    The gold bead head wooly bugger is my fav in the larger rivers. you can fish as a streamer or dead drift

      Edward S several aquatic animals in this video are real. I Imagine that eel is real too, there was no hook it

      That eel looking thing is a leech. They flatten their bodies when they swim. The woolly bugger is designed to mimic them. Many fish species find them irresistible.

      Austin Simpson Buggers are a reasonable approximation of a leech, fry, or small baitfish- rolled into a single fly pattern.. If you think about it, many classic fly patterns work because they vaguely imitate a number of critters by not being an exact representation of any one in particular.. The Adams, Prince nymph, Copper John, Walt’s worm all come to mind

      Fishes brains probably can’t distinguish like ours can and mainly see silhouettes. All those detailed lures catch human eyes fish can’t see much
