me...
@@megan649 me too
Good luck. Also involve self care. Good sleep, exercise and drink plenty of water.😊😊😊
Hey.... I feel you
How would you balance 4 subjects using this and active recall techniques? How many days should it be between revision dates to be beneficial?
Yo Ali, I'm doing dent at the Uni of Man, and 2 of your revision videos got mentioned in our lecture today by the head of year 😂, they were linked in the slides.
I'm watching this as procrastintion. Thanks
Ive got my GCSE’s in 8 months; this is what I needed, in my head this is what I was starting to do, but having such an informative video that can help me with this is like a blessing. I cant stress enough how much this will help me. THANK YOU SOO MUCH. (In appreciation I will give credit to you when I become the head of the stocks trading sector of a bank, I promise. Thank you)
how'd you do?
This has honestly been amazing! I'm terrified about finals, but I think I'm going to incorporate this method! Thank you so much Ali ❤️❤️❤️
Ive been using this subconsciously but the way you’ve presented this is much more structured, thank you !

your study tips are saving my life. just 1 video of yours makes me learn more about ACTUALLY effective methods of studying than hundreds of other videos i've watched over the years. i'm so grateful!
I've recently gone back to College years after Graduating. I'm so happy I've found your channel. All the mistakes you've highlighted when it comes to revision I've done. I've watched 4 of your videos in a row and will continue to watch them. I've learned so much. Thank you.
This is amazing! I'm suddenly excited to get into studying! I always find studying very difficult and I'm so happy I found a method that could possibly help me achieve my goals! Thank you 🤩
This honestly has been so helpful! I just listed everything from the specifications of all my subjects and I don’t feel so scared! Thank you so much!
i swear you made studying so much fun and practical. i used to be scared for exams but all of your golden ideas just changed me and I HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK ! Thanks Ali
Ali, I just wanted to say THANK YOU! For you. For everything you are creating. For showing us that it is possible you are an inspiration to so many, including me. Keep going.

I'm glad you chose to focus on developing your youtube channel because if you didnt... absolutely no one would've known about this unbelievable study method. Started applying right away.

this is amazing!!! after watching thousands of how to study videos while procrastinating this is the only one that has got me motivated and that i understand in depth. THANK YOU
Sir, I was soo much gotten into this loop of fixing tasks on dates and getting depressed if they are not completed perfectly and wasting my time until I feel like making a new time table then from months, it started feeling like maybe there was a problem in me, but you showed me a really great way to emphasise on the task rather than dates can't thank you enough ❤ keep the good work up.
Currently doing a postgrad and your workflow and processes are worth their weight in gold! I look back at my school/college/uni life and think about how much better I could have done If i had known this earlier!
Thanks Ali!
I used to think managing an E-com store would take precedence over my study time but your tips have increased my productivity by a significant amount! I'm able to work on both at a good pace for myself. I'm trying to fit in a gym session in the morning too. Thank you for your time and dedication to helping prospective medical students.
Wow, I truly feel as though I’ve struck gold stumbling upon your channel. What a fantastic technique, I wish I was taught this at a younger age! I just recently switched my major and I am so excited to try this in the upcoming fall semester. Thank you so much for sharing!!
Out of all the youtube revision vids i have seen yours is the only that actually says something I havent heard before and is enlightening
Thank you so much for this video! You're honestly my favorite UA-camr when it comes to efficient study techniques because they're very well thought out and structured!
Love these study videos, the tips are so useful! And thank god you do it now rather than some people who do it in May/June during exams when its already too late to make use of the tips! thank you for the thoughtfulness!
I have to say I started using this method today and I cannot believe the sudden shift in my goals from finishing a certain topic in a certain time to actually relax and understand a topic thoroughly it is truly mind blowing thank you!
I also did something kinda cool , first after writing down all the topics of a certain chapter on google sheets I would click COMMENT and add my active recall questions right there. so flash cards/retrospective table all in one
thank you for all the tips that you share so motivating! all the best to you
I thoroughly enjoyed this video, I'm preparing to study for an exam and knew I could count in you for the best advice on how to create a schedule. You broke it down so well! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and wisdom. I'm off to create my 📅 now!
I have been waiting for a study related video! The universe has come forth with some brilliant knowledge from the one and only Ali Abdall! Your study methods have greatly influenced the way I study in nursing school. Active recall is a way of life!
finally, a study method that could help me with studying!! i also have a hard time using the prospective time table because i'm pressured to learn the said lessons on a certain day, and then i wouldn't be able to understand it after a few days. thank you so much for this!! 🤧 i'm going to incorporate this now~
Coming here for the nth time already haha. I used this for my exams in winter semester and I've never gotten so many 10s (As) in my life. This here is so amazing and much more productive than what I did before. I'll be using this for my future exams as well (when we find out when we'll actually have them, uhh). Thank you so much :)
you truly got the best study techniques!! other studytubes are just repeating the same techniques over and over again, but you made me change my inefficient revisions. thanks so much!
Ali your google sheets method has helped me so much.. I watched your videos one night and decided to start studying that way. I used to fail my Spanish quizzes with 30s now I pass with 90s! Thank you so much! Your amazing

This is potentially life-changing
I've already tried your Google sheet questions/answer method by coloring topics depending on my preparation and hiding the answers, and it worked wonders! And the retrospective time-table is just the icing on the cake, I'll try it straight away.

Active recall and spaced repetition
Alexander Wung how exactly could you do it through active recall and spaced retrieval?
This video is a game changer.. Its great as it can be applied to any subject. I'm currently studying accounting (AAT then ACCA) and I naturally came across active recall whilst actually not knowing nothing about active recall.. I would revise and keep on taking tests and I noticed that I was holding onto so much more information instead of just reading the book, highlighting & making notes which i use to do. I recently found your channel a few weeks ago and watched a few of your videos and I have been putting what ive learnt from yourself into practice and i feel even more prepared and confident. Many thanks Ali! Keep up the great work, loving your content.
