I remember the first time getting to know PEEK An engineer had designed 2 bearings in PEEK And just ordered "some" from a catalogue. Ø60 mm x 2 m. Standard length. As was custom that place. Always order full length... Plastic it's cheap.... But no that shit is expensive. Over 5.000€ for one piece.. and only 100 mm would have been enough. I think PEEK is a bit cheaper now than back then. still expensive.
