Couple of years ago, I bought a generic ZH15 I think it is. When time came and I had to replace the battery, the area for the battery was too small to get it out, least to say, I was amazed. So I of course enlarged the opening and now it is easy to replace the battery. Mine is in the rear of the machine. I love my Lil excavator, it is a work aholic. When I ordered it, I upgraded to the Kubota diesel. Worth every penny extra.
@hamop3 Good to hear you’ve had a straight worker! Really nice to hear about these long term owners that were content and happy with their purchase after some years on it. I’m hoping that is the case with this one! Best of luck and thanks for the support!
@Acekg1911 that’s the plan to get it to work and do an oil change video on it here soon! Very nice, that’s a decent size one and they can do quite a bit of work for their size.
@dibber13 Correct time is money and it just sucks that this did happen. Twice now! Hopefully it’s a clean stretch from here now on it. You considering getting one?
Thanks so much for your share and opening up the machine, I pick my ZX22 up next weekend, 07/19/24. This Helps me out more than you know! I have built cars and trucks so not a problem. I will want to get rid of that rattling sound that is even on Ron's UA-cam video!
I Think I'm Going to just strip the Bitch down so I know my Machine after my 10 hour oil change warranty recommendation! And keep my confidence strong in this machine! THANKS and Share all you got.
@Neilkoster4823 I’m excited for you! There’s definitely a good feeling to picking a brand new machine! No worries that’s what I’m here for. Like I said these are videos I would of wanted to see. Tough though since I am working on the field all the time and do these as I can! That rattle is awful! Little plugs worked well so far as the metal that secures the panels is not a solid size, it gets wider further back.
That would be a really good idea. It isn’t much once you take the panels apart. It is pretty open from there, I would just check the wires for sure at the very least. Aside from that by 10-hours you should be able to see if there are any leaks starting or present. Keep us updated!
@@parsleyequipment This must be Adam! Pretty cool your putting some videos up as well. I'm glad to be a customer of this franchise that I already see is taking off LIKE CRAZZZY! @@FormerlywarmerNo they weren't. They were based on that car. They were smaller and most importantly not made by Fiat. They suffered from poor quality control.
@Balamala2647 Those I don’t have much experience with. However, there are some incentives going on right now that are pretty motivating. If you see my last video we actually just got another vermeer, the CTX160.
Me and my buddy have matching Ditch Witch sk 1050. Both have had wires rub through from poor routing and hydraulic hoses rubbed thru. Had to replace the screens on both. Mine shorted the computer when it rubbed thru and was down for a year.
@@billymartin-q5e That is awful! I will say that a pro to having a brand name with dealer warranty is the fact that they help you with having a machine at all times. Believe it or not we’ve had our new CTX160 go out 3-times. Once was for a drive motor and the other two were for hydraulic issues and leaks.
@Tacomafan7488 As long as it’s working out for you that’s all that matters! Some of these machines for the smaller jobs. I’m probably one of the few that is interested in putting them into a rigorous commercial setting! Which I do believe is the true test as an everyday machine. If I could I’d like to try out a mini and a wheel loader!
They have a few, but I bought from the one in Kentucky. They also do ship and are very easy to work with. Give Steve or Brad a call from Q&A equipment and feel free to pick their brains.
The kymron seems to be a little problematic, any regrets on purchasing it? Do you wish you'd bought a different brand excavator and if so which? Thanks and good luck
@Outdoorsy368 yeah I agree, it’s had its quirks more than I would of liked right from the get go. I’m lucky they haven’t been major, and I’ve been having support from Kymron. I don’t regret it yet, the savings are still worth it. The true test will stand if it lasts 3-years or more.
I have an H65, and it's problematic from top to bottom. It jerks like you're riding a bull. It only has 23 hours, and I'm machining the bushings and pins to adjust the tractor's sloppiness. Nearly all the bolts were loose, none with any thread lock. It just seems to me that once received from China, the machine was never even gone through. I don't think I could recommend anyone purchasing a Kymron unit.
@markcook2086 I’m sorry to hear that. I would imagine that at that size and price point you’re more prone to getting a better inspected and built machine. Any other issues that you can share, especially since it’s very low on hours?
@Chrisrosado3929 At the time I had 3 hours on the machine which is what blew my mind. Granted I do feel these problems were already coming up since it seemed way too little time to run through wiring and the tank just came bad. Very thin material on the tank for sure. I’d like to see if a plastic one could be modified on to it. That would hold up a lot better with time and vibration.
So currently I was offered an E20 which is of similar comparison. The difference is every bit of 10k depends where you’re at. However, to me there was still plenty saving going Kymron.
I originally was looking at the same model Kymron. There was an extremely long delivery time for it to be shipped here. I went with a Groundhog brand with a similar comparison to your model. So far it has been running well. I bought the machine with 4 attachments and it was still cheaper than Deere, Kubota, and Bobcat by several thousand. The price comparison for the name brands did not include attachments or hydraulic thumbs.
As someone who purchased a used E20 a year ago, I can tell you it is probably better in almost every way. And the E20 has a joystick mounted button to control the thumb. It seems to me these Chinese units have gotten to be enough money where the difference isn't that big of a deal to upgrade to the name brand while at the same time lacking the comforts and features and reliability of the name brands.
@@chrisrosado3929 I think that’s what drives a lot of interest into these. I am content with mine so far and it does what I need it to do. Really wish I had one of those 360 grapple attachments but those are a few thousand themselves!
@BrightthgirB I wouldn’t be nervous, it’s a good expense and yes there are things that arise but it can happen with any machine. I will say the good is that in theory they are a simple machine overall. Not many electronics into them. So it should be a somewhat simple fix.
