Hello ! Nice video...I've had the camera for about a month now and I think it's great! Before this camera I had a one X ...the quality of this one is on a whole other level!
Nice video. Do you know if it can shoot in Single Lens Mode, or at least a way to stop the camera from pointing the same way... so that when you pan to point at the subject and pan, you'll see the same pan on playback. At present the camera tries to keep the view in the same place regardless of how you move the camera. ,
Hello! How did you make this photo in 180º at 7:05 in the video. I didn't find the "simple lens" option like it has on insta360 X3. I'm already thinking that the RS 1inch doesn't take pictures using the single lens option. Thanks for the video... Congratulations
Great video! I do have a question...I take a lot of 360 photos of places, but it has been a hassle to label which is which when I am done. Is there a way to change file names on the fly so I can keep organized? Right now I use a whiteboard, but I have to go in and edit it out which is tedious. Appreciate your advice!
Awesome video very informative, specially for first time users. What do you recommend for virtual tours? I have been using mettaport with the 1 inch insta 360 but I notices when I do my upload in Mettaport, the compression is horrible... compared with the picture you can get normally
I have an issue with my Insta 360 RS One 1-Inch Edition. How come when I film indoors, I cannot show both the inside and out when filming in video or photo? In other words, the outside is overexposed. Please let me know what settings I can do to fix for both video and photo.
Very, very good and informative video. One question: even if it doesn't seem to have dual lens mode, would it not still be possible to just let it film, and afterwards extract both angles separately, and mix together in post? An also, is this a hardware or software restriction, i.e. could it be upgraded in the future? Thanks!
Software. For stills, yes, you probably could do it afterwards. For video, it shoots a proprietary format so that might be more challenging until they add that function in the software.
Please tell me how to make ordinary photos from 360 hdr pureshot photo without quality loss, reframing inside the standard application degrades the quality(
Just like you are doing, take a 360 photo, use Insta360 Studio to crop the image down to normal proportions, then export. Just know that the more you crop, they less quality you will have. Also the desktop version of Studio will give you a lot more quality than the mobile version.
@@forestchaput when I copy, I get a jpg format, but how can I get a cropped dng so that I can process it in photoshop? Or do I first need to process 360 photos in Photoshop, save it later in jpg and then crop it? Please tell me I don't understand how to do it
@@forestchaput I want to edit a flat photo after exposure in Photoshop so that it is in dng format, but the desktop version of the application does not allow me to do this ((
My One RS 1-inch overheats everytime when I get to around 18mins on 6k30, I can't trust it for video as I was using it for random social locations doing podcast interviews. Sent to repair and still does it, and this is indoors. The top dual-lens seems to get the hottest, and when sending into repair they replace the "core" brain piece that the microSD card goes into. My "core" has been replaced two times now. I say it works, but have to babysit the device and keep a watch that it's still on and recording, or you'll loose professionally planned footage from overheating. Now this item is discontinued.
Appreciate the info. I love how clear my videos are until I export them out of Insta360 studios desktop app. Then the quality collapses and I’m left with a pixelated mess, nowhere near the quality it was when shot. Not sure what is wrong yet but I’ll keep messing with it to figure it out.
Yes! Connect ONE RS to your PC via the official cable. Open the DCIM > Camera01 folder, then copy the photos/videos you want to your PC. Here is the official link to that on the Insta 360 website. onlinemanual.insta360.com/oners/en-us/camera/filetransfer#:~:text=Download%20files%20from%20ONE%20RS%20to%20your%20PC,you%20want%20to%20your%20PC.
Hi! Unfortunately I just found the video which I appreciate for its content and clarity. I have one comment! The manufacturer is very silent about the fact that at 6K video resolution the camera can only record 20-25 minutes of footage because it stops working due to overheating. However, in the advertisement they continue to advertise an hour of recording!
Oh wow. I actually didn't know that. Unfortunately I feel like that's becoming more common as cameras continue to get smaller and more powerful without proper cooling.
Have you ever used a 360 camera?!? 🏠
Not yet
Had the x2 and due to my mistake, it broke. Just bought the 1 inch, can't wait and never going back to gopro.

Thanks for sharing
Thank you ! Nice to have fresh recommendations with this exclusive camera. I really enjoy my one !
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching!
I have had the camera since it came out and your explanation of the camera has made me understand how to use it great job.
Great to hear!!

I just exported the 180 image out from the computer Insta360 App.
Excellent info and good use of my time, rather than talking on and on and on about things i don't care about like a lot of videos about this camera.
I appreciate that, thank you for watching!

I wish! Not that I've found unfortunately.
Can a shoot regular 16:9 videos using just one of the lenses?
No, but you can shoot 360, import that footage into the Studio app, then export standard 1920x1080 from that.
Super helpful. How to get rid of the stitch line disctrotion in an HDR photo. Please make a video on that.
The camera must be still and there are no people or cars moving. Shoot with a tripod.
Thank you for answering my question
thanks for the tips
You bet!
Very informative video!
Glad it was helpful!

Hmmm. That's a bit out of my wheelhouse. I know our school uses 3DVista which works really well. www.3dvista.com/en/products/virtualtour

Have your had the opportunity to compare the photo quality of the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch and the Theta Z1?
Nope. I've only used the Insta360.

Looking for a memory card length capacity before full. Can you help.
Hmmm. I believe that information is available on the spec sheet.

It's not degrading the quality, it's just cropping which will make things look more pixelated.

Hi Rocky is it possible to set up the recording bitrate? I tried on the menu but I couldn't. Thanks
Bitrate is not accessible. And it is low. This review is highly selective and incomplete in it's information.

That’s strange! I’ve never run into that before.
Can you plug it up to the computer with the USB C and transfer video files without taking SD CARD out?

Absolutely, just connect USB C from camera side to USB inlet in your PC/Mac.
Us a c connect cable on both ends, doesn’t work using a thumb drive adapter.

@@forestchaput Hi!
Thank you but that does not answer my question! When you used the camera did you experience any warming or not? Thank you!
❤
There are no videos on this that aren't done by someone who was given a camera.
Yeah, that’s pretty common for a lot of these types of cameras. My opinions are my own though so just know I didn’t withhold anything for the video.
Boring!
Exciting!
