Ah~ welcome to the BTS world, guys! It's so refreshing to see new people interested on our boys. Lemme tell you real quick: first of all BTS is south-Korean boy group conformed by 7 talented boys (3 rappers and 4 vocalists), what you just witnessed was The Man™ Kim Taehyung (stage name: V)'s masterpiece called "Singularity" a solo-intro-song that forms part of their upcoming album (which will be released on May 18th btw, and! they're gonna be performing on the BBMA's so stay tuned~). This is the beginning of their comeback (aka season where they release new music with a new concept = they may try new sounds/experiment but mostly DELIVER! these boys never disappoint, i swear!); they usually drop a solo song made by one of the 7 members, a song that will introduce their album and tease us about how's the said gonna be, kind of. This was V/Tae's turn and as you can see, boy isn't playing! neither BTS as a whole. I really can't tell you what genre they are since these boys can do ANYTHING, they're very versatile with their sound but truly more about hip hop, R&B, EDM alltogether. They mostly write/produce their own music so it's all genuine, their lyrics are about mental health, political/human issues and topics that are really important nowdays and relatable, they're not typical, they're such great role models since their story as individuals and as a group is so inspirational, they're humble and so down to earth even when they're now the most huge/known/popular kpop group/korean act in the world (so is their fandom). In conclusion: my men are worth it. If you're really interested in their music you're more than welcome, y'all won't regret it ( i promise you'll not be able to go back). If you like hip hop/rap stuff, our precious rap-line can teach ya a thing or two about it: - Mic Drop Remix FT. Steve Aoki - Cyphers pt1, 2, 3 and 4. (These masterpieces will show you their rap skills improvement through the years since all cyphers were released in different years. They don't spit, they fucking throw up some real ish). - Rap-line Mixtapes (RM by RM aka Kim Namjoon; Main rapper and leader of BTS. | Agust D by Agust D aka Suga/Min Yoongi; lead rapper - homeboy has three names since Agust D [Suga backwards and DT stands for his hometown's ex-rap group Daegu Town] is his solo stage name, Suga is his BTS' stage name and Min Yoongi his real name- | Hope World by J-Hope aka Jung Hoseok, 2nd lead rapper. The three tape's are an experience.) - Not Today - Fire - Dope - Boy meets Evil if you want some real powerful high quality vocals (of our breathtaking vocal-line, of course: Kim Seokjin aka Jin, the oldest and the one who's known for his nasally-emotional high pitched yet soothing beautiful voice and his visuals. | Park Jimin aka Jimin, The man who for starters will make you question your sexuality (even if you deny it), mellow, pure, king of high notes and angelic-like voice. | Kim Taehyung aka V, our soulful, deep ass voice [who can also hit high notes perfectly] r&b king. | And Jeon Jungkook, the youngest, misty soft voice, melodic and powerful, main vocalist, also the golden maknae who can do anything amazingly well and basically is talented af) ft the greatest beats AND rap: - Blood Sweat & Tears - Save Me - DNA - Serendipity - Just One Day and i could go on and on, but y'all must see it for yourselves. I'm out. ✌🏻 Edit: okay so this actually got noticed??? Lmao i wasn't really expecting this but i'm glad people are appreciating it! I know this is a long ass comment but welp bts doesn't summarize in just a few words, don't you think? Jsjsj anyway, thanks for all your kind words~ it means a lot!💜💜💜 Especially from fellow Armys, because tbh i was getting tired of the same vague introduction that some had say to other reactors, so ig this was my chance to -try- to do it myself??? Remember we are the image of bts so we need to do a better job than those sites and 'fans' that only spread unnecesary stuff about bangtan. So If a comment like this does help a potential fan or just give a better picture to a non-kpop/bts fan, then making an effort is not bad at all 😊💞 Also, i did edit somethings since my intellectual ass is blind apparently and confused some words abdbsj sorry, english isn't my first language so yeah. Now everything is okay~
A to the G to the U to the STDiana Geovana haiya couldn't copy and paste your comment to a new group of BTS reactors, anyway you might want to post your comment to jwill nation reactors, thanks :)
Hi the solo artist here is V (Kim Taehyung) a vocalist of BTS which is composed of 7 members. This is his first comeback solo. It is a trailer for their new album called "Love Yourself:Tear". They will do their comeback stage at BBMA. The choreography was done by Keone Madrid & back up dancers are Keone madrid's friends. You can see the diversity in it. BTS videos are mostly done by Lumpens & are very different from typical kpop groups coz they always incorporate art & literature in their videos. Here it had hint of narcissus & ophelia theme. The storyline leads you back to their long storyline way back to their I Need U (youth series) lots of theories so i suggest watching I need u-Prologue & then run before delving into other shortfilms and music videos. English subtitles are always available in BTS official music videos just click CC for english sub. Hope to see you react to more BTS.
BTS has always had intro and outros in their albums, so they typically release their intro as a teaser for the whole album before the actual release. singularity surprised me and a lot of other people bc it's a full length song. their intros are normally around the 2 min mark bc they are just intros not full songs. Tae really blew me away with this and I can't wait to hear the full album Love Yourself: Tear!!
Its Kim Taehyung and his stage name V. Its their comeback trailer for their upcoming album on 18th. So its only his solo.. His voice so deep but he can reach high note too.. Check his solo Stigma for his high note.. And please check BTS song too..
GlassThatTaeDrinkDuringEllenShow Same. Actually BTS change my life. I've been hate kpop. But BTS are totally different I mean definitely another level. Just check their other music. Especially Lyrics.
GlassThatTaeDrinkDuringEllenShow Okay I just need to say this so don’t attack me. There are some new BTS reaction channels not naming names..cough trackpop...who reacted to so much of one specific member right off the jump and now, months later, they still don’t know much about a few members and typically focus on one the most, if they don’t know whose singing they assume it’s him, if they can’t tell who is dancing or doing a certain part they assume it’s him, they comment on him so many times every video and it’s become clear that they don’t focus on other members the same. I think the best way for these reactors to get to know them is to request other members projects before requesting back to back songs/videos with 1 member. That way it ensures that they’re getting to learn everyone in the group before basing their entire assumption of the group off 1 member. Maybe we should all request for them to react to more BTS stuff as a whole or one of the other 6 members next to prevent this kind of problem.
That's true to an extent @Nicky but it's all based on what ARMY are suggesting, whatever is the most liked lmao, so really it's on us on who they react to anymore.
Nicky DT yeahh.. I'm sorry if i make mistake 😢 but i have my way to make people know about bts. I mean there is so much reactor and they have different taste and perception about music or the singer. So when i first watch this reaction i assume they love song like singularity so i ask them to react to stigma because of the vibe. So when they react to stigma i will coming back and tell them the theory and ask them to react other solo and other song as a whole group. But i'm sorry if i make mistake 😢 sorry for my english too if i cant explain what i mean right now.. And because i know army will coming here and suggest different bts song so i only suggest them to react stigma who have same vibe as singularity because they seem like love the beat in singularity.. Hehehe... I'm sorry 😢
the official music videos from BTS' UA-cam channel do not get strikes bc their company encourages reaction videos as a type of self marketing. you really need to be careful with live performances though!
I not sure, but I think it was because War of Hormone wasn't on bighits channel (for what reason I don't know) and it was on the 1thek channel which gives strikes... but.... Ibighit have recently put War of Hormone back on, so I am hoping that reactors can now react to it, mainly because it is one of my favourites :D:D *fingers crossed*
the leader of the group RM wrote the lyrics and produced the song. it is so beautiful and meaningful. you can see the lyrics by turning the cc on. the lyrics are inspired by the Greek myth of Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection and died because of it.
my bad, RM did not produce the song. RM wrote the lyrics but it was produced by Charlie J. Perry. Sorry for my mistake I should've checked before rushing to write a comment. sorry. thank you +anne lushg for correcting me :)
comebacks in kpop are very different than in western music. a comeback is basically when an artist or a group gear up for a new release mostly for albums. it means there's an intense period of promotion through interviews, performances etc. since it is kicked up a notch from "normal" promotions for the group it is described as a "comeback" like a comeback into the eye of the general public! :)
This is a bit different than what their usual sound is because it's a solo by V and he is heavily influenced by jazz, neo-soul and R&B. The group works with several genres of music, but they're mostly influenced by hip hop /EDM/r&b as a whole. They also do ballads and pop. I recommended you guys watch BTS - Fire & BTS - MIC DROP remix next where you can see the entire group and for a more hyped sound that they're known for. They're a very dance-centric & rap group so I'm sure you will enjoy their dancing. In my opinion, they're very different than many of the other kpop groups that are out today as they are heavily involved in producing their own melodies & lyrics. They also change up their concept every album to keep fans and the public interested. A lot of kpop groups don't have that kind of freedom. This song (singularity) is just an intro song to set the mood for their new album (Love Yourself) that's going to drop soon, which is why it's titled "comeback trailer". They were on a short hiatus before this.
Guys! BTS will have a comeback stage at the BBMAs! Just wanted to let you know, because I'm sure It'll be amazing. Check out their live stages on MAMA and you will see what I am talking about 😉 Lastly I can't wait to see your another reaction to BTS 😁
BTS Comeback trailer= BTS intro album Its tradition for BTS for only one member done the comeback trailer for their album. They take turn to who do the intro based on their concept of album. This time it was V. He is known for love with jazz and r&b. This song fit him so well with his style and voice. To get to know BTS as a whole, I suggest for mic drop remix, not today, dna, blood sweat and tears, etc. They are known as most popular kpop group around the world at the moment. They gonna drop their full album on 18may and set to perform their title track at billboard music award 2018 this 20may. They are currently taking over the world.
I know!! I felt the same when I accidentally found BTS a year ago by agreeing to go to their concert w my niece...I was not prepared for the level of energy & artistry, I kept asking her “THIS is kpop?!” But no, THIS is BTS:) The depth to which I have come to love their music & dancing took me totally by surprise, but these 7 men are the real deal, their versatility, talent & authenticity is something very special, plus thru their lyrics they talk about social issues/real world concerns beyond the usual pop music fare (that includes any kind of pop.) I am in love w V’s (Taehyung’s) “Singularity” mv... his voice kills me💜Enjoy your fall into BTS
oh and I'm so sorry for spamming the comment section but the intros are done solo by one of the members& they always change whose turn it is. so the rest of bts sat out from singing/ appearing in the video but they helped with the production& lyrics of the song. you can find the other intros/ trailers on UA-cam on their official account and I would love for you to react to them bc they're all crazy good for example "Serendipity" by Jimin or "Boy meets Evil" by Jhope (these 2 are shorter but no less amazing)
Great reaction you guys!! That's one of the members of BTS.. Those were his backup dancers his name is Kim Tae-Hyung stage name "V" .. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the video .. Please check out more BTS videos !! 😊
Thank u for your reaction. Actually BTS have 7 member, 3 rap line and 4 vocal line. And each member have solo song in their previous Album (Wings album) and also each rap line has a mixtape. Every their Album have comeback trailer which is will be their intro song. For next time, pls react another BTS MV cz their music, vocal, dance and visual was absolutely insane. Don't forget to turn on the cc so u can understand the lyric. This song ( Singularity ) is the intro for their new album LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear by one of BTS member named V (real name Kim Taehyung). The album will be release on May 18th soon. And just for the information, BTS will have comeback stage at 2018 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 20th. They also nominated for Top Social Artist in this awards for 2 years in row and last year in May 2017 they won it. Give support for BTS and BTS ARMY will be appreciate that. Thank u ❤
BTS has wide range musicality.. Rnb, jazz, rap, pop, edm, rock anything you name it. They wrote and produce they on music. And they bring connecting concept from debute till now... They has funny personality, they have games, makes cartoon caracter (bt21), reality show and so much more... They feeding their fans so well with an amazing content you never saw before
The song was produced by British composer Charlie J. Perry, who also produced for Jorja Smith. The lyrics were written by RM (the leader of BTS) and the choreography was by Keone Madrid (Justin Bieber - Love Yourself). Before BTS drops an album, since they don't drop a single here and there before the release to build up hype like Western singers, they drop a music video a few weeks before the release and the song they drop it's ALWAYS the album intro track, in this case is "Singularity", and the intros are usually done by only one of the members, in this case V (His real name is Taehyung), their album drops on May 18th and that's when their lead single and its music video will be released. BTS are storytellers, they been showing a story in their music videos since 2015, and those music videos are complemented with acted videos, written notes and loooots on symbolism and they reference a lot on literature in the story :)
Guys, I think the others have said it all. Loved your reaction, I'm going to check out your other stuff (I'm especially excited about the original music) after I put that comment up but you should know that official MVs have english subtitles so next time, please remember to put them on! Would love to hear if you found out which song/artist it reminded you of (at the beginning)? Thanks for checking the song out. Hope you'll check out their album coming out the 18th as well, I wanna see if you liked it as well as this song or not.
"I think bts just changed my life" same dude, same. Once you fall down the bts hole, there's no turning back. I didn't expect to become a super fan of theirs when I first discovered them, but now these boys have me whipped (especially Taehyung, the singer in this video). And the reason it sounds so much like American R&B is because bts is heavily influenced by American hip hop, rap and R&B, but they make it their own. Taehyung is especially known in the group for his love of R&B, and many fans recognize how suited his voice is to the genre because of his deep, soulful tone. And even though the song has a very sensual sound to it, the meaning of the lyrics is actually far from that. I'm sure others in the comments have explained that he is referencing the Greek myth of Narcissus, but it's also important to note that there is an overarching storyline that spans bts' discography. Each album they produce contributes to that storyline, and it is so intricate and complicated that there are theories as long as novels that exist about it. You can even watch 2-hour long videos explaining these theories on youtube if you're interested. Just keep that in mind if you ever see repeating patterns or unique visuals that have you confused in their music videos, or if you're not really understanding the meaning of the lyrics, it's most likely because you just don't know the whole story yet. Just to give you a quick summary, the storyline follows the fictional lives of each of the 7 members. Remember, this is all fiction, like a movie or a book. Each boy faces a specific struggle (addiction, murder, depression, etc.) and the story follows their conflicts and how they try to overcome them together. There's is yet another layer to the story where the members symbolically represent higher powers (God, the devil, sin itself, etc.) that govern what happens to their human selves. Basically, you should think of bts as Marvel Studios. Each member has their own storyline (like each avenger has their own movie) but they also come together to form a cohesive group where there storylines intertwine (like the group avenger movies). Specific videos to watch that contribute to this storyline are: - Blood, Sweat, and Tears -I Need U (19+ version) -Run -Boy Meets Evil -Highlight Reels (not music videos, simply videos like short films that further the storyline) -Wings short films (1 for each member) It also helps if your are well-read because they make tons of references to books like Demian, the Bible, The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas, The Magic Shop, and much more. 'Singularity' itself made references to the Greek myth of Narcissus and Hamlet by Shakespeare, and knowing this helps you understand the song and the video far more. I know it's confusing at first, but once you dive into it, it will change your life. You will never think of music or storytelling the same way. Basically, if you decide to continue to react to BTS, you're in for a real treat. They have so much interesting, thought-provoking content that it's basically the jackpot for reactors since there's so much to dissect and talk about. This is what sets bts apart from any musicians in the industry today.
the choreographer is keone madrid.. The dancers: ade willis bong buno kevin nguyen fabian tucker actually brian puspos did the choreo for another song from their upcoming album “Love Yourself : Tear” Thank you for this..🙏 please do more BTS reaction and review.. they are amazing artists.. 😉
As I'm Korean UA-camr, ❤ I'm so thankful to the glabal fans all over the world. Its so honor for Korean that we go so many fans in the different countries. As I'm Korean UA-camr who is former Korean Gangster, i feel so much thankful.... thx...!!
BTS will continue to surprise you. And there is soooooo much stuff they've already released. Don't forget to turn on subtitles, or watch lyric videos/look up translations, cause BTS have something to say . Thanks for reaction!
BTS is a group that explores many genres. They do RnB, Ballads, Hip Hop, Pop, EDM and so much more. You can't really confine them to the Kpop genre, but they are Korean artists. And unlike other kpop groups, BTS is given a lot of artistic freedom and are able to express themselves through their music. That's why this fandom puts a lot of emphasis in reading the lyrics, especially since every BTS mv has English subtitles available. BTS is also infamous for their subtle story telling through their music videos. Hence, all their mvs are heavily ridden with symbolisms and hints that we ARMYs dig through trying to formulate theories. Honestly some of us feel like we're undergoing training to become FBI agents at this point lmao XD
*The song is quite metaphorical and is related to the story behind his music videos. Especially in the depths of darkness, the modest choreography along with a white mask that appears in the middle of the image expresses the act of lying to lie in order to obtain love. The cracked ice, which appears several times in the video, represents the moment when it realizes that it is a false act. The song does not necessarily refer to the love between a couple in love as it can be between a man and a woman, it talks about love and lies in life, in general. The flower that is seen in video is "Smeraldo", its meaning is "I can not tell the truth" or "the truth that I can not say".* BTS is a group that is characterized by leaving messages through their songs and they are very creative and artistic when it comes to making music videos. Many times these little details are not explained by BTS or its agency, Big Hit, but they are discovered by ARMY (BTS fans). The "comeback trailers" I think only BTS does, that is, there are no other kpop groups that do it. This would be like a trailer for the concept of the next album, which by the way will officially premiere this May 18 with at least the publication of a music video of a song with which they will promote the new album. In case you do not know, this year BTS will make his comeback stage (his first live presentation of his new song) in the BBMAs. In addition they will go to this award ceremony as nominees for the second consecutive year in the category "Top Social Artist", last year they won.
BTS ( BANGTAN Boys) mean Bulletproof Boys Scout. Their different from another K-pop group. Their write & produce their own song. Every album have different a concept. Their song have story line mostly from their real live before and after debut. Each MV was related. Literally they're amazing.. Members Rap lines: RM (Kim Namjoon), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), Vocal lines: Jin (Kim Seokjin), Jimin (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung), Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook).
You should check out Fire, Not Today, Blood Sweat and Tears, DNA and you know rest of the songs by BTS. They are so amazing everyone! Their dancing is out of this world and the songs are amazing. BTS is a group of 7 members. 3 rappers (RM, Suga and J-Hope) and 4 singers (Jungkook, V, Jimin and Jin). J-Hope and Jimin are their Main Dancers, meaning their best dancers. They have different style of dancing, with Jimin coming from a contemporary and popping background and J-hope coming from a Hip-Hop background. J-Hope also have just come out with a mixtape, you should check it out. Jungkook and V are their Lead Dancers. V (The one you saw in this video) has just been "upgraded" to it. Those four is the Dance Line. But that doesn't mean the rest isn't amazing dancers. The group as a whole is just amazing together!
it was choreographed by Keone Madrid. Imagine it's just 1 of the 7 members of BTS... BTS rarely has girls on their videos...yah catch BTS fire, spring day or dope
Thank you for being interested in learning about this group. Production quality is insane. Camera work is an integral part of the high quality of their MV's.
👌 You have no idea... Not one of their 14 albums discocraphy's songs resembles one another. Each song has a different sound, a different genre, a different vibe. We never get bored. Multitalented artists. A never ending discovery.
Thank you for giving BTS a chance. You will rarely see girls in BTS’ music videos. Most Korean companies do this to not distract from the overall concept of the song/video and keep attention on the artist(s). As other people have said BTS experiment a lot with their sound so will find their music spans lots of genres, they sometime mash up several in one song! One of the interpretations of this song/video is about masking your true self in order to be liked/loved by other people, losing yourself in the process, hence the masks. BTS discography started a complex storyline in 2015 (maybe even before) that continues til today. So there will be some elements in the music video that point to previous videos. If you start seeing theory comments around don’t get too confused. Check out the ibighit channel for more music.
In this case, one can consider the "girl" as the composer's inner struggle, conflict and love for himself and finding out who he really is. RM, Kim Namjoon wrote and produced this song. This song is a part of their new album coming out on May 18th. Love Yourself, Tear. Which is their second album from their Love Yourself series. Also they have a Unicef Campaign, to #EndViolence :)
I love your reactions guys...i believe my fam already give you infos about this video..its just a cb trailer..an intro to the new album. BTS is known for their choreo, connecting theory heavy mvs, and their lyrics. And i heard you mentioned Brian Puspos..actually Brian choreographed one of their song Butterfly..also one of the member Jimin covers a Brian Puspos choreo..and they nailed it. Brian tweeted lately that he choreographed one of their latest song..and we still dnt know what song is it. But this choreo is done by Keone Madrid...
BTS is a 7 member group. This song was a solo by V, singer and dancer. Comeback refers to their dropping of their new album 18 May, and their comeback stage is at the Billboard Music Awards stage. Trailer refers to a snippet of what the new album might entail. Tear is the name of the new album Singularity is the name of this song and music video. The 4 dancing behind V are US backup dancers but each member of BTS are amazing dancers in their own right RM, Suga, JHope are the rappers and main producers, writers, and composers of the group. V, Jimin, Jin and Jungkook are singers but also write songs and Jungkook has recently earned keys to his own studio room. Jimin was a top dancer at a contemporary dance school while JHope was a successful underground street dancer known for his popping dance style. They’re known for writing lyrics with the Korean language so their songs have always had a Korean feel where as most (not all) kpop gets lyrics from Western song writers. I highly recommend listening to Mic Drop Remix, written by RM and inspired by Obama’s mic drop at the Correspondent’s Dinner. Also please switch on the Close Captions when viewing as all their MV’s have English subtitles on the official BigHit channel. Not on their channel but on lyrics only channels is their Cypher 3 and Cypher 4 rap songs by the three rappers of the group.
ARMY is the name of the fandom. We are HUGE (numerous millions), and we are very vocal, and we are very protective of the guys. We are from almost every country in the world, we come from many ethnicities, religions, and both sexes. We range in age from very young teen to older generation (I am almost 60). If you ever have a question, just ask. Someone will know the answer. I really enjoyed your reaction. Watch out for the new comeback on the 18th. BTS is going to set records!
the one who's singing is called V, one of the members of BTS. this is sound is actually quite different from what BTS as a group usually have, but it really represents V musically and suits him very well :) thank you for the reaction!
you know what's refreshing in this reaction video? they actually listened to his voice. most reaction videos focused on Tae's visual and/or the music video.
Yeah! I was waiting for this reaction !😊😊I am so happy they are realising a new album on may 18 that's why it's "call come back trailer".Please you need to react to the whole group Mic drop remix ft Steve Aoki mv it's lit! And all bts mv have english sub.
Was this your first BTS reaction? If it is plz keep reacting to them cuz y'all r one of the few reactors I can actually tolerate, you're not annoying. They have many other more songs an MVs. If you like rap, listen to their Cyphers they're amazing
Thank you for reacting to V (kim tae hyung) singularity.. As theylle be performing on BBMA.this may 20.we appreciate this.. Hope you could do more reactions to BTS.
keone madrid actually choreographed this one! the backup dancers are his pals. brian puspos choreographed another one of their songs (which hasnt been revelaed yet - so it might be their title track which comes out this friday!) a "comeback" basically means a new musical release in korea. for BTS, every time they do a "comeback" with a new album, they release a "Comeback Trailer" which is the intro track for the new album (which is always sung by only one out of the seven members).
Choreography was made by Keone Madrid, Brian Puspos said on twitter he did another one for the comeback tho. btw comeback in kpop means when the artist is coming out,/coming back with a new concept/album/music videos.
Great reaction! I will probably watch more. As many have said--this is only one BTS member. But BTS is an interesting group musically and different from a lot of other groups. Their music is amazing and they are willing to take on any genre and do it justice. When you add in the amazing dancing, great vocals, meaningful lyrics and the art direction in their videos....Mind.Blown! Here--we have what sounds like a soulful and sexy R&B jam--enjoyable just as it is. I would groove to this all day. What makes it great is that there is so more. When when you examine the MV & the lyrics you realize the whole thing is quite dark (sad even)--hence the tear at the end. Both the video and the song references the story of Narcissus, which stands in as a metaphor for RM's own struggle with being an idol/celebrity/fame. To explore this, RM chooses V--the BTS member with the most soulful voice, who also loves jazz and R&B--so the genre suits him well. He is also the member who well known for the beauty of his face--so he call pull off the Narcissus concept. Everything seems so intentional. It's such a brilliant song and MV on so many levels. You could literally study this video and song in film school and write an essay on it. This is why I stan BTS. BTW--Tae was brilliant in this one. I think the album will be fire!
*This is not the final Music video there's only 1 member in BTS in this the new music video with the other 6 members will be released on May 19th btw those were just back up dancers*
I love your opinions and point of views. I like you all have different points and not just agree with each other. Welcome to the army! Had my attention in the beginning knowing your a Hero Academia fan. Commenting on their dance, music, video production and not just the artist themselves. Awesome!
Please also react to BTS’ “STIGMA” (LIVE VERSION), also by “V” (Kim Taehyung), the soloist you appreciated in the “SINGULARITY” mv. You’ll get to experience some of V’s high-note riffs...Thanx!!!
BTS is a seven-member group that debuted in 2013. In kpop, they usually designate the members into certain roles. So in BTS, there are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Further, of those 7, 3 are considered to be part of the dance line. BTS was one of the first, if not the first to include Eng CC on their videos. Almost every one of their mvs has ENG cc. Also, BTS reactions are actually the least likely to get copyright strike. BigHit Ent does not do that. However, if you react to a live performance, then the tv company will get after you or if you react to content on Naver through vlive or something like that you can expect problems, as well as their Japanese stuff-but that is because of Japanese law, not BigHit. If you react to anything from iBigHit youtube channel or BANGTANTV youtube channel or fanmade lyric videos then you should be fine. So BTS likes to do album trilogies. They started their career with their school trilogy, then their most beautiful moment in life (HYYH) trilogy, then the Wings series, and now we are on the Love Yourself series. Their last album was called Love Yourself Her and they have an album coming out on May 18th called Love Yourself Tear. Before each album is released, BTS puts out an mv of their intro track of the album-they make albums that have an intro, an outro, and skit, like the typical hip-hop album format as they started as a very hip-hop heavy group and are still greatly influenced by it. So, every album or mini-album has one of these mvs and they are always done by 1 single member. The first albums, all the intros were either done by RM (leader of the group and main rapper) or Suga (lead rapper). Then, starting with their WINGS album, J-HOPE (main dancer, rapper) did the intro. Then, for their last album, Jimin (main dancer and main vocalist) did the intro. So, this time we have V (vocalist) doing the intro. Even though the members are given titles of the roles they play in the group, all seven of them can do pretty much everything. They compose, write, produce their own music. The songs are based on their experiences or the experiences of those close to them. Also, they don't just put out original music. They do song and dance covers, variety type of shows, behind the scenes content, and most recently (it finished yesterday but is still able to be watched) they did a UA-cam Red docuseries that followed them on their world tour last year. You can sign up for a free trial of UA-cam Red and watch all 8 episodes. Also, yes, Keone Madrid choreographed this song and has choreographed many of their mvs. Also, you might be familiar with James Reynolds? He has been a producer/engineer for them since their beginning. Since you are a professional yourself, I would suggest that you check them out starting from the beginning with their 2 Cool 3 Skool album and work your way forward to see their development and how they have evolved as artists. You can find out a great deal about them on their Wikipedia page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BTS_(band). Also, we are a huge fanbase know as ARMY. We love to talk about anything BTS related so please feel free to ask anything you want to know. Sorry for writing a dissertation. Thanks for the reaction. Hope to see many more of BTS. What’s amazing about this kpop band BTS is that they dont just stay as a “kpop group” they add and use different genres. They create their own music through different inspirations and stories- including their own. That’s why most songs of theirs are really personal. They also dance, rap, and are all really humble and kind human beings who have worked their way up for about 5 years to support their dreams. They also write, compose and produce their songs which makes it even more beautiful. They are artists. If you havent read articles about them yet REAL ARMYS LOVE THEM ALL BC OF THEIR MUSIC. THE LOOKS ARE JUST A BONUS. Their music composes of diff topics like the politics, school system, women empowerment and other issue.
The lyrics are really amazing, you should try again with CC turned on. The other people are not BTS, they are just backup dancers. Kim Taehyung/ also known by the stage name V is the vocalist for this video. He was also named #1 Most Handsome Face of 2017 in TC Candlers 100 most handsome faces of 2017 list. He has a voice perfect for this type of song and has another song called Stigma under BTS album Wings. You should check that one out as well. BTS are amazing dancers and they have deep and meaningful songs as well as spectacular music videos. The term Comeback means they are about to release a new album, meaning they are making a comeback. Also, there are theories about the music video, such as the theme being Fake Love. So the masks represent having to wear a mask and being someone else to be loved, the black tear at the end is also said to represent the death of ones self or a loved ones.
Thanks for reacting to BTS! Their music is interesting, hope you get to see more of their work - which is kinda dynamic as they venture through several genre. Its like being a handed a gift, a surprise at that, every comeback (album release), you don't know what you'll get, yet it always turn out to be good! One of the members recently said that they are lucky, but they work hard for that luck! And I can't agree more, as you can see it in their work. Each of the members are different, hope you discover each of their strengths both in music and character..... And eventually see their synergy - its GREAT! I'll subscribe, I like how open you are to checking out other artists. I appreciate if you can react to other BTS MV: - *Micdrop* , - *Spring Day* , - *Not Today* , - *Blood Sweat and Tears* , - *Fire*, - *Save Me* as starters, and check out member's music videos as well: - RM's *JOKE* MV and *CHANGE* ft Wale, - Suga's *AUGUST D* MV, - Jimin's *SERENDITY* MV, - Jhope's *DAYDREAM* MV, - Jins *AWAKE* MV, - V's *STIGMA* MV, - JK's *BEGIN* MV and several song covers. By the way, their dancing is awesome you might wanna check their *dance practice videos* too. A lot of their choregraphies were done by *Keone Madrid* . You can check them thru their official channels: *youtube/ibighit* *youtube/bangtantv*
Just sharing how to break the MV title down: BTS (group) Love Yourself Tear (name of new album dropping May 18) Singularity (song name) Comeback Trailer (first song to get MV before album is released). I subscribed because I like your open mindedness and obvious respect for music! Looking forward to seeing what you think of BTS when the whole group performs.
We ARMYs(a name of BTS's fandom) weren't expecting that either..lol To me 'MIC Drop' is the better song to describe a basic vibe of BTS. This MV will be an intro of their new album coming up May 18th. It only has one member (V) out of 7. So, check out 'MIC drop' to see all the members of BTS, please~:) AND, all the official MVs of BTS has Eng CC. ALSO, BTS official MVs do NOT copyright for reaction videos~ Happy ride~
Thank you for reacting to the kings! :) All of their videos have CC, also their new album and music video are dropping on the 18th of this month. Really soon! We appreciate the respect and nice comments, you guys seem chill.
Thank you for reacting to BTS! I swear, you will mark this day in your calendars as the day you discovered greatness. You are not prepared for everything you're about to discover about this incredibly talented septet. Prepare to have your lives changed!
RM the group leader also says that music transcends languages all the time. One of BTS's goals is to tell the whole world what they have to say, so their lyrics are a heavy part of their fame. Thank you so much that u reacted to it, yall have experience as artists yourselves so I appreciate it even more. Take your time in discovering them. Much love.
There was just one member in this, and it got u going!!!!....wait till u watch Micdrop remix with Steve Aoki... Please react to it and u will love them even more P/s...new subscriber here
V has the widest vocal range, he can go reaaaaally low, to really high. That’s why I love his voice and he’s my bias💜 It would be great if you check Stigma by him
dont worry dude *BRIAN PUSPOS IS CHOREOGRAPHING ANOTHER TRACK FROM THE UPCOMING ALBUM LOVE YOURSELF TEAR COMING ON 5/18* and im so sorry for typing this like this but *BTS HAS SUBTITLES ON EVERY OFFICIAL MVS*. I loved your reactions so much. thank u for liking the music, hoping to see you falling for bts more bcs they sure have so many charms if youd like to explore💜
Yes bts often won’t use girls in their videos because they want the listener to interpret the song or music video the way that they feel is true to them. That’s the literal definition of art.
0# Every BTS video has english subtitles, just click on the CC bar button. 1# This video was a Trailer/Intro for their comeback album called (Love Yourself 轉 Tear) - song called 'Singularity' by "V" / Taehyung (real name). 2# BTS are a Korean group, they are the most popular artists in the world right now. (they won Billboard Top Social Artist 2017 & gonna perform there @ May 20th 2018 + performed at American Music Awards 2017)
Tell you what, this is just one (1) member of a _seven_ member group. Imagine you thinking this is lit and fire (and it is, damn) but wait 'til you see seven of them all in one stage producing the kind of music and creating a performance most artists can only ever dream of. This 1/7 of the talent that you see from BTS and it's already better than everyone in the industry. All of them combined? You do the math. _Anyway_ I love this reaction so much and I am anticipating more BTS content from you guys. There might be cultural differences but you are the first reactors out of the entirety in UA-cam to say "I forgot I even don't know what they're saying." and that's admirable because then I know you enjoy the music for the _music_ and not because you want to be able to understand it for you to enjoy it. That's vital (the relation of you with the message) but sometimes you can enjoy music for what it is.
You just earned a subscriber cause I’m hoping you’ll do more BTS reacts! And I’ll be checking out your original songs too cause just from hearing you repeat after Tae I can tell you have an amazing voice. Great job guys!
OMG BTS! ❤️ id love to see you guys react to their old albums , including the songs on the most recent one (Love Yourself: HER) AND react to the NEW upcoming album released on May 18! New subscriber!
BTS has 3 rappers, 4 vocalists. Started out in 2013 as a hiphop group but now does it all, no 2 MV's are alike. They have amazing range, vocal skills, dancing and choreography, sing live, compose and produce a lot of their own music and are Kings. They also came from nothing and worked soooooo hard to be the Titans they are now.
Brian Puspos has worked with BTS and he even tweeted he worked on another choreo for them for this upcoming album. Keone Madrid did the choreo for Singularity along with several other songs. Also a "comeback" in Kpop means the artist is releasing a new album/single. So they are "coming back" with new MVs, new songs, new concepts, etc. BTS new album, Love Yourself: Tear drops May 18th so does the MV for their title track. Also they will perform at the Billboard awards May 20th. ✌️
"Love Yourself" is the trilogy of albums BTS are in right now (yeah they do trilogies) and the over all theme. Other trilogy themes were Youth and The Most Beautiful Moment in Life. "Tear is the name of the specific album that's about to drop on May 18. "Singularity " is the name of the song. And "comeback trailer" just describes what the video is. Every time an artists drops a new music video, starts performing it on televised music shows and promoting it on other platforms( after being on brake to prepare the new music) it's called a comeback. So the trailer is just to hype people up. This comeback trailer is pretty much a music video, but not all are. It's just because that's BTS. Also there's probably going to be a 30 second trailer for the new MV, which is pretty standard throughout Kpop. BTS also make short films
If you like hip hop/rap stuff, our precious rap-line can teach ya a thing or two about it:
- Mic Drop Remix FT. Steve Aoki
- Cyphers pt1, 2, 3 and 4.
The three tape's are an experience.)
- Not Today
- Fire
- Dope
- Boy meets Evil
if you want some real powerful high quality vocals (of our breathtaking vocal-line, of course: Kim Seokjin aka Jin, the oldest and the one who's known for his nasally-emotional high pitched yet soothing beautiful voice and his visuals. | And Jeon Jungkook, the youngest, misty soft voice, melodic and powerful, main vocalist, also the golden maknae who can do anything amazingly well and basically is talented af) ft the greatest beats AND rap:
- Blood Sweat & Tears
- Save Me
- DNA
- Serendipity
- Just One Day
and i could go on and on, but y'all must see it for yourselves. I'm out. ✌🏻
Edit: okay so this actually got noticed??? So If a comment like this does help a potential fan or just give a better picture to a non-kpop/bts fan, then making an effort is not bad at all 😊💞
Also, i did edit somethings since my intellectual ass is blind apparently and confused some words abdbsj sorry, english isn't my first language so yeah. Now everything is okay~
THIS! Thanks for promoting our boy so well!!
Yaas I loved your comment!!! Haha once your come into the BTS there is no turning back!! 😂😂👍👍
Sbdbdk Aw, thank you! 😊 it's what the boys deserve and what the outsiders need to know 💞
A to the G to the U to the STDiana Geovana haiya couldn't copy and paste your comment to a new group of BTS reactors, anyway you might want to post your comment to jwill nation reactors, thanks :)
❤️❤️
Neshiabel ARMY nice info
There is subtitles in each bts music videos you should turn on the Cc
yup! i keep questioning why didn't they do that!
Some of the reaction channel is clueless about cc and i realy wonder why ?
Nur Laili Khairina me too
I think bc it's not common. Only bts put subtile in their mv
Hanh Nguyen maybe
house of cards is another r&b track you should try
R AaF this isn’t even rnb, its jazz but ok
Pawan Bhutra who said they were referring to the song, though? Could be referring to anything.
It's a combination of genres really. It has elements of both.
Pawan Bhutra This isn’t pure Jazz, it has a lot of R&B elements lmao.
Yeah the queen
BTS has always had intro and outros in their albums, so they typically release their intro as a teaser for the whole album before the actual release. singularity surprised me and a lot of other people bc it's a full length song. their intros are normally around the 2 min mark bc they are just intros not full songs. Tae really blew me away with this and I can't wait to hear the full album Love Yourself: Tear!!
Ohh.. And their coreographer is Keone Madrid
GlassThatTaeDrinkDuringEllenShow just for this song (and he has done others for them too)...they work with different ones
T Wenger yupp.. I mean this song 😀
yeah and the dancers are Keone's too
Its Kim Taehyung and his stage name V. Its their comeback trailer for their upcoming album on 18th. So its only his solo.. His voice so deep but he can reach high note too.. Check his solo Stigma for his high note.. And please check BTS song too..
GlassThatTaeDrinkDuringEllenShow
Same.
Actually BTS change my life.
I've been hate kpop.
But BTS are totally different
I mean definitely another level.
Just check their other music.
Especially Lyrics.
GlassThatTaeDrinkDuringEllenShow
Okay I just need to say this so don’t attack me.
Hehehe... I'm sorry 😢
Don't apologize :D I get where you're coming from!
the official music videos from BTS' UA-cam channel do not get strikes bc their company encourages reaction videos as a type of self marketing. you really need to be careful with live performances though!
and BTS japanese content
Except War of Hormone for some reason
I not sure, but I think it was because War of Hormone wasn't on bighits channel (for what reason I don't know) and it was on the 1thek channel which gives strikes... but.... Ibighit have recently put War of Hormone back on, so I am hoping that reactors can now react to it, mainly because it is one of my favourites :D:D *fingers crossed*
Hwa- Ting! War of Hormone, it's blocked, it's not allowed.
even the one on Bighit? wow I wonder why?
the leader of the group RM wrote the lyrics and produced the song. it is so beautiful and meaningful.
you can see the lyrics by turning the cc on. the lyrics are inspired by the Greek myth of Narcissus, who fell in love with his own reflection and died because of it.
my bad, RM did not produce the song. RM wrote the lyrics but it was produced by Charlie J. Perry. Sorry for my mistake I should've checked before rushing to write a comment. sorry.
thank you +anne lushg for correcting me :)
"I can never take off this mask
Because, within this mask, I am not the guy that you know" - SUGA (Outro:HER)
Saseko Singularity is very much a continuation of the outro for LY:her which makes sense as it will probably be the intro into their new album.
spendalyn yeah, ik. 👍
Wow thanks for info he just wrote a song only
Please react to BTS Blood sweat and tears
BTS DNA and BTS MIC DROP💜
+ not today, spring day, save me💜
LLL Kim yes 🤗🤗😍😍😍😍😍
Yasssss
comebacks in kpop are very different than in western music. a comeback is basically when an artist or a group gear up for a new release mostly for albums. it means there's an intense period of promotion through interviews, performances etc. since it is kicked up a notch from "normal" promotions for the group it is described as a "comeback" like a comeback into the eye of the general public! :)
Marie Baumbach TEACH THEM THE WAYS LOL
Teach them
This is a bit different than what their usual sound is because it's a solo by V and he is heavily influenced by jazz, neo-soul and R&B.
Check out their live stages on MAMA and you will see what I am talking about 😉
Lastly I can't wait to see your another reaction to BTS 😁
BTS Comeback trailer= BTS intro album
Its tradition for BTS for only one member done the comeback trailer for their album.
Taetae
Hi, I translated that song on my channel, if you want to see it.♥
Marie Baumbach that's not spamming
Thank u ❤
*React to BTS Mic Drop. It shows more of their choreography side and the rap line :)*
Thanks your reaction. React to BTS Mic Drop, pls.
BTS got subtitle in their videos. Turn on CC.
Specific videos to watch that contribute to this storyline are:
- Blood, Sweat, and Tears
-I Need U (19+ version)
-Run
-Boy Meets Evil
-Highlight Reels (not music videos, simply videos like short films that further the storyline)
-Wings short films (1 for each member)
It also helps if your are well-read because they make tons of references to books like Demian, the Bible, The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas, The Magic Shop, and much more.
The dancers:
ade willis
bong buno
kevin nguyen
fabian tucker
actually brian puspos did the choreo for another song from their upcoming album “Love Yourself : Tear”
Thank you for this..🙏 please do more BTS reaction and review.. they are amazing artists.. 😉
thank u for your reation!they will have a billboard stage for their comeback
If you can how about J-hope’s “daydream”
BTS's leader RM wrote this song for Kim Taehyung/V the one singing in this video
Just turn on the subs BTS always has subs!
The flower that is seen in video is "Smeraldo", its meaning is "I can not tell the truth" or "the truth that I can not say".*
BTS is a group that is characterized by leaving messages through their songs and they are very creative and artistic when it comes to making music videos.
Members
Rap lines:
RM (Kim Namjoon),
Suga (Min Yoongi),
J-Hope (Jung Hoseok),
Vocal lines:
Jin (Kim Seokjin),
Jimin (Park Jimin),
V (Kim Taehyung),
Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook).
You guys talked about brian puspos and bts has a lot of covers of his dances. You should check jimin and jungkook "own it"version..
Singularity is not 'just' anything.
BTS is a 7 member group. This song was a solo by V, singer and dancer.
Comeback refers to their dropping of their new album 18 May, and their comeback stage is at the Billboard Music Awards stage.
Trailer refers to a snippet of what the new album might entail.
Tear is the name of the new album
Singularity is the name of this song and music video. The 4 dancing behind V are US backup dancers but each member of BTS are amazing dancers in their own right
RM, Suga, JHope are the rappers and main producers, writers, and composers of the group.
That’s why it’s Tear .... hehe .. singularity I’m waiting for your next reaction there’s so many good stuff out there about BTS and you can’t escape
the one who's singing is called V, one of the members of BTS. this is sound is actually quite different from what BTS as a group usually have, but it really represents V musically and suits him very well :) thank you for the reaction!
you know what's refreshing in this reaction video? they actually listened to his voice. most reaction videos focused on Tae's visual and/or the music video.
Yeah! I was waiting for this reaction !😊😊I am so happy they are realising a new album on may 18 that's why it's "call come back trailer".Please you need to react to the whole group Mic drop remix ft Steve Aoki mv it's lit! And all bts mv have english sub.
"He tricked with a hand, and I love it." That gentleman is called the Kim Taehyung effect. Your welcome.
Was this your first BTS reaction? If it is plz keep reacting to them cuz y'all r one of the few reactors I can actually tolerate, you're not annoying. They have many other more songs an MVs. If you like rap, listen to their Cyphers they're amazing
Brian Puspos works with BTS actually
Tho this choreo is worked on by Keone Madrid who is also another filipino dancer
Thank you for reacting to V (kim tae hyung) singularity..
As theylle be performing on BBMA.this may 20.we appreciate this..
Hope you could do more reactions to BTS.
keone madrid actually choreographed this one! the backup dancers are his pals. brian puspos choreographed another one of their songs (which hasnt been revelaed yet - so it might be their title track which comes out this friday!)
a "comeback" basically means a new musical release in korea. for BTS, every time they do a "comeback" with a new album, they release a "Comeback Trailer" which is the intro track for the new album (which is always sung by only one out of the seven members).
Your reactions were mine when I first saw it 🙂.... I just can't wrap my head around their greatness😭
Please react to BLOOD SWEAR AND TEARS by BTS
I love your opinions and point of views. I like you all have different points and not just agree with each other. Welcome to the army! Had my attention in the beginning knowing your a Hero Academia fan. Commenting on their dance, music, video production and not just the artist themselves. Awesome!
Please also react to BTS’ “STIGMA” (LIVE VERSION), also by “V” (Kim Taehyung), the soloist you appreciated in the “SINGULARITY” mv. You’ll get to experience some of V’s high-note riffs...Thanx!!!
Thank you for your reaction! you should react to the live performance of this song, it's exactly like the video!
Just a small correction - there are 4 in the dance line. 😍
Georgina Kane - Tae has been officially titled ‘Visual’ and ‘Lead Dancer’.
Mr Son said in his tweet that Tae was ‘officially’ dance line, and Lead Dancer is in his profile.
It's best reaction to SINGULARITY!!!
His voice and vibe remind me of Gallant and Daniel Ceasar... 💜
Taehyung has so special voice, it reminds me of old good music.
He is special, you have to check V - Stigma. It's crazy the way he sings!

Yaaaay thanx guys for reacting
« It’s not in a language we understand but it FEELS like a language we understand ». Couldn’t have put it better.
ALSO, BTS official MVs do NOT copyright for reaction videos~ Happy ride~
and, Thanks for checking our boys out ;)
4:49 LITERALLY ME 😂 Bts is amazing you guys have to check them ALL out!

Thank you for reacting to the kings! :)
All of their videos have CC, also their new album and music video are dropping on the 18th of this month. Really soon! We appreciate the respect and nice comments, you guys seem chill.
You should totally react to House of Cards and Rain
Thank you for reacting to BTS! I swear, you will mark this day in your calendars as the day you discovered greatness. You are not prepared for everything you're about to discover about this incredibly talented septet. Prepare to have your lives changed!
Great reaction, react to BTS' House of Cards lyric video (there's no mv) pls, thx
Much love.
please react to bts save me mv. thanks!
Keone Madrid is the choreographer for this one, but Brian Puspos also have worked with them.
bts - not today MV. You need to see the whole group. They dance, rap and sing

P/s...new subscriber here
V has the widest vocal range, he can go reaaaaally low, to really high. That’s why I love his voice and he’s my bias💜
It would be great if you check Stigma by him
dont worry dude *BRIAN PUSPOS IS CHOREOGRAPHING ANOTHER TRACK FROM THE UPCOMING ALBUM LOVE YOURSELF TEAR COMING ON 5/18* and im so sorry for typing this like this but *BTS HAS SUBTITLES ON EVERY OFFICIAL MVS*. I loved your reactions so much. thank u for liking the music, hoping to see you falling for bts more bcs they sure have so many charms if youd like to explore💜
Thank you for the respectful reaction, and appreciating their unique voice + the people who have gone behind making the videos!!
HES MY BIAS AND THANK U FOR UR NICE REACTIONS I LOVE IT
Tell you what, this is just one (1) member of a _seven_ member group.
"I'm a dream about that hand"...
Same👀😍💜🐯💜
You just earned a subscriber cause I’m hoping you’ll do more BTS reacts! And I’ll be checking out your original songs too cause just from hearing you repeat after Tae I can tell you have an amazing voice. Great job guys!
Singularity is a masterpiece
BTS is on another level fr, I had my preconceptions about this but BTS srly changed my mind, you'll love them
"Love Yourself" is the trilogy of albums BTS are in right now (yeah they do trilogies) and the over all theme.
