    LITHIA SPRINGS, Ga. - Some ugly moments in a March 2022 homeowners association meeting has Douglas County Probate Judge Christina Peterson in more legal hot water.
    Peterson already faced complaints from a state regulatory board which last year asked but failed to get her temporarily suspended from office.
    Only elected less than two years ago, Peterson must now defend herself against 50 counts of violating the Georgia Code of Judicial Conduct. No one can remember a larger number pending against a sitting Georgia judge.
    The most recent allegations involve her comments during that HOA meeting at the Silver Creek Ranch neighborhood in Lithia Springs, organized as a friendly gathering, so the neighbors could get to know the new HOA president.

    From her CashApp birthday requests, to more , I’ve been in her courtroom, she is a danger, she doesn’t listen, and the law means nothing to her! Literally told her the law and she said she never heard of it while having a computer in front of her. She also approved a gun license for a person who was sent to jail over 13 times. Spokane county in Spokane Washington is so corrupt that when I tried to complain about a slum lord among many. I wasn't given any space to speak about the abuse. The judge was also a drunkard. She would get drunk before going to work and we could tell and the community knew that she was a drunk yet she wasn't held accountable for her misconduct and it was a no wonder why slum laws were getting away with abusing tenants by not correcting the problems in his apartment he was renting. People were getting murdered in one of the apartments I rented but the junkies doing whatever they want Spokane is run by a corrupt congresswoman. My cousin Joe Pakootas ran for congressman I think back in 2016 and they rejected him and I believe because he's native American not European American. Because my cousin would have cleaned all that that is corrupt european-americans create and what they allow.

    • @hewhohasnoidentity4377
      @hewhohasnoidentity4377 2 роки тому +5

      If you are surprised she is still on the bench, I might be able to help you understand. Most judges are elected by voters in elections according to the process required by the state constitution. When someone is elected, it is very hard to remove them from office. Typically it requires a recall vote or an impeachment proceeding. Judges can have their bar admission taken away, and therefore become ineligible, but that requires very serious circumstances that don't come close to applying here. Even if she were to be found guilty on all counts, it would not be unusual for a lawyer to given an opportunity to take classes, get counseling, and have another lawyer monitor them for a probation period.
      Her being an elected judge, the state bar is forced to believe that the voters chose who they wanted in that position. It is not up to the state bar to overrule the voters.
      Removing judges at any level has only happened a handful of times in the history of the country.
      Also, many judges are able to serve for many years unopposed so the election is just a paperwork formality.
      And, just like everyone hates Congress but doesn't think their representatives are the problem, the same is true for judges. Elected officials don't have to care what anyone thinks other than the eligible registered voters that actually vote in every election.
      In some places an off year election usually has less than 10% turnout.

    It takes a long time to try and navigate around the Race Card! They need to stack up the charges. Single charges every so often would just lead to years/decades of this "judge" playing the race card. Public officials are very careful these days to say anything negative about minorities, even if it is 100% fact. They are much more concerned about their reputation and having a long political career to enrich themselves at the detriment of their communities.

    Her attorney is acting like they’re “stacking” the charges out of MALICIOUSNESS, but they understand that IF they don’t make their case SO overwhelming there’ll be some juror or another (that’ll think it’s a conspiracy against her) AND DELIBERATELY TORPEDO THE TRIAL, out of their bigotry of low/no expectations, and/or maybe they just WON’T convict!

    I'm a lawyer. No.....you NEVER put yourself in any position whatsoever where it even appears as though you're talking to a person who is represented by counsel, especially in an active case where you're client is party to the same litigation. Period. Case closed.
    As a judge, what this woman has done not only merits her immediate suspension by the Chief Justice of the Court where she presides, but by the Georgia Bar as well. Her conduct here more than merits consideration for a full and permanent disbarment by the Georgia Supreme Court.
    FYI, any attorney admitted in the State of Georgia who witnessed this behavior has a duty to report her conduct to the Georgia Bar Association, if it hasn't been done already.

      Who said she was a diversity hire? Judges are either appointed by the governor or win an election. There’s no “hiring” going on. Some judges do let the power go to their heads and overstep. They forget that they’re part of the judicial branch is also part of a government that has 2 other co-equal branches. They can be checked. But, 50 counts is excessive (judicial misconduct commission charges are usually concise) and is more indicative of how much the local bar hates this woman being on the bench.
