Thanks so much. Glen
These kind of projects is what keeps me coming back. So many great ideas you have.
To have this technique in your bag of blacksmithing tricks just opens up so many possibilities! Thanks for sharing Glen!
I'm sure I didn't think of it first, but that would look really amazing with temper colors in the background. 😮👍
Wow, Glen! That turned out well, nice work! I am feeling motivated. :)
Thanks for sharing and Gods blessings for you and your family
What an excellent idea. It looks really cool.
That's super cool. Thanks for the tutorial. I never would have thought of that!🤜🤛
Thanks Scott. Just something you might try.
I’ve done this before, i’ve had very good luck stamping the piece, dropping on some borax (and be careful with borax placement, everywhere there is borax the copper will flow), adding a piece of copper wire and putting it back in the forge to melt the copper.
Awesome idea, dude! Mind blown
Put a magnet in a plastic bag before picking up things from floor ,it will save you a lot of time in cleaning the magnet.
loved the inlay technique with the solid copper piece. might go somewhat deeper with the original stamp.
That is easy awesome. Thanks for the idea!
Awesome!

Always thinking outside the box. This really adds a special touch to a logo and would be great on special projects. Nice job.
That's totally awesome, Glen!
Good timing. I was thinking of doing something similar to this.
This video may motivate me to resurrect a leaf candle holder I wanted to inlay with copper in the veins but failed to get it to stick. Thanks!
thats really cool, I am trying to recreate a situation where I have coated part of our stove burner with copper, I think I was annealing some old pipe and went a bit over the top I got it hot on the ring then used a blowtorch to get the rest of it hot, so now there is a crescent moon shaped copper plating on one of my stove burners, looks great and copper coloured when its hot and sort of blue green when its cold
I have to try this melting copper into steel thing I like that a lot
Thanks for sharing
This is something I can see trying in the future. Very cool, thanks for sharing!
Interesting Glen! Thank you.
