Cross the road, crawl through a metal fence and soon you should see a junked up pick-up truck. That's how you know you're in the right place. Continue down toward the sea. Please don't get in the water if it looks even remotely rough.
After going down the ropes near the bottom, follow the rocky lava shore around to the left. That will lead you to the cave where you can swim across the channel if its not too rough. On the other side of the channel is where the puka (sea arch) is. Be mindful of the ocean. One rogue wave can wipe you out.
Waterfall hikes - 13 Crossings is decent on the upper Norhtwest side since the Road to Hana is closed for repairs ... haoleinmaui.blogspot.com/2015/02/13-crossings-trail-maui.html Little Beach, which is on the other side Big Beach's 'Red Hill' on the south endof the beach is a well known nudist spot ... theoryparker - I'm headed there in March, and never have visited Maui before. Could you be a little more specific about your "left" comment please.
