    I would say it was most likely a Masonic drinking song because not only the National Anthem, but the song My Country ‘Tis of thee, or “America,” seems to be almost a parody of “God Save The King.” I would imagine songs like these were a mockery of the British monarchy, so what better way to celebrate freedom than to mock your would be oppressors while having a few beers? 🍻 This kind of stuff is what made these people and our country so special.

    His burial was officiated by the Grand Master Shayrock and his Grand Line. Would there be a clue to this in the Grand Masters papers?
