Great content. I don’t worry about the weather …every day is Saturday and everyday is FREEEEEEEE. I retired this year at 59, and I had a hard time doing nothing. Now, 8 months later I have no problem doing nothing. I exercise everyday whenever I get around to it. Your health is your wealth!

Ronnie I have watched a few of your videos now…after a long and tortuous year or so of trying to decide to pull the trigger on retirement…today I gave my employer a 90 day notice. He appreciated the way I handled the notice and the amount of notice. Your videos the last couple days lightened my spirit and helped me realize what a lot of retirement videos fail to do…your videos talk about the JOY of retirement…well I still have 90 days but I am feeling lighter and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel where the JOY lands!! Thank you!

Wow Ronnie so excited that I stumbled on to your channel! Thanks for sharing your gift 🎁 to serve us with practical knowledge for retirement! You’re making a difference I’m a recipient. I’ve been really apprehensive about taking the step to retire. Mainly because I’ve been a workaholic always fearing I will never be secure enough? I’ll be 66 in August. I’m going out in July ready or not. I’m debt free, will have a small pension, will draw 2,800 in SS. It’s time to find a life apart from work. You convinced me to finally find the confidence in living a new life that I can be passionate about and get paid to do so! Thanks Ronnie appreciate you! God Bless Larry and Marian ❤

Very good video. Thank you. I’ll just add one thing. I recently turned 70, and I’m not retired, but I cut back to part-time, 2 or 3 days per week. I hope to do this for maybe four years. It’s not just the extra income, it’s also having a bit of structure to the week, and gradually sliding into full retirement rather than jolting from full-time work to no-time work. Some people would do better to gradually phase out work rather making the full transition at one time.

I am an RN and have worked shifts that start at 430 a.m. and end at 6:00p.m. for the last 40 years. I am 61. I can now cut back to 2 days a month at my job. 17 years ago we went through Dave Ramsey "Financial Peace University". Greatest thing me and my husband ever did. My husband has always been very frugal, not me until Dave showed and taught me how to be. Since 2008 We have been debt free and saving. I wanted you to know how much your videos have guided me since I found them. I became somewhat of a spender again, even with me cutting back to only 2 days a month. Sometimes it would put us in a bind. You have definitely humbled me into not spending impulsively any longer and not discussing our retirement plans with others. Thank you so much for your wisdom. God sends you people when you don't even expect it to teach us. I appreciate all you say and always look forward to new videos from you to help us on this wonderful journey of retirement. My husband who is 59 is slowing down next year. So excited!!!! Thank you again.

Thank you for such kind words! It sounds like you & your husband are on a very similar journey as me & my wife. We're debt free also. I am 52 now and you just spoke of my heart! I am looking forward for my golden days coming early. Living here in Mumbai, India, still see the things are quite common across the world. The freedom which we loose just after the school days, take a long journey to get them back....and this journey of life, only to realise, how bunkum it was to lend it to somebody else. Thanks for your inspirational videos and great insights. I am too eagerly waiting for my last few months for the golden days, make sculptures, play violin, read books, write essays and live life in harmony with nature under the foothills of Himalayas where I am constructing my small cottage.

@@ronaldcambridge3126 Yes, I might could do this. However, almost all retirement channels on UA-cam focus on the downsides: financial challenges, mental challenges, phychological challenges, boredom, depression, regrets, mistakes, and so forth. So there's plenty of that kind of information available. Therefore, my optimistic message of the postive aspects of retirement is filling a niche which people are finding to be very encouraging. In the past (in some of my older videos) I've already done multiple talks on the downsides of retirement, such as: health regrets, retirement regrets, dangers of debt, lifestyle adjustments in retirement, fewer friends in retiement, the challenge of health insurance, etc. I even experienced a health scare this past summer, something which I have also talked about. Moving forward, I will revisit some of these topics again, but I don't want to focus too much on the negative or be a fear-monger. Retirement (for me) has been so enjoyable that all the positives greatly outweigh the negatives. Thanks for commenting and for your insights.
