Nice videos mate!! Planning to buy one, which one should i choose between legion slim 5 gen 9 AMD and this one? Use case: Professional work and hobby gaming
@@TechGuyBeau around 10-15%, m16r2 being the costlier. Both are under budget. Planning to use for around 4 years, so can invest. Getting ultra 9 185H , 4060 variant of m16 while 8845HS 4060 variant of slim 5
I appreciate your detailed snd insightful review of the laptop, and this video showing how well it actually performs in real world gaming. I definitely agree that testing in native resolution seems the most logical to me, it's a nice middle baseline, I can pretty easily guess how it'll perform at 1080p and 4k from there. Why did you not get the RTX 4070 upgrade? From what I understand, it provides about a 20% improvement in fps, which seems not bad for $200 more on a $1650 laptop to me.
what is specs of laptop 4060/70/80? and what cpu? brother wanna buy alienware, and scary about temperatures of m16, but m18 way more expensive, any tips?
Hi! Man i really enjoy that you are testing games on silent because I’m interested in buying a new laptop that is able to game on silent or with usb c charger, currently I have Msi vector GP78 HX but I doesn’t qualify for anything besides being plugged so I wanna get something else like a legion slim 5 4060/4070 with a r7 that also has a good battery life on basic usage since I need a decent laptop that maybe could do both. Do you know maybe the i7 13700H gives similar performance on silent like r7 7840HS, cuz that could be the alternative for the r7 . Thanks for your hard work and waiting for more videos!
Well I believe I could wait a bit more so they can release more products maybe something big improvements will be with these new Intel chips, but honestly I just wait for prices to stabilise or drop due to underperforming since they are overpriced Intel/mad new gens
Can you do a video on best settings to play RDR2 on this laptop, I bought 4070 variant but struggling to get best settings on it, also I see frame drops when I look at sun, it drops to 40 fps times.
Thank you for showing actual fps in game, love your channel dude.
Pls tell ur ambient room temps to have an idea of the thermals.
Who invests in a Razer Blade when you can get an Alienware. Don’t let Alienware die
Very nice, just bought the 4070 variant for $1300.00 new at BestBuy. Loving it so far
Have you found any problems with the laptop? I'm interested in buying it.
@@SnakDiegoBoy No, not at all. Everything so far works wonderfully. Been playing control max settings at FHD and it doesnt skip a beat
@@warrenmcclure7819how’s the laptop so far, played any demanding games yet?

i have a 5yr old msi ge75 raider with rtx2080..but oddly i Don't see much difference in fps..any reasons? planning to buy a new one
I have an 8 year old 1060 and still get high framerates on many of these games. I swear pc upgrades are almost 100% a scam

AMD or core ultra definitely do much better in silent. The 13th Gen stuff can struggle a bit at low watts

What specs is that would you say better then Xbox x I would love a m18 i9 but price wise still considering this as it’s easier on the pocket
A 4070 is somewhere around an Xbox. I think technically they are about 6700xt level
Where's Part 2?
What specs?
I just wanna see world of warcraft on this cpu... the only factor that i need to buy it

I’d recommend watching the digital foundry video about optimal rdr2 settings. It’s superb
All I heard was the crazy fan
Yeah the mic is sensitive to fan noise
I dunno buddy, Alienware feels too mainstream imo
Is that a bad thing lol ? What’s wrong with that I had one in the past currently using an Asus Strix 4080 laptop
@@vlone_slatt3504hey I'm wondering if u would recommend me getting the strix 18 or Alienware M18 r2 how is your strix?
1500 and can't even do 60fps. trash!
