As a fellow sonoma owner/sonoma fan, I hate to see you sell the sonoma, on my own sonoma I had to redo the ground wire for the fuel pump and then it worked amazingly, but if it has not been sold yet, in case you have not done this yet, check the mass air flow sensor, check your distributor cap or coils, check your fuel pump itself, or replace the Injectors, there I slight chance maybe your injectors are faulty, I hope this helps a bit and keep up the awesome work! I feel like I can relate to you as I'm working on my own sonoma constantly.

Try replacing the distributor cap and rotor.

It was the fuel injectors

It happened to me on a s-10 . Replaced switch and nothing.. the problem was the fuse box
