can you have the device set in Solar assist from 7am to 5pm and nothing from 5pm to 11:59PM and the fast mode from 12AM to 6AM?

Thank you for your question. Currently charging modes cannot be scheduled to change at certain times however, you are able to manually change the modes at any time during a charging session.

Hi EVSE, I had an iq solar unit installed this week, I have a byd seal when I use the solar assist function it keeps pausing every 30 seconds or so and shows on the screen suspended by evse, can you confirm why this is happening ?

How is this unit better than say the Zappi charger which is around $400 less?

      Hi Jamie,
The Ocular IQ Solar is a one-box solution! Unlike our competitors, there is no need to purchase additional modules to utilise the charger's solar capabilities. With a one-box solution, rather than additional modules, installation is easier and cheaper for our customers. Less parts also mean the equipment is more reliable.
We hope that helps! If you have any more questions please reach out to our team on 1300 406 210 or sales@evse.com.au

You said you can enter the price of electricity to work out price of consumpition - does the app allow for on time of use pricing (off peak/on peak pricing?)

you say you need a minimum excess of 8 Amps Solar Only ,why dont you refer to kW instead of Amps.My solar app refers to kW's produced not Amps?

Hi Steveewen5438, we use Amps to measure excess solar production as our CT clamps measure in Amps. 3 phase systems also require 8 amps across each phase.
