Gameboy, that man showed up on the stage lying on a bed to perform this song. It was dead silent at the Rose Bowl the first time that bed raised from beneath the stage. We were literally speechless.
Pretty sure none of us breathed the entire song. The few screams I heard sounded like they were dragged from throats, that was souls leaving bodies. It was an EXPERIENCE
As RM said he was speaking some gibberish lol. V has an old jazz/r&b soul. You want to be emotional V & Jin does that. You wanna dance, 3J got you. You wanna get turnt up while trying to critical think, rap line together and individually.
Back in the day, Gospel queen Iris Stevenson said that V had a soulful voice and that people listen when he sings. She said bighit should keep him. V has a unique vocal tone but has the widest range in the group. He can hit the high notes the tenors sing but can go deep as well. Stigma showcases his range with the high notes. V IS the r&b, jazz , blues and soul singer of the group. Rm said that v is very good at being able to sing many genres and sound authentic. His layover album is a no skip, vibey slow jam album full of r&B and jazz. V wanted to use his first solo album as an introduction to him. Layover is him showing us the music he likes and it’s offers a soothing pause in your hectic day. You need to check out layover and his tiny desk and band sessions. V is a musician’s musician and it’s reflected in his music. He also plays the saxophone and piano and is learning the trumpet and violin
I always say this; I love Jimin,Jin and jungkook’s voice, love it! But there’s just something about v’s that draws me into it that makes me want to relish every word coming out of his mouth.
Yep, ten years ago during American Hustle Life. I would say V was always their secret weapon. More than just a pretty face. And nope, he's not even my bias. That's how good they are.
He couldn't form a complete sentence for five minutes and had to start the video multiple times. And what a great description of this song....dark room, cracklin' fire, hot tea, raining.....perfect.
This is exactly how BTS appeals to all ages/backgrounds/musical tastes, and precisely why ARMY always says we're never bored. We never know what to expect-only that whatever is served up, by whichever member, is going to be impeccably done.
I’m Army 64, V is my bias. When I first heard this it reminded me of The Isley Brothers, Whispers. I appreciate you hearing the nuisances of the song. V worked with a woman who teaches Gospel, she too recognized his soulful sound. You’ll love Stigma live.
Sometimes I get to play the music at our office job for my little department, and whenever I play V (Singularity, Layover), my coworkers always say that's no music for work, that's music for a bottle of whiskey and a bath with the lights dimmed 🤣🤣🤣
V is a blend of R&B, jazz, and neo-soul. I can't wait for you to learn more about his personality. His tiny desk performances for Layover 🤌🏽 perfect! He's a visual king for a reason. You should watch him live 😊. V’s vocal range will surprise you 😂. You're not ready!
For additional context, Singularity is the intro to the Love Yourself: Tear album. It is the 2nd album of the Love Yourself trilogy series, where each of the albums have themes that revolve around love and relationships. Love Yourself: Her is the beginning, which explores the first feelings and giddiness of love. Jimin’s solo song Serendipity is the intro of that album, and DNA the main track. LY: Tear is when relationships start to break down and this was the perfect song to introduce the transition to the 2nd album. The main track for this album is Fake Love, and you’ll see why masks are a common prop used for songs in this era. The last album of the trilogy is LY: Answer, where one eventually discovers that loving oneself is essential before we can love others. It starts out with JK’s Euphoria, and is peppered with members’ solo songs at different stages of love, the last of which is Jin’s Epiphany. BTS albums are all fantastic and loaded with important messages, that’s really what makes them different from other K-Pop acts, which are mostly fluff, smoke and mirrors with not enough substance. 💜💜💜 Borahae from Manila.
@g.rudi.b this comment!! BTS usually have themes for their albums so you get alot of context about lyrics from that as well, and if you see the albums in order you'll see they are related to each other kinda, especially the earlier albums. And also, BTS have had their own fictional story running through these albums in the beginning so many lyrics are based on that as well.
"Stigma" is one of his earlier songs. There are no official music videos, but you can definitely find a live performance of it which is better because u get to see his live singing individually 😊
“ V is down here with the purples and the blacks with that peanut butter tone” - yes man! I love the way you break down music and you experience it in 4-D
Luv how you went "who wrote this shit? RM???" because yes, yes he did! I, too, always end up knowing RM contributed when it throws me in for a loop and got me scrambling to dissect the lyrics further. RM is a genius lyricist indeed, be it on his own songs or others'
RM woke up from his surgery and wrote this song. Of course, it will get some shaping and additions to bring it to its fullness, but RM came up with this song. If RM gets rest, he turns into a song writing czar of music.
2 people on the credits - Charlie J. Perry (british musician) & RM. both credited for songwriting (composing & lyrics) & producing based on LY tear album physical notes - in RM's behind the album, he said Charlie's the composer (melody) while he's the lyric writer also the lyrics are written like poetry including lots of very korean terminology.
@@Yandy_xnope the three rappers are all lyricist but it IS joon's specialty. Hobi and yoongi also write lyrics on their own mixtapes and albums.. composing and producing is yoongi's specialty, and dance for hobi. And i know u know that too..
I wasn't kidding when I said I wish I forget everything about this song and then just find it again bc I still remember how my mouth stayed open for 20 min. Speechless
Тэхен! Диапазон его голоса и способность выражать эмоции и чувства в песне трудно поддаются описанию, но бесконечно впечатляют. Настояший большой художник.
RM actually write this song while thinking about V, he said V is the best member for this song, and now we know that V is the jazz beautiful deep voice that find his own unique persona in his album
Kim Taehyung(V) has a 4-octave vocal range, a lyrical baritone, and sings jazz, opera, operetta, rock, blues, soul, rap, etc. beautifully. He released the only vinyl record without filters and AI.🐯✌💜
@@Bts_fan_2025v is releasing a vinyl format version of layover as a one year anniversary treat. Preorders have been available since he announced it. It sold out several times. It was due to release on the 20th but they haven’t started shipping them yet. I think the official release date is at the beginning of October (sorry, can’t remember the date off hand).
@@lucyandecember2843 it officially released on 18th October. It gets sold out a lot but yes, it’s still available. It’s a really great way to listen to his type of album, especially as V loved vinyls and listen to them. I love listening to it in this format.
Iris Stevenson once said the same thing about his voice - "he's soulful, keep him" about V/Taehyung right back in 2014 when they were just babies recording American Hustle Life and the Dark and Wild album in a garage in LA.
Tae made 5 videos for the 5 tracks of his Layover album. They should be watched in album order as they tell a story. And then add on his Tiny Desk Korea. It is chefs kiss and your head may pop off!! You listen to BTS and they are already amazing, and THEN you hear their individual talents. They can never be replicated or replaced, it is impossible to recreate a phenomenon!💜
I totally agree with you when you said BTS is a box of Crayola. Each member is awesome and has his own color and specialty. And when you put them together, they create something uniquely beautiful like the rainbow.
I saw my bias and came running. if you like this you will love his other song STIGMA, album LAYOVER, his TINY DESK, and Le Jazz de V is a must-watch!!! All his music is outstanding please do a deep dive you'll love it😊
Now picture this song live, with him starting out sprawled out on a brass four poster bed, wearing a deep green velvet brocade lounging jacket/pajamas set. You can picture how, as a mom in the crowd at MetLife with her kids (flew 1200+ miles for that concert), I couldn't even side eye my 21 year old daughter when she screamed "Take it off" while he was dancing and acting like he was gonna remove the jacket. 😅 She was spot on, even though the lyrics are sad, not sexy. This is why I always say MetLife D1 is the best concert I've ever been to in my life. Serendipity. Singularity. Seesaw. Flying Kookie. Water cannon Hobi. Trivia:Love. And 70k people singing "I'm the one I should love" right along with Jin.
I absolutely loved that the emerald green jacket. But none can rival the mf feathery black coat that he wore at other tour stop, he looked like dark angel he LETHAL 😂 That aside, I'm so glad you had sm fun w/ your daughter at the concert! 💜
I was there! Came for day 1 and went back the next night and got a ticket in the parking lot for Day 2. 70k ppl singing ‘I’m the one I should love’. A soaring moment… an epiphany for real!! Stopped me in my tracks as I was wandering my tier to see other angles. I LOVE knowing you felt it too.
This song made me do a deep dive not only into V but BTS as a whole and the discovery was literally life changing for me. I’ve never seen a group with so much talent as seven individuals but then be amplified as a group of seven to the extent that there is absolutely no genre that these seven can not slay and dominate at this point. They are a once-in-a-lifetime experience of perfect synergy and synchronicity.
The live version of both Stigma and Singularity are next level. I’ve rewatched these videos a gazillion times and I’m still stunned every single time. Give “Stigma” live performance a try, you will be surprised at his vocal range and how high he can go. Tae is my all time bias and bias wrecker; his voice is SO unique and he can cover any range.
I have to say, as an army that’s more into the rap line… V’s album “Layover” was 100% one of my favorites. I’m in LOVE with his voice and his vibe! I can’t wait for you to listen to his album. I just love how versatile and different their solo music is. BTS is fr on a whole another level, you can never have enough with them I sweaaaaar 😮💨😮💨🫠🫠💜
Everyone has their own style, that's all that's special about bts, and it works like magic, v is the romantic one in my eyes, but we've already met his amazing voice in so many shades! Talent!
I was 5 seconds into my first listen to this song & screamed D'Angelo! You caught & recognized everything about this song that makes it such a masterpiece.
We appreciate your reaction. We value your input in their artistry, their music. I am a 59 years-old ARMY. Discovered them in 2018. They brought back the excitement I felt at the songs I used to listen to. I love them. 💜🇧🇷 They always surprise us.
I just realized how much I was missing your reactions, your comments, your laugh, your facial expression. For me you are a great person with a great personality ❤❤❤❤
Dude, experiencing Singularity at MetLife Stadium in 2019, OMG - life changing! And I was close enough to see his eyelashes! Tae was already my bias and he’s developing so well into singular world class artist. This was his turning point.
V of BTS has been widely praised for his soulful voice by many in the music industry, including prominent media outlets and music critics. One notable mention came from The Korea Times, which described V as having a "deep, soulful voice" that stands out in the group
important context for this song: they were going through tremendously hard times back then, and thinking of disbanding. they only told us later on, once things got better. this song could be about romantic love. it could also definitely be about their relationship with being famous. that shit is layered haha. it was the intro to the tear album, fake love being the main track and outro:tear the conclusion. there's a whole story there, of trying to find a way to be yourself while trying to be what others want you to be. it's one of their best albums, for many fans. Every single song on it is amazing.
still to this day i can't believe i have this song tattoed on my skin forever AND the fact that i heard him sing it LIVE !!!!!!!!!! i was dead silent the entire time, speechless. the best day of my life.
20:20 That's exactly what I said when I started getting into BTS which wasn't too long ago. You've got 7 superstars all of which are super talented, humble, charismatic, and each one of them has a very unique individual style and set of skills, but somehow they fit together perfectly and make it work. People call them the Avengers of the music industry. You never know what to expect or what you're gonna get with them. They're the most versatile artists I've ever seen and they never stop surprising me and that's why they appeal to millions of people of all age groups and with very different music tastes. Yes RM wrote this. Our genius poet/philosopher. V has the widest vocal range in the group and probably in k-pop. His deep soothing baritone vocals along with his chill R&B/ Jazz style are just perfection. Le Jazz de V, Stigma live performance, and his Tiny desk performance are absolutely a must watch
I just started exploring BTS this year and I'm so happy to see some good comments about V's talent in singing bcz since today morning all I'm seeing is a person writing worst things about V in the comments and calling him talentless, don't know singing or dancing, only good face not talent and all sort of things to him. I'm so happy to see such a good comment appreciating V and also RM😊💜
@@SS_642A lot of those comments you’re seeing are either from Kpoppies, shippers and other solos. There’s been a growth of that and their entitlement as soon as chapter 2 started, when members began their own solo careers… One fandom subculture which I discovered becoming an ARMY is the existence of these groups that do nothing but just project and project their hate. It could be coz they have some delusional idea of competition amongst members or that they’re repeating what they see and read in their circles… but there really isn’t a sensible reason for it at all. I hope your experience has been wonderful so far! (And that you stay away from those spaces). Being an ARMY is really a wild experience and mostly a good one. Just please be cautious not to get sucked into those subgroups. They’re just loud and wrong.
@@snowflowerandwhatnots ahh yeah... I see many good army too. But the toxic solos and shippers are truly horrible. And most horrible ones are the ones who pretend to be fans or pretend to love all BTS members but are actually toxic solos who leave passive aggressive comments about other members. I met some of these. One such toxic solo stan was actually jimin solo stan but I don't want any members name to be associated with these toxic Stans bcz they are not really the fans bcz rean fan would never hate the one whom their favs love. That toxic stan was just writing passive aggressive comments about v and also started arguing when I replied and instead called me a toxic V stan. That person really hates V bcz the way that person writes cryptic comments with passive aggressiveness towards V and calls him talentless and so many bad things but then portrays as if she is the ot7 and just dealing with V's toxic Stans. Similarly few days back when someone was calling jimin bad names for being in the show AYS with jk and saying things like he is seducing jk and just too bad things to mention here. When I defended him in the replies, they called me toxic jikooker.. I just started exploring BTS but These toxic shippers and toxic Stans are a real headache. I'm ok with shippers who just ship them for their bond and not for their own fantasies and delusional assumptions but the delulu ones are so toxic. I just try to ignore them as much as possible and only reply when I feel the hate is just overflowing.
I left the vodcast I was watching to click on this. 😊 Never seen Gameboyy310 stutter this much during a reaction, and I am just less than 6 mins in at this point. Am really gonna love this reaction!!! 😁😁😁
This is true. RM wrote this song special for V. Need to post that on twt to remind people. RM said it himself. RM wrote 80% of TEAR album, and it is my favorite BTS album.
Iris Stevenson (the lady Sister Act 2 was based on) said in 2014... "You have a wonderful voice. Keep him. He's soulful" Next you have to do STIGMA but make sure it's the live performance and see his vocal range... 💜 Thanks for all your hard work bringing us these videos, please feel free to talk heaps😅... I understand what you mean.... this music hits your soul... I love that you knew it was RM who wrote this😂💜so glad you are back!
One of my favorite songs by V. He brings Toni Braxton unbreakable my heart vibes with a D'Angelo vibe for sure. I'm old school r&b and I screamed and kicked my feet the day this came out.
BTS is a box of crayons! Yes!!!! IMO, each member grew and developed so much mostlu because of good leadership of RM by encouraging them to find their own color like by giving them a list of artists and songs to listen to pre-debut, to make their own songs within BTS albums, hyung line are producers too, so I think they collectively helped to shape each other to the artists they are now.. It's just great man, they are a collective. And your impressions man are on point!
Kim Taehyung aka V got an award for choreography for this song. And the only member in BTS to get one. He is the best dancer and performer, his fancams are the most viewed in history of kpop. He is known as Idol of Idols because he has inspired many idols. And what a voice and vocalist! He has the widest vocal range in BTS, but thanks to their company everyone is singing in the range they are given. He is the first baritone in kpop hence breaking the glass ceiling. Everything about Kim Taehyung is iconic. singing, dancing, performing, producer, composer, lyricist, modelling, fashion icon, a photographer, as a BA, an entertainer. He said he is on a quest to create 1000s of personas and he is going to do it all! Please watch the Singularity live and you will have an experience of a lifetime ❤🔥 And also please watch Stigma live, mind-blowing!
Iris Stevenson-McCullough, an American academic, public school teacher, and choir director, and the inspiration for the Sister Act 2 film, was in a series BTS did right after their first debut year, when they didn't get cancelled like so many groups, and went to LA to learn I guess, the original hip hop methods, called AMERICAN HUSTLE LIFE (2014). Around 18:58 Game Boyy said that "This is the *soulful* one", and Iris, in the clips available online, said to very young Taehyung, "You have a wonderful voice. Keep him, *he's soulful* . People feel something when you sing. Keep Going."
You are not ready for our Visual and Vocal King V. If you love the video you are going to go crazy for the live performance. His voice always sounds better live like melted caramel. He is a mix of R&B, jazz and neo soul. Widest vocal range of the members his high and low notes are crazy good. And then there is his growl when he is rocking.
Taehyung has the widest range out of the vocal line. He often has to sing higher than his natural range in most BTS songs. "Sweet Night" was my entry into the BTS rabbit hole. His voice is like a warm cup of hot chocolate enjoyed by a fireplace. It touches the soul. I would definitely recommend watching Singularity live. You might not survive... :) I really enjoy your reactions!! So glad you're back!
V was promoted to the dance line after his performance in Singularity (2018). Stigma is also a must - it always blows me away. It was V's first official solo in 2016. Please watch it live. I love everything he sings and he has a great growl voice too. His latest single released song is "FRI(END)S. Seriously anything by him is a treat for your ears. For his 1st solo album "Layover" he performed all of them live on different Korean & Japanese shows. Every show set/lighting is different but so cool and fits the vibe of each song. I could go on & on but I'll stop now.
V's voice is really special. A lot of people who hear him live think it's playback because he sounds so good/like the recording live. Check out his NPR Tiny desk concert *Chef's Kiss*
What i love the most about watching reaction videos, i always feel like, GOD, i fall in love with them again and again and again 😭 Mom of 3 here, never imagine even in my dream that one day i would have this kinda feeling toward a group of singers...
You never cease to amaze me!! You're the first person I've seen that actually picked up the layered high vocals🤗🫡 V has an incredible range. He goes from smooth baritone to sweet piercing high notes Amazing!!! Love that you got this!! I'm not even halfway through your video but had to comment this lol
Right! I've seen many musicians/non musicians react to BTS videos but this video is something else. His reaction is honest and sincere. The way he appreciates good music is priceless.
V’s voice is liquid velvet. His album Layover is another for curling up in your chair with a drink in your hand and going into a state of bliss or driving around in your car. I listen to it everyday while I drive. Tiny Desk is amazing. All of V’s songs are impressive
Fun fact about Taehyung is he's also an actor! Other kpop idols/trainees study his performances when learning about facial expressions, stage presence, movements, etc. He had to sit through one of their concerts because he was injured but man, that didn't stop his stage presence to ooze out in every performance. Just his facial expressions alone and the timbre of his voice made it seem like he was performing with the other members. It was a sight, there were lots of gifs and videos going around social media because he was still an amazing performer despite being seated. For Jin, he has a song produced by Coldplay called The Astronaut and a fan favorite song, Epiphany. But personally, if you want to get a closer look at his range, I suggest you listen to Yours. It's an OST for a k-drama released in 2021. Jin's the funniest and wackiest in the group but his songs are a bit different to his off-screen persona. Hope you have fun discovering him too!
I was waiting for you to get to my bias, Taehyung. He killed this Singularity performance live. And D'Angelo How Does it Feel was the 1st song I thought of. I love your reactions because you deeply analyze every detail. Edit: in American Hustle Life Iris one of their trainers fell in love with Tae's voice and said people feel something when they hear you sing.
Yea! Taehyung (V) has that rich velvety soulful voice but He also has that wide range voice to like echo, He can go high and low, And, his creamy falsetto is good to, He's such interesting artistic unique character Idol or Artist. 💜💕✌🥰😍💕💜 Translate to Korean
Wow, beautiful, ❤. "Singularity" is a song about the pain and suffering that comes from being away from the person you love. V, with his deep and emotional voice, conveys the agony and sadness that comes with missing someone and wanting to be by their side. The lyrics are full of metaphors and poetry, and express the internal struggle of someone trying to overcome the loneliness and pain of separation. Thanks you❤❤❤
Just love GameBoyy310! He definitely has an ear for outstanding Vocals, Visual! He just broke down All of Taehung hidden Talent,BTSoul! BTS a Box of Crayola’s! Thank you for recognizing talent! Some think BTS is just another K-POP group, I disagree! 🇺🇸👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Agree this is 💯 old school quiet storm vibe. I remember Midnight Love video blocks! This is still one of my favorite V songs along with Stigma. When you check out tracks from his first full solo album, Layover, which just hit its first anniversary it’s even further confirmed V is an old soul. A true student of R&B, soul and jazz. The depth and maturity of his sound, the interpretation. Phenomenal.

BTS albums are all fantastic and loaded with important messages, that’s really what makes them different from other K-Pop acts, which are mostly fluff, smoke and mirrors with not enough substance. 💜💜💜 Borahae from Manila.
THIS ! So much this! I can’t wait till he gets to this extra layer of context. Thanks for typing it all out so I don’t have to 😂 🫶💜
Thanks for this breakdown!
Please man read this!!!!!!!
Someone needs to pin this comment!!
Singularity is a masterpiece... Kim Taehyung is a legend in music industry
Техен своим пением сводит с ума.
Легкой службы, творческого вдохновения, всех благ, дорогой Техен
Singularity is such a turning point in every ARMYs journey through BTS discography
yup, this was mine!
the "ohh nooo" at 15:05 has a special fandom itself😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
"Stigma" is one of his earlier songs. There are no official music videos, but you can definitely find a live performance of it which is better because u get to see his live singing individually 😊
Yes definitely his live version really shows off his vocal range incredibly! It's a must see! V has an incredible octave range!
Love Stigma too.
Stigma is my favorite that he sings. His range 😅, talk about changing octaves
Stigma live is…no words. 🔥
BTS more channel have Stogma live with English sub
“ V is down here with the purples and the blacks with that peanut butter tone” - yes man! I love the way you break down music and you experience it in 4-D
Someone described his voice as a thick melted chocolate and this is so right
Luv how you went "who wrote this shit? RM???" because yes, yes he did!
I, too, always end up knowing RM contributed when it throws me in for a loop and got me scrambling to dissect the lyrics further.
RM is a genius lyricist indeed, be it on his own songs or others'
RM woke up from his surgery and wrote this song. Of course, it will get some shaping and additions to bring it to its fullness, but RM came up with this song. If RM gets rest, he turns into a song writing czar of music.
Joon is the only writer 😂 the other guy is a composer and producer
@@Yandy_x oww my bad! edited the original comment, thanks for that ^-^
2 people on the credits - Charlie J.
His tiny desk concert shows what he is : a music lover.
V is massive fan of jazz, r&b, soul, neo soul and that reflects in his voice
I wasn't kidding when I said I wish I forget everything about this song and then just find it again bc I still remember how my mouth stayed open for 20 min. Speechless
Тэхен! Диапазон его голоса и способность выражать эмоции и чувства в песне трудно поддаются описанию, но бесконечно впечатляют. Настояший большой художник.
Stigma is another Taehyung masterpiece. His falsetto is next level!!!
RM actually write this song while thinking about V, he said V is the best member for this song, and now we know that V is the jazz beautiful deep voice that find his own unique persona in his album
he also wrote it fresh out the hospital after surgery! when inspiration strikes you cant wait~
STRAY KIDS IS THE KING OF KPOP,,,,,,,,
RM wrote the lyrics. The song was made by a western producer.
Let us not forget one of RMs fave song is September by Earth Wind & Fire so it should come as no surprise that he can write something of this sound.
People feel something when he sings. He is indeed the soulful one in the group and as you correctly said Namjoon wrote this masterpiece.
Kim Taehyung(V) has a 4-octave vocal range, a lyrical baritone, and sings jazz, opera, operetta, rock, blues, soul, rap, etc. beautifully. He released the only vinyl record without filters and AI.🐯✌💜
Bro what vinyl record mean? Tell me
@@Bts_fan_2025v is releasing a vinyl format version of layover as a one year anniversary treat. Preorders have been available since he announced it. It sold out several times. It was due to release on the 20th but they haven’t started shipping them yet. I think the official release date is at the beginning of October (sorry, can’t remember the date off hand).
@@CloudedLeopard8588 thanks.
@@CloudedLeopard8588 damn, are they still available?
@@lucyandecember2843 it officially released on 18th October. It gets sold out a lot but yes, it’s still available. It’s a really great way to listen to his type of album, especially as V loved vinyls and listen to them. I love listening to it in this format.
Beautiful art makes your heart and breath stop for just a moment.
Iris Stevenson once said the same thing about his voice - "he's soulful, keep him" about V/Taehyung right back in 2014 when they were just babies recording American Hustle Life and the Dark and Wild album in a garage in LA.
RIP Iris Seonsaengnim 😞🖤💜
She would be so proud of him.
I wish they could meet again for real
And "people FEEL something when you sing!"
I'll never forget that moment. She really saw something in him, and I'm glad he got to work with such a legend!
The flustering, the stuttering, the speechlessness.... Yeah, welcome to V! 😂💜
The fact that V is so exceptional that no term can adequately capture his artistic abilities. He's so unique!
V KING OF STAGE IDOL OF IDOLS KING OF FANCAMS ❤❤
He is even better live. V's smooth soulful voice is absolutely breathtaking 💜
Tae's voice is a soft, warm blanket for your soul.
4 o'clock for realll
Taehyung probably has the best solo songs in k-pop. This man and his music is so good he'll leave you speechless in every track.
All his music is outstanding please do a deep dive you'll love it😊
His tiny desk performance for his Layover album is soooooo good
Yes. That’s it! soul, peanut butter, honey, warm tea, comfy blanket, fire place, that’s our Tae….lol. You got it in 1 😂
😅so true
There was a reactor a few years ago that called V's voice "dark roast" 💜
Now picture this song live, with him starting out sprawled out on a brass four poster bed, wearing a deep green velvet brocade lounging jacket/pajamas set.
You can picture how, as a mom in the crowd at MetLife with her kids (flew 1200+ miles for that concert), I couldn't even side eye my 21 year old daughter when she screamed "Take it off" while he was dancing and acting like he was gonna remove the jacket. 😅
She was spot on, even though the lyrics are sad, not sexy.
This is why I always say MetLife D1 is the best concert I've ever been to in my life. Serendipity. Singularity. Seesaw. Flying Kookie. Water cannon Hobi. Trivia:Love. And 70k people singing "I'm the one I should love" right along with Jin.
I’ve never been more jealous in my life. How I wish I knew them then.
What a great story now a precious memory and no side eye from mom 😂
Lol i was there too!!
I absolutely loved that the emerald green jacket. But none can rival the mf feathery black coat that he wore at other tour stop, he looked like dark angel he LETHAL 😂
That aside, I'm so glad you had sm fun w/ your daughter at the concert!
Word
exactly.
Talent!
Finally, we have Taehyungie 🎉!!! Layover is his latest album. You will love it ❤
I was 5 seconds into my first listen to this song & screamed D'Angelo!
I’m dying lmaoooo you were NOT ready 😭
One of the best reactors, YOU! Yep you are absolutely right, BTS is a box of crayons..
Dude, experiencing Singularity at MetLife Stadium in 2019, OMG - life changing! And I was close enough to see his eyelashes! Tae was already my bias and he’s developing so well into singular world class artist. This was his turning point.
V got Gameboyy STUTTERING 😌 I know that’s right!
V of BTS has been widely praised for his soulful voice by many in the music industry, including prominent media outlets and music critics. One notable mention came from The Korea Times, which described V as having a "deep, soulful voice" that stands out in the group
the long silence and the repeat of rewinds at the beginning of the reaction 😭😭😭 V GOT BRO SPEECHLESS AND STUTTERING 😭
important context for this song: they were going through tremendously hard times back then, and thinking of disbanding. they only told us later on, once things got better. this song could be about romantic love. it could also definitely be about their relationship with being famous. that shit is layered haha. it was the intro to the tear album, fake love being the main track and outro:tear the conclusion. there's a whole story there, of trying to find a way to be yourself while trying to be what others want you to be. it's one of their best albums, for many fans. Every single song on it is amazing.
still to this day i can't believe i have this song tattoed on my skin forever AND the fact that i heard him sing it LIVE !!!!!!!!!! i was dead silent the entire time, speechless. the best day of my life.
V whispering to my ears.. with the instruments... the production.... i love this too
20:20 That's exactly what I said when I started getting into BTS which wasn't too long ago.
I 100% agree with everything you just said hehe
Many are jealous when it comes to Tae, actually each member has antis but it seems the maknae line gets the worst treatment @@SS_642
fun fact: namjoon/RM wrote this song in just 3 hours, in a hospital right after having surgery
That not true
Namjoon wrote it especially for V one of my favourites 💜
This is true. RM wrote this song special for V. Need to post that on twt to remind people. RM said it himself. RM wrote 80% of TEAR album, and it is my favorite BTS album.
@@bbvistas7596 he wrote it . but never said he did it in 3hrs after surgery ???

BTS is a box of crayons! Yes!!!!
IMO, each member grew and developed so much mostlu because of good leadership of RM by encouraging them to find their own color like by giving them a list of artists and songs to listen to pre-debut, to make their own songs within BTS albums, hyung line are producers too, so I think they collectively helped to shape each other to the artists they are now.. It's just great man, they are a collective. And your impressions man are on point!
I agree Taehyung's voice is really unique and his love for jazz, soul and blos make this man a walking good music
Iris Stevenson LA vocal coach praised V’s voice said he had soul! It’s a nice clip from long long ago.
Around 18:58 Game Boyy said that "This is the *soulful* one",
and Iris, in the clips available online, said to very young Taehyung,
"You have a wonderful voice. Keep him, *he's soulful* . People feel something when you sing. Keep Going."
V’s Tiny Desk performance is top notch and a definite must see!
What i love the most about watching reaction videos, i always feel like, GOD, i fall in love with them again and again and again 😭
Mom of 3 here, never imagine even in my dream that one day i would have this kinda feeling toward a group of singers...

And so it begins the Taehyung V effect... Starting with a boom performance 🔥

I recommend Vs album Layover!
There are no words when any member does their thing. You just have to be in awe and just let them do them. Straight talent!

Phenomenal.
