As a Destiny lore nerd you definitely should do some Marathon lore ;)
Yeah, I’m pretty excited to see how Bungie does this game as I feel like extraction shooters are a bit of an underdeveloped genre. Marathon has potential to be *the* game.

Even with my usual lack of interest in BR and Extraction shooters, I gotta admit some interest in Marathon. The concept they described sounds so awesome.

@@Nifty_Noob if it feels as dynamic as Warzone with the steady tension build of Hunt Showdown, they might actually hook me. I can imagine running into people on separate contracts that may or may not collide being interesting and Bungie for all their flaws always do something different with their stuff. Maybe big events in the world map like destiny but loot isn't shared.

Can’t wait for this game. For the most part of I’ve stayed away from modern FPS pvp shooters because the shooting touch & feel just doesn’t compare with Halo. But I think I’ll dive head first into this and maybe even get a bit competitive haha.
Never played the original Marathon but I was always aware of it as halos darker, grungier predecessor. I think the overall new design is great for attracting modern gaming audiences who expect things to be bright and colourful - and I’m excited for these audiences to be introduced to Bungie’s incredible world building.
i can't wait either ! yeah man nothing compares to good ole halo 3 i mean in a broad sense i feel you though imma go full content dive / main this if its good ! deff be streaming it on my twitch, i have played the originals they are good for what they are i am happy with the direction they are going though

@@Nifty_Noob Crypto is not a scam. Bitcoin/Crypto is here to stay. A.I and Blockchains (DLT's - Digital Ledger Technologies) will be interlinked. I'll admit making triple A games isn't cheap but this age of gaming will come to an end within a decade 2 at most, loot boxes and all. Eventually a Triple A game will be created who's backbone will be a DLT, this game with be worth billions, a living breathing world, a Ready Player One scenario will happen within our lifetime, maybe not VR based but certainly a third person open world DLT game will eventually change gaming, as they said, Power to the Players. Right now games are a hobbie, imagine a game world where your gear and weapons, relics are worth something, have a monetary value, it would change the dynamics of gaming.

Androids, actually, not cyborgs. The difference may seem academic but I assure you it is an important distinction.
Destiny is dead. Long live Marathon.
An Android is basically a robot that is made to look and act like a human being with some representations taking liberties in giving them emotions. On the other hand, a cyborg is a living organism that has robotic or mechanical parts meant to extend their capabilities so with that being stated they are most deff cyborgs in the new marathon it could be very different it does seem like we will be andriods? i guess we will find out
@@Nifty_Noob The only human part of these "Runners" is the consciousness. They're like artificial avatars. Or at least, that's what Bungie alluded to in the ViDoc. The Svp't(Compilers), now those guys, those guys are your textbook Cyborgs.
