This was before Wiley was in his lyrical prime. Always been a sick producer and artist, but as an MC, he wasn't always the great lyricist he is now. This was an era when a lot of MCs in Grime were still very basic, Kano was one of the first ones to really introduce complex flows and rhyming schemes, aside from Durtty Goodz (you should listen to him and Wiley's diss tracks to eachother).
Wiley vs the Movement (Ghetts, Scorcher, Wretch 32) should be your next Grime beef that you check, this was a years on from the clash with Kano and a time when Wiley had really stepped up his lyrical ability. 'Nothing less' and 'Nightbus Dubplate', are two of my favourite Wiley tracks and they both were a part of the Wiley vs Movement saga.

Jackbrush 1 yeah, i said one of the first ones, and really, Kano and Doogz’s rhyming schemes were way more complex than Shark and Stormin’s were.

WRONG! Wiley was an MC way before he started producing tracks and making beats. He was a seasoned Vet in this Lord of the Mics clash. Kano was up and coming and a lot younger.

When Kano switched the flow at 11.00 he probably set the standard for ten standard uk rap flow used from about 2006 onward. Before that Uk rappers who didn't do grime put on a slight American accent

A LEGENDARY clash in it's day. Kano in 2003/04 when this clash took place was at God level. He slowly declinded over the years. He was never as good as he was back then. He won this clash soundly. Wiley OVERALL is better today and has been since 2006 but in 04 Kano was SPECIAL.
