I miss you Jim Bishop , I don't know if you will remember me but we had several raves there in the 90's sun sound located out of Florida Aron & Annie we miss you & your wife we herd that she went to see the LORD. you have done a lot of work to the castle since I've been there I'll probably never get a chance to visit it again but I will never forget the party's we had at the castle literally thousands of people attended the party's we through some very awesome memories . GOD bless you Jim Bishop , take care of yourself brother.
We bought land in Tara J in 1971 about 3 miles down the highway from the Castle. We started building in 1974 and always enjoyed keeping up with Jim Bishops progress with our 3 children. This Documentary is a Great Tribute to Jim & his family.
Years ago I attended classes on film making. While working in Colorado I heard about Jim and went to talk to him about making a documentary. I spent two weeks with him but because of a misunderstanding dealing with his wife I never finished. It was a lack of my own inexperience with dealing with people that stopped me from completing it. As well as my own inexperience in filmmaking. His wife is an amazing lady. I do not mean to disparage her. It was an experience I will never forget. Jim Bishop is the toughest, most cantankerous, most driven, example of the best America has to offer that I have ever met. We had conversations off camera that revealed the he truly is. He deserves a movie and I am going to try to see he gets it.
Jim is what a real man should be. I am honored to have met and talked to him. His Castle is the Greatest thing I have seen in Colorado, and Colorado is the greatest place I have ever been. God Bless Jim Bishop forever.
Great video! Three generations of my family here in Texas have visited the Castle numerous times since we discovered it in the 1990's and I have had the privilege of chatting with Jim on several occasions and photographing. Always an interesting conversation.
Mr. Bishop, gone but never forgotten, I spoke with you every few years and I always tell folks to go see your amazing creation. Enjoy your fellowship with the Lord.
💗 u so much and it is biblical if only stones could talk. Friends and i had moments at this castle. Thank you for giving us a place to let go and run around free. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

an amazing accomplishment. i have lived a stones throw away from the castle for 17 years. never gets tiresome visiting the man made wonder of the world. according to wikipedia this is the largest one man made project in the world.
never embrace a man, they will remember it for all their live, and might get "revenge" on it. With him, he build a castle so no one can told you what to do.

This video needs to go viral. Amazing documentary
Thank you for this. I learned more about Jim in this video than I did actually talking to him for nearly an hour back in the 90’s.
Feel it’s a pretty lousy video. Jim is great. The producers of this video are losers.
