- On 22nd January 2024 I did some lunar imaging and the region to the left of Mare Humorum had some stunning shadows and highlights and I knew I had to create a pastel drawing of the area. If you just want to see the quick timelapse, this is the video for you. I filmed the process in real-time on my Fairphone 4, and this video has been sped up to 8x speed and I chopped out the bits where I was talking and not drawing so it may look a bit jumpy in places. I used black paper and Stabilo CarbOthello pastel pencils in white and black, blending was done with blending stumps but you can use cotton buds / Q-tips.
