What makes it worse is that Mask of Bakris used to be better. It used to grant bonus damage against slowed or frozen targets instead of the useless surge mod effect which has been proven to be a DPS decrease. It also used to buff the damage to Silence and Squall or duskfield's tick damage so it has overall become far weaker thanks to Bungie just hating fun.
I was using this helmet for first day but… I was thinking since we constantly get orbs anyways and can use mods I wanna try the arms for larger duskfields instead. Synergy with AOE and the artifact. Again, I haven’t checked it out.
Did a nightfall and quite enjoying this build...would you say I could run it in the new dungeon? Maybe need to swap out the super? Would appreciate if you had any suggestions for this
it used to be the silent meta when the season of the lost elemental well mods dropped. high energy fire + font of might + elemental shards would give you a 50% weapon boost after picking up a stasis shard, and this could also be activated during a damage phase by using supreme wellmaker (which gave you 3 stasis wells for an effective 30 second damage boost if you spaced them out properly). using bakris just made sense because it gave you a 10% damage boost to slowed targets, and since you were already using your super for supreme wellmaker, whichever boss you were shooting would be slowed and primed for the damage boost. the whole combo gave you 1.65x stasis weapon damage without debuffs or a team which is higher than anything we can achieve these days. with a well and tractor, you’d be sitting at 2.32x dmg 😧. unfortunately the mod changes, which genuinely ruined the sandbox imo, resulted in bakris getting a generic surge boost which entirely killed its stacking potential
@moedadalan yeah tbf of it was a "silent" meta was it really a meta thing? And the way I see it mask of Barris just simply gives u a damage boost that's stackable but there are better stasis options now that either give u good ad clear or good survivability
😂😂 no new using this shit, look at how power crept warlocks are with infinite grenades but using a dodge is broke according to bungie very soon hunters are gonna get power crept out just go look at the buffs the other two got hunters got nerfed overall

Word of advice: EX Diris is very very strong with this build.
11 sec isn't enough time for pve. It's fine the way it is in pvp but needs more time in pve to make it viable.

I use radiant dance machine with the new gl cause its funny to just shoot dodge shoot dodge repeat

If you swap the super, Mask won't work
Curious, would an exotic class item with foetracer be just as effective?
Like foetracer/coyote even?
Get a damage buff for stasis weapons using duskfield/wither or use ascension to jolt and get the buff for arc weapons?
