This dude is one of the reasons Justified was so special and criminally underrated. He nailed this role to a T.
I don't know the context, but just from this short clip he seems like a poor customer. Walks into store, doesn't buy anything, wastes employee's time with questions, and then kills them.

a great kind man with a good heart on helping others.

I find it much easier to tie a tie than to properly fold a pocket square. Never can get it right despite watching dozens of YT videos. That’s not to say I’ve hacked someone up and had this dilemma.

Neal McDonough is a national treasure. I love the easter egg with him complimenting the Greatest Generation given his character "Buck Compton" in Band of Brothers.

He was also on a short-lived cop show "Boomtown" I believe it's on UA-cam
He was great in that role, as were so many of the supporting actors.
The weekly flow of wildly flawed and entertaining characters was epic. Raylon just played straight man.

I think the tv series Justified is almost as great as Breaking Bad. Maybe even better, in that it’s left room for a return, especially after Justified: Primeval’s ending
For me, it’s the best all around show ever. Primeval was awful and if anything is continued from it, it better be back in Kentucky with Boyd.
There were some terrifying characters in this series. Quarles was one of them.
Neal McDonough is always terrific.
The irony is Quarles will eventualy be killed with a blade, just not by these idiots.
It would be a different kind of show if it went on to be by these guys.

I used to do MMA with some of the toughest guys you'd meet. Even they would drop like a bad habit after getting accidentally tapped in the adam's apple. There's no way this guy got clocked there multiple times and was still standing. Otherwise cool scene.
Msgt Chapman was shot 17: times and was still engaging the enemy
By the looks of him, he clearly uses the product, which very much would make him briefly near invincible to anything but a headshot like his friend got.

Things are different on solid ground in the real world. No mats no breaks fights only last tops 30 seconds. I was a bouncer for years. Seen a guy not realize he got stabbed, adrenaline is real in real situations. I even got booted in the nuts hard and I didn’t feel it at all besides the impact until about 10 mins later when I threw up. Excruciating once the adrenaline fully dumped
You would think that expanding gun rig would become pretty well known!

McDonough is a massively underrated actor. His 'guest psycho' appearance on Yellowstone was fantastic - more restrained than this character but every bit as nasty.

Justified was a Good Time.
Only one of the greatest shows to ever exist! Season 5 is its only misstep. Season 6 came back very strong and it ended beautifully (don’t bother with the “sequel” series they just released).
