    I really love this with the Good Vibes papers - so much fun. The Perfectly Imperfect stamp set is definitely the best thing for backgrounds, love how you use it!

      Thanks Janice, it really is my most used stamp set. I thought I wouldn’t like it as much as strokes of an artist but I like it more because of the different texture options

    I can't wait for the "how to" photo printing tutorial. I love the colors and the way that you incorporate old and new products to create works of art.

    I love your videos. I recently went to my first ever scrapbooking retreat and was able to use many of the techniques you show on your videos. I'm returning to scrapbooking after about a 10 year hiatus- Love the new layout ideas and products available.

      Thank you and that is wonderful to hear. The industry has changed so much over the last ten years and it is so fun to try all the new techniques. Retreats are always a good time aren't they?

    Hi Erin - absolutely love your layout!!! You are so very creative!! I would love to do it, but unfortunately your link to the workshop details is not working. Can you help???? Thanks so much, Joan

    • @CraftyConceptswithErin
      @CraftyConceptswithErin  2 роки тому

      Hello Joan, I am so happy to hear you liked the layout, it is a fun one and great for scraps! The link is no longer working because it was a special that is no longer available. The good news is CTMH is archiving all the workshops. This workshop was created for a different paper pack but I used the good vibes as you see in the video. You can find all the workshops on my website. When you are on the homepage click the three little lines then click more and towards the bottom you will see workshop guides and they are listed in alphabetical order. You can find this layout under As You Grow scrapbooking work shop. This link should take you right to the workshop page, happy crafting! erinjacobson.closetomyheart.com/ctmh/products/workshop-guides.aspx

    How did you “gut” the background paper

    • @CraftyConceptswithErin
      @CraftyConceptswithErin  Рік тому

      Great question, here is a video actually showing the process of gutting the background paper. It’s about 5 mins into the video ua-cam.com/video/Qc1Ca01WGyM/v-deo.html

  • @ameliasarno1210
    @ameliasarno1210 2 роки тому

    Quick question why did you rub the stamp on your wrist??

    • @CraftyConceptswithErin
      @CraftyConceptswithErin  2 роки тому

      That is a great question, it probably looks strange when you do not know the reason lol. It is called seasoning a stamp. When stamps come fresh from the factory they have a coating that interferes with the ink adhering. A quick rub on your skin removes this and improves the texture of the stamp. When I am inking a stamp for the very first time, I do this and also stamp it on scratch paper several times until it is stamping perfectly. Even if the stamp is used it can pick up lint or dust and rubbing against your arm removes any impurities that could interfere with your stamping results. Some crafters use an eraser to achieve the same results but that takes longer because the eraser is smaller. Hopefully that makes sense.
