Lovely photo!! Yes I love that Alan Jackson song. When. My husband and I met in grade 8. It reminds me so much of us growing together through school years. Means more now that he has passed. I love stories of couples who are high school sweethearts, so sweet.

Thank you! Sadly, one of my favorite high school teachers was killed while gathering cattle. They played this song at his celebration of life and it really struck something deep inside. The words are beautiful and powerful.

Remember When is very sentimental for us too. We got to see Alan Jackson in concert 9-11-21 in Des Moines. I videoed that particular song and put the QR code on my layout.
It is such a special song with powerful lyrics. How fun to have seen him in concert and great idea to attach the QR code!
Love it!!! And, yes, I cut my photos with the fancy scissors, and I permed my hair. When the kids were little and “Remember When “ came on the radio, they knew Mama was going to be singing and crying! We danced to it at our daughter’s wedding! And I plan to use the lyrics in our anniversary album.
I love this Greta, it is the perfect song and all the more special for you having danced to it at your daughter's wedding. It is a tear jerker and you simply must sing along.

Such a fun layout, love the bright colors with the black and white papers❤ I love putting pictures together from different points in life. I’ve also done layouts with the same event, but different generations. It’s so fun to see these in one place, this layout was a perfect way to showcase that❤

Glad it was helpful! The antistatic powder tool works great to remove adhesive as well.
This is a layout I am going to definitely use--less that six minutes into the video I was captivated by the black frame with white AND the use of the triangles for the corners is what I really like [the black and white combo]. So many possibilities for use with framing family photos--and add a splash of the embellishments. Thank you

I paper piece and have for years (for customers) and now that im married and need to make my own scrapbooks i dont know where to start for layouts as that is where im lost. I love this layout
Paper piecing is very cool! I’ve seen some stunning works of art. Yes scrapbooking can be a bit overwhelming at first. I like to find an inspiration layout and work with a paper collection. That is way easier than standing in the paper aisle at the craft store trying to select papers to work together.

What a beautiful page. Good idea to make the letters silver. They really pop. Initially I wondered about colouring a few of the flowers in the black & white paper (not all, just spotlighting a few of the flowers) and in retrospect, you were right not to.

I love this layout! Can you tell me the difference between being a Maker vs.a VIP?
I can definitely help you with that. There are benefits to both, as a Maker you receive a 25% base discount on product, access to the Maker's only Facebook page with lots of helpful and inspiring ideas, and you can see and order from the new catalogs 1 month prior to the public. There are also fun catalog launch events you can participate in virtually.
As a VIP you get a 15% discount (you earn 15% back in CTMH cash to use on future purchases) and you can get the Stamp of the month free with an order of $50 or more. Makers have to pay the $5 for the stamp of the month.

Hi Erin, I have a question about the clear labels. I do love them too, but do you wait until you have a full sheet of journaling to do before printing or do you have a way to print your journaling and then still be able to feed the remaining sheet through the printer??? I hope that makes sense. Love your channel.
Hello Karen, yes that does make sense. First I use a text box in a word document so I can control the size and shape of my journaling. I do not fill out the 8.5 x 11 sheet with multiple journaling blocks at once. As the sheet gets smaller I trim it down into smaller pieces. My printer will take a sheet all the way down to 3.5 x 5. There is some waste but very little.
Hi Erin, Thanks for sharing your story and layout. Great idea using the label shipping paper to write your journal in. Question: Do you need to use a special Microsoft words format to print those on the shipping paper?
Great question. I open up a word document, I have a Mac so it's called Pages but basically the same, and insert a text box. The text box allows me to size the journaling to fit the space on my layout. I set the printer setting to best quality and change the media to Photo Paper semi gloss. You do need to give it a moment to dry so it doesn't smear. I was running it through as plain white paper in the beginning but the words are a bit sharper now that I changed the setting.
Is this bundle with cardstock still available? I couldn’t find it but may have over looked it

That is a great question, yes they are. I looked it up and they claim to be acid free.

There is constructive criticism and there is rude. Yours fell under rude, so if you don’t mean it that way, then think about how you’d want someone talking to you.
I do appreciate constructive criticism, it can be very beneficial in helping us to learn and grow. I believe it was your use of the all caps which implies an elevated tone and your choice of the word "annoying". Having a good pace is key but whatever it may be I have learned it will be too fast for some and too slow for others. I am glad you enjoy the videos otherwise 😊
