The reason they are my favorite band is because all the members are great and you are a fake fan if you care only about Matt or Adam if you are a real fan you should aprecciate the oldest members like Neil (Who is an excellent drummer btw) and Brad . Also Barry is a fucking awesome guitarist

Adam was never the band despite the fact the lyrics were amazing, but Barry and Neil and Brad were putting out just as much, if not more
Yeah OK everyone is replaceable but that band would never have happened and been successful without Adam in the first place Matt would not have inherited all those fans to play for. I think he should get credit for his own contribution to the group but that does not forfeit the 15 or so years prior Adam invested. People complaining when fans prefer Adams original rendition of the songs sound ridiculous too of course they like his version that's why they became fans in the first place.
While i still love their music, i do think adam was a better song writer and their style was better with him

I’m a recovering addict 4 years clean today and I suffer from mental health issues. This music is my sanity. Also Adam was and still is amazing especially when it comes to singing his own songs but Matt is amazing at his own so let’s give him a break

I miss Adam, but his new band Saint Asonia are basically Three Days Grace under a different name, so rather than complaining about Matt (who is doing a great job filling Adams shoes) go listen to Saint Asonia, you will not be disappointed

the opening is kinda boring, but Matt killed it..it sounds better live than in the studio...maybe not as aggressive but certainly more free flowing and Matt seems to get better with each show so cut the hate.

Adam left some pretty big shoes to fill. To be able to release an album that good that still has the 3dg vibe but still putting his own twist on it...I have mad respect for Matt. I was indirectly influenced to check out the live version of the phenomenal I am machine song by Three Days Grace after it has been growing on me after hearing it more recently on the radio, being more curious about I am machine after seeing another version of this song in my tailored online youtube reccomendations and recently enjoying a live version of another song by this group, the live version of this song is definitely exciting to hear and watch

JakesNation98 It's also transposed down a half step which can take away power, but I agree with you; his live voice is rather mediocre. I heard the radio version and I thought, "Damn that guy has a powerful voice." I was so excited to hear it live and now I'm sad.

3DG is phenomenal. I think it is to the point where other than the obvious thrill it would be to open for a band that was one of their influences, 3DG has earned the right to have bands open for THEM. They have a sound all their own just like any remarkable band, but their sound is razor sharp. I'm almost 50, and have always been open to good music. Some people 50 years and older are closed-minded and absolutely will not listen to any music made in the last 15-20 years, (and I have friends like that and it drives me nuts). Great music that sticks in your soul and bands that are honed like this are not common anymore. But good music is good music, newer and older. I will say there are alot more youth nowadays discovering the classic stuff more than most people who are older discovering amazing stuff like this. Amazing performance. Both singers have put their own stamp in this band. What a powerhouse these guys are.

As of 2023, now Matt has been in the band FOR 10 FUCKING YEARS!! I saw them in Vancouver at the queen e theatre in nov 2022. But I am only 11 so that was my first concert.

Yeah well he's not " covering " old tunes then he's doing his own thing. Brad doesn't let him sing porn star dancing or his own darkest days stuff I guess lol. Fans should be glad he can at least actually sing these guys are from a small town it's almost miraculous there was enough talent to replace one singer with another and pull it off imo.
I just got got back from there concert in Portland maine at the state theater and it was my first concert that I ever went to see them and I got to meet the band and I got there autographs on there cd to it was awesome there my favorite rock and roll band :)

okay so, there are a lotta haters, who say that Matt 'stole' Adam's role, and he is only trying to draw attention. Adam WAS amazing, i dont deny it, i love Adam's songs, but he literally LEFT his own band, to join his brothers one. He firstly played guitar in TFK, then went to his brothers band. Im not blaming Adam or anything, im just saying that Matt is working too hard to sing Adam's songs, to create new songs, to just get himself liked. I personally dont know another band which didnt end their carrier when the main vocal left. Matt is keeping this group alive and cmon, he needs appreciation.

I like both matt and adam. I like to see three days grace with matt and adam seperate. Like 2 seperate bands. Adam left some huge shoes to fit. The old songs dont fit matts voice. Wich doesnt male him a bad vocalist. Its just a diffrent voice. I do enjoy the new songs alot. And i also love the way matt sounds on them.
