his coaching philosophy is cool, kinda how i have always coached. You really have to know your players and their game and they have to be smart but it's a good way to do it
Always liked the TonTons because... well, being french canadian I guess I'm attached to France a bit. But hearing Fabrice talking about them wanting to bring in younger players instead of picking up americans make me respect those guys even more.
Watched episode 1 yesterday such perfect timing for this episode after work 😂. Huge fan of this squad. Heard of the the TonTons but never followed much
Ahh I recognize that field! We had practice there before the Mills event years and years ago. Its a brilliant little grind field. Driving rental cars down random dirt roads and the GPS going, "you are le lost"
Good question for the guys. I know some of the current Scalp players have played with TonTon and sometimes a few of the Scalp guys will practice with them, but not sure if they've played eachother much.
@@favaphoto Yep yep. Normally those types of teams will get a yearly bill entry, and paint (with sponsors), so you can budget each event pretty well. They'll take those event costs (3-4 per year) spread them across multiple months, and pay them as dues. Makes perfect sense.
He means that all the players have to pay a monthly fees to the team plus our transport, etc… random players think that playing doesn’t cost us but it cost us 😉 passion has a price
This is great! Thanks George and Planet
Watching Hugo at cup last year was surreal. The kid is an absolute animal. #TONTON

11:10 Have they ever practiced vs Scalp?
Good question for the guys. I know some of the current Scalp players have played with TonTon and sometimes a few of the Scalp guys will practice with them, but not sure if they've played eachother much.
Three players of Scalp played for Tonton back in the days. And yes, it happened that we practice together
14:08 Can someone explain what Axel means by "we all give money to the team to play"?
Like team dues or money to contribute toward the team budget...travel, paint bills, etc.
