Brian is so underrated. Fabulous actor. Great villian, great heavy. Comedy, drama he can play it all! Wish he got some more really bigger leading roles. He deserved it!
Nobody underates him. He is just not that famous of course in movies he does a great job.
What does "great heavy" mean?
@JonO387 He plays a great Heavy or big bad boss, big villian, toughest Henchman
@@JonO387 What Russ said, heavy aka baddie, bad guy, main villain.
I agree with Russ, Brian can act circles around 90% of so-called "actors" nowadays. Because at least when Brian acts, I can feel his emotion and he comes across as actually giving a damn. I've never seen him phone it in, regardless of how big or small the movie or role.
I grew up watching you one of the best underdogs in Hollywood
Brian Thompson is one of those actors you always notice on screen. Never fails to leave an impression. Man's got range too. Respect!!👍🏼👊🏼
Those sort of actors are the best because you recognize them, almost comforting like "Oh hey Brian Thompson's in this? Now I definitely wanna watch this movie".
Oh. definitely, love the work he did.
This dude never misses, always happy when he pops on screen
Brian will always be the definitive Shao Kahn. Man is nothing but entertaining on screen.
Brian was the main reason I watched that movie.
I don’t want peace….I want problems….ALWAYS!!!
This… is the beginning of the end
Show them the way TO OBLIVION!
Brian has such a talent for comedy ... perfect timing and delivery of lines ... Wonderful!
From horror to comedy and everything in-between. One of my favorite character actors.
Your role in Cobra should have been bigger, you were the best in the movie. Nice to see variety in your roles, thanks for the video.
-I said I'd be here.
-Can we make it?
-We'll make it.
Brian, the way you said those lines there as the helicopter pilot in Miracle Mile has stuck with me for decades. I first saw it as a kid in the 90s.
Oftentimes if I'm in a jam or I need to solve a problem, I can hear that line "we'll make it" in my head. And it's very reassuring to be honest.
Thank you, Brian! 🙏 a Swedish fan
Miracle Mile is fantastic, very underrated movie. So is Cherry 2000, the only other movie Steve De Jarnat directed. He was ahead of his time.
Still an incredible career of such an underrated actor!
This guy is an icon. Grew up to this guy. He definitely needs his recognition cause he been in the industry for so long and has played so many iconic.
That is quite the résumé.
And your line, "Wash day tomorrow! Nothing clean, right?" is absolutely iconic, mainly because of the conviction of your delivery. 😎
One of the great comedic scenes in action movie history. Alongside the other brilliant character actor, Bill Paxton.
Damn Brian got some range! Has def acted with some of the best of em too. There isnt many actors who have stood with Arnold, Sly AND Denzel. Respect!
Such an underrated actor! Still my favorite 80s-villain... Had such nightmares after I saw Cobra as... a 6-year old, and I have ever since enjoyed his work. :)
Brian and Danny Trejo are among the best
Brian you absolute legend! Greatest actor in the world! I am a proud member of the Brian Thompson appreciation society! Yes you have one for being such a legend!
Great reel. Huge respect. One cool role is missing though that never gets enough love: Eddie Fiori, the vampire mobster in the short-lived Spelling TV production KINDRED: THE EMBRACED.
Once saw Brian talk about getting the call for his role in 'Cobra', and being surrounded by peers that instantly celebrated his success. That's how I feel whenever he shows up in a project, so flipping excited!
With his intimidating physique it would be easy to think Brian was just hired to portray thugs, but he defies expectations with his ability to play everything and anything between monsters and sophisticated gentlemen. Thank you, Brian You are awesome! I am glad you weren't a "leading man" because it gave you so many opportunities to play colorful characters for us and not get type-casted.
Brian is like hot sauce, makes whatever you put him in that much better. One of those actors you get excited to see in a film if you didn't know in advance . You let out a little "yes!" out loud . And he always chews up the scenery
This guy was a huge part of my childhood. Thanks for the great memories. I am African and nearly 40.
You, Sir have had an absolutely amazing career! 😎Thank you for all the entertainment. 😉👍🏻
Whoa, he has INCREDIBLE range, talk about underrated.
This is absolutely glorious Brian. I've been on a binge watching all of your roles and there's clips here of some shows I can't seem to find online, so thank you for showing all these! Thank you so much for all the entertainment, there's never a time I haven't got a huge grin on my face when you're on screen!
Man, what an actor.
My brother and I were fans of Brian as kids, but we could never remember his name so we called him "Muscley Face Man" because it seemed like you could see the muscles in his face, lol. Three Amigos is an all-time favorite of ours, and I love that you included the "This town is getting too rough for me" line in that scene even though it cuts away from Brian. It's just too good a line not to include.
I totally forgot he was in Three Amigos!
Best actor in the world; you've been my favorite actor since Cobra.. and you just keep getting better. You left out one of my favs tho; Eddie Fiori from Kindred the Embraced. Tho Sheriff Cody is one of your best. Love ya Brian!
Sheriff Cody lives as MY all time fave!
Man, I was just going to comment how awesome Cody was..lol..you really have great touch at Comedy.
@@Skoora Buffalo bob 😅
You know how at the end of Citizen Kane, Orsen Wells says "rosebud". I might say "Key West..."
If I could have a character to play for years, it would be him. His head space did not allow for adversaries. Imagine how beautiful that world is... To visit that reality, weekly was joy.
I loved him as the Alien bounty hunter in X-Files. Such a memorable presence!
THIS bastard! Always playing the heel for the first half of my life. Maybe you did more... but you are always a bad guy to me. Thanks for being a part of the thing! You are an unsung Legend.
I absolutely love seeing him show up as a random villain in anything!
Brian I love your work. You've been in so many great shows over the years, it's hard to say which is a favorite! Every time I see you pop up in a film I smile and think "hey that's him!".
One of the most underrated, underutilized and versatile actors working today who can do any role and leave a lasting impression. I would love to see Brian in a Tarantino, Scorsese or a Nolan film.
Dude, you've been a BOSS forever. When you're on screen, you burn a hole in it. Your best is yet to come. Thanks for sharing.
A very unique face. He was born to play the bad guy.
Love this guy💯💪He was the best in every role he played....he always gave 1000%! Can’t think of a movie or show that Brian was in that I didn’t enjoy. Hope that you and your family have a blessed one, Brian💯🙏If this is really Brian then YOU ROCK, BUDDY!
Every time you appear on screen , no matter what it is, it’s automatically more entertaining!!! Thanks for your work
So underrated but us fans know that you made movies and lead characters i.e Cobra so much better. Thanks for being a part of my child hood and scaring the sh%t out of me. Much respect Mr. Thompson.
He deserves more credit than he gets, man has been in everything.
Another leading role would be so amazing. I loved the extendables. He is up there with van damme and arnold in my book.
Thanks so much for posting this. I grew up in the 80s and Brian always scared the crap out of me, of course maybe from Cobra. Then I kind of wormed up to him in Miracle Mile. He was still a little scary, but I thought “Ok he’s just a helicopter pilot trying to help” 😆 Rutger Hauer was perfect in “Nighthawks” but the Night Slasher could of easily filled those shoes and “Cobra” could of made a great follow up. How the hell did you approach the character development for that role? This was before Richard Ramirez and you were a part of a vague organization that to be honest wasn’t explained very well. And you made it work to scared us 80s kids. I love how you can easily go from the Night Slasher to acting next to Martin Short. You hav a great comedic side. Love and miss you Brian. Hope you and your family are going well.
Mr. Thompson thanks you so much, you made the 1980 soo much fun 😊!you were so much better than I ever knew
You're so well known for playing characters less than reputable, but it's always heartwarming when I see you play a good guy! I can tell your true nature comes through! Plus, you've been called upon by the Star Trek universe more than once, and that alone deserves a never-ending salute from me! :) A distant relative whom I've never met was a part of the Star Trek unvierse too, John Schuck. He's actually still around...
Dude, your role in cobra was iconic. One of my favorite movies growing up
Brian is an incredibly versatile actor, when I see him in a movie I know it's going to be good!! I freaking loved him in the Star Trek episode with Riker, he absolutely cracked me up!! That was a pleasure to watch!
Dear Brian, thanks for your acting! I knew from most things most things…but the frankstein caught me off guard 😂😂…loved it!!!
Brian you made a large part of my childhood.
THE KING COMMANDS
Brian Thompson is amazing...
Brian Thompson! One of the Best ! Subscribed!!
Brian you are amazing!! I am so glad you kept going and going with your roles! Thank you!!
This guy is one of those guy's that's recognizable, he plays the roles so well, he's also very believable and has that persona to draw you in while watching the movie, this guy is 1 of the best out there, very entertaining, from comedy, drama, action, bad guy, nice work!
Brian was badass in EVERYTHING he was in!👍👍👍
I saw Brian’s demo reel from his website a few years ago, and of course enjoyed his performances in many productions I watched over the years. This collection is a fantastic resource for fans of his work and fans of film/tv in general. I wish I was old enough to see Key West when it aired, by all accounts it’s a fantastic show 😅 Thanks a million for the upload! This is my favorite UA-cam upload in recent memory.
That was pretty cool. First time I saw him was terminator cobra, Three Amigos, Mortal Kombat, and Joe dirt didn’t know he did so many rolls God bless Brian without you the 80s would’ve sucked! 👏👍
Brian is absolutely one of the greatest actors of his generation. This was a fantastic compilation.
Wow, you, sir . Are you one of the greats! 😊 thank you for all the wonderful movies!😊
A wonderful surprise to have this compilation pop up on my feed. Thank you Brian!
Every person in this world recognize the career of this great Actor , who gives us the entire life and art , God bless Brian !!!! CONGRATULATIONS !!!
thanks for all these memories over the years...
Bravo! What a resume! This guy can do it all 💯👏
Amazing Actor, X-Files and Cobra roles scared me so much as a kid.
I am happy getting to see all these different characters.
I enjoyed every role i saw from the other films aswell.
Met Brian once at LAX got his auto, he liked my name. Cool guy, he's awesome.
Always loved your work, Mr Thompson.
Night Slasher is your best work in my opinion. What a character. You really embodied the work. Also you were hilarious on Bouncers 😂 I’d never seen that before haha
Very underrated actor/singer. His voice and jaw line are perfect.
It was great seeing Brian Thompson in The Scottish Play.
What a talented and unique individual. I love all your works, Brian. GOD bless you. You making everything instenly interesting.
Dude, hellyeah. Sure, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation was a flop, but Thompson gave the most memorable performance out of all of them.
I think it was a mistake that Shao Kahn was bold, though. He wasn't looking as scary as I imagined him to be. The real magic behind the character was the combination between the grim looks and the voice, especially the voice.
You've done amazing work, Brian!! Don't ever stop. ❤
Hollywood has truly done Brian Thompson injustice. All we know him by are his villain roles but the sheer volume of characters he has played and the diverse range of roles he has portrayed he is truly the work horse on the back of whom Hollywood fantasies were created and heroes were forged.
Amazing video. Thank you. Mr Gazo's wife skit was hilarious lol
i'm on the protagonist's side until Brian shows up, then i switch sides! You're the man, keep up the good work! We wanna see a lot more of your work!
Thoroughly enjoyed this!
I love this guy! Never realized how aweome he really is and how dam funny! Genius!
Wow, I need to watch these films. He is such a good actor❤
Always been a fan! Some actors have a ton of presence. He brings a lot to his characters
Love your work, man. Thanks for all the great entertainment over the years.
Such a great actor! Brian, your work on Jason and the Argonauts is by far the best Hercules I've ever seen on film. Thank you so much for decades of awesome movies and your great talent!
best 40 minutes I spent on UA-cam today...Brian is such awesome actor. From Terminator straight on through to Mortal Kombat and to TV shows. This big fella is bad ass cool guy.
Been so long since seeing Cobra and the Axe gang. I loved how the gang in following scenes had fewer and fewer members. Such good memories, watched it so long ago! :)
Thank you for being such a big part of my childhood!
I always loved the blend of Brian's intelligence and articulation with his imposing physical presence. A fantastic actor with such versatility and truly memorable career.
Wow, that was a very cool trip down Memory Lane-SO many neat roles and movies/series😃 You’re one of those actors that’s been in literally everything and worked with everybody and is ALWAYS so fun to watch, congratulations on an such eclectic career and keep on doing your thing man😊👍🏾
Thanks Bri- I would have to say of all the movies, Moon 44 was my favorite. Long Live Jake!
What an actor, I’ve loved seeing you in lots of my favourite movies and series.
" The court is civilized, isn't it ...pig"..... aged very well.
It puts the lotion on!!! I didn’t know this was you. I want to personally thank you for all the laughs I had with my dad and brothers watching this. Brings warm memories to my mind. A testament to your dedication you put into your work. Thanks a lot
His role in Cobra was the best.
Brian Thompson could act as a conqueror of worlds or an extremely timid door man. Owns every role.
I'm younger and saw you in Mortal Kombat and Joe Dirt. Love your work!!!
One of my favorite actors..
Bozworth in Fright Night 2 is one of my favorites.
Is someone trying to impersonate Brian in here?
He is a legend. How come only 1.76 K subscribers. The guy deserves millions of people supporting. He is a class act, amazing talented actor :)
His performance in Cobra was brilliant. Pure savage beast of a man.
great actor thank you for all the years you rock
Thompson was in most of my childhood movies. Man got an iconic jaw.
(Crime is a disease, meet the cure)What a film. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“I don’t deal with psychos, I put em away!” Marion Cobretti. 1986. ❤
Fantastic.
40 minutes 40 characters, who cares what scene's were left out because I think this was well put together. 💯
14:26 this brings me joy. Brian flying in on a bright sunny day.
Dude was jacked! Very few people could keep that shape over so many years. Was always a fan Brian.
NIce! The Brian mega mix!
This actor deserved more than he got.
