I’m about to replace those lines entirely with rubber vacuum hoses tomorrow, if I remember I’ll update this comment so others know how it goes but man those are a pain in the ass, I had a bad coupling and pcv hose I had to fix and in the process I snapped that line in a few different spots so I’m replacing all that stupid plastic lol
I really had no symptoms other than a check engine light for the secondary air system. It’s all emission related so you might not experience symptoms, maybe a strong fuel smell or smoke cause I did have that prior to changing the plugs
It runs a bit better, at least I got the check engine light finally off, I think the next thing is to clean the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body. I can’t get it to idle smooth feels like the rpm’s are still jumping
@@jeffosborn60438 I had the same problem it’s was my iac replaced it from eBay around 30 dollars and it fixed that issue, I also cleaned the throttle body! Thanks for sharing I have a few videos on my page
My pops got a 04 DeVille that he just let sit in the garage for 10-11 years. Big ole pretty thing too. This was a very informative video. I feel like I met to new friends with the same Cadillac issue lol. I'll be subscribing to both pages. Thanks fellas.
@@Officer_Naughty-Cuffs Thank You and I appreciate the support. I have more videos coming out on the Caddy, a few more things need to be done. Hope that these help you with your issues

can they be cleaned out
You can try if it’s just soot, but if they are rusted it might not work out, they are pneumatic controlled and can sticking cause of rust also
