Simple Leather Zip Wallet DIY
In this video, we take you step-by-step through the process of making one of our zip pouch wallets. Adding a zipper to a leathercraft project is a nice detail that also adds functionality, allowing you to store coins and loose material in the main zipper compartment that also holds cash and cards. You can easily make this leather zipper pouch wallet with the pattern out of your favorite leather! We recommend vegetable tanned leather, and we use Hermann Oak Bridle for ours :)

I use this technique also. It works for zippers. I carry a version of the wallet. I have only carried zippered wallets for cards and cash for 20+ years.

Would a rivet for the tab have worked well too? I like the aesthetics of tabs like that.
