Hi. I love your Airedales. Its my favorite breed. In fact In own a 3 months old Airedale girl puppy and an 11 months old male. The older male has none of the typical facial hair that Lucy of my Margo puppy has. At what age did your Waylon grew his present facial hair? Will it ever grow to the full Airedale hairy face. Waylon is, what is called, a Redline Airedale. He is our 12th Airedale and the first Redline we've ever had. His hair is a long as it will ever be. It was fully grown in when he was about 8 months old. When I purchased him, the breeder said he had a few that had unusually short coats and I was happy to take him. The grooming is so much easier!
