I was there in the Tank for this. Bought tickets last minute for wayyyy too much money. When Pacioretty scored the third goal it pretty much felt like the game was over. Pavs went down and I swear the animosity in that building just completely seized control of the game. Once Couture scored 6 seconds into the pp we had 100% of the momentum and it’s like everyone there knew we were winning that game for our captain. Words won’t ever do it justice. Being there for that was one of the greatest moments of my life. If I could do it again, I’d pay triple what I paid for those tickets.
I don't think I was ever fired up more from a pen than when Pav went down. I think every shark rallied around that moment to beat Vegas after them playing dirty all series.
Best moment in Sharks history, hands down. I put this #1 against anything in franchise history. To go from the lowest of lows, watching this game, down 3-0 against a bitter rival, things looking like they're gonna end in another heartbreaking playoff elimination again, Pavs going down like that and me saying to myself "Fuck, can this shit get any worse?", me almost turning the game off but then deciding to at least see what happens on the powerplay first, then less than 5 minutes later to have this feeling of pure joy and elation as to what in the literal fuck just happened, and then to actually win it??? It doesn't get any better than that until we win a cup man, it's as simple as that. Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!
My most incredible time at The Tank by far. Left that place with 17,000 friends. The celebrating went on for hours in SJ. I was staying in a hotel downtown & you could hear it. Was AWESOME!!
Before this game, my brother asked me last minute "Do you want to go to the Sharks game vs Vegas Game 7" I was with my friends at the time and thought "Huh, Game 7 vs Vegas... uhhh why not" Apparently my brother asked his friends and they turned it down, so that's why it was very last minute. We literally got there at the end of warm ups. Couldn't look at the store first like we usually do. Got to our seats and met this guy on my right that said he flew from Sweden. Little did I know he was featured in a Sharks video and my right eye got a cameo in the shot. I saw it and thought that was so cool. (Glad he experience a legendary game from flying from so far) When they showed it on the big screen against Avs Game 2 I was like "Im featured there!" Back to the game. I'll give my thought process after the second period. I was thinking "This is still doable, 2 goals in one period isn't so bad, though, if they score a third during the 3rd period, we're gonna need a miracle" They scored in the 16 minute mark and I was thinking "Okay... the only way for us to win now is a miracle" Then Pavs went down... My thought process was "Whoa, whos that, they're not moving? Oh damn, they're bleeding" People start throwing things and I was thinking "I never thought I'd see people throw things like in the late 90s and 2000's" I then thought... "He's bleeding and not moving... if this is 5 minutes... this is our chance, our miracle" Couture scored fast " I then thought, okay, maybe they felt bad, and let a goal in" Hertl scored the craziest and farthest tip in the same minute I then think "Okay, 2 let's go, we have 4 minutes left" The PP was still going and we didn't score in a bit. All I thought was "we need to keep this momentum and scream for your team" Literally lost my voice the next day. All I heard was "LET'S GO SHARKS" "C'MON SHARKS" "LET'S GO" It never stopped. Fans kept chanting... not any normal chants, they chanted hard. Then Couture scored the third goal and I swear, I jumped so high I could've been the next air jordan. I literally thought "YEAHHHHHHH!... Wait where is the ground???" Once I touched the ground, I was like "Oh there it is" High fives everywhere, people jumping, and screaming. I had so much room I was able to make a standing starfish and scream "YEAH!" and "LET'S GO" at the top of my lungs... I still couldn't hear myself. Then Labanc makes an INSANE Play... the roof came off of the building, people were hugging people they didn't know, high fives, then Sweden guy grabbed my collar shirt screaming at my face... as I was screaming back. I remember thinking " There is no way we did that in that time frame" Then Vegas scored... Oh during that intermission... in that 15 minute intermission, I felt like a 40 kilos of weight on my shoulders just thinking "We gotta win this... we need to complete this comeback" A whole period goes by with that weight on my back for some reason, and Barclay Hockey scored with that incredible cut pass from Erik Karlsson... As the weight released from my back, I started to tear up. I didn't believe in tears of joy until that moment. People were hugging and screaming. My brother reminded me to take a video... and dear god... Im glad I did. Aftermath of the game... on the way to their cars... People were just screaming and high fiving each other. People taking videos. I got a couple of videos and pictures for until the day I die. We finally made it to the store and I wanted something I can use and not throw away. I got a souvenir Thermoflask. I still have the tickets and I still have the light up watches they gave us in the cup holders that day... the exact one... I keep it separate from the other ones. My brothers and I are still undefeated going to game 7s at Sharks game! 2016 Nashville, 2019 Vegas, 2019 Avs. LET'S GO SHARKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knights fans STILL hate the Sharks, even after they won the cup years later.
Ah yes... good ol memeries, I remember me and my dad watching this at home and were quiet until the power play goals.. we were loud and hyped that we woke up my mom at the overtime goal lol
I was in California Adventure Park when this happened and it was two days before my 28th birthday. Checking the score after the fireworks show, and I went like, WTF?!?!" My mind was blown. Sucks the Saint Louis Blues knocked the bang-up Sharks out of the Finals and that was our best shot to win it all. I remember at my home in Sweden when this happend, when its whas overtime I whas 20 cm close to the tv and my legs barely standing and when san jose score, I just fall down to the ground and screamed, later I was 30 min late to work but I didnt care
I live in Chicago so this game was kinda late for me, Vegas scored their third and I went up to bed cuz I didn’t want to see the Sharks get blown out. I woke up the next morning and I checked my phone and turns out I went to bed for nothing.
I went to bed with 12 minutes left in the third period. In my bed, I had so much focus. My entire mindset: *we will win* The next morning I woke up and my mom was like "wAtCH tHe ReST oF iT" and im like: *lets fudging go*
@@andrewashark1651 Despite how last year went, something tells me this upcoming season is going to be a good one for us. With the lack of practice it's almost like a full reset.
@@TidusMino I think San Jose are done for years. The best prospect in the organization is Ryan Merkley, which isn't saying all that much. They have those 3 awful contracts with Karlsson, Burns and Vlasic (in order from least awful to most awful). A ton of younger guys did not progress this year (Meier, Labanc, Gambrell). Lost so many high picks in recent years. Have two of the worst goalies in the league, and have one of them signed for long-term. If Doug Wilson can figure this out and the Sharks win the Cup, he'll be the greatest GM of all time in my opinion. For the time being, I think they're screwed.
@@de132 Who can say? The one thing I do know is that this year was definitely a cleanup year. Before the season cancelled, we started showing signs of life. Dilly's definitely a rental to Washington, good chance he's back, and DW absolutely FLEECED Tampa for that first round pick trade for Goodie. Noesen has brought some new fire, Jonesy was getting better every game and Deller proved he could hold his own for a good chunk. I wouldn't say the future is bright just yet, but I also don't think we're completely fucked.
I committed the biggest sin. Right before the faceoff I turned it off, as 30 seasons of sharks letting me down in the playoffs. Of course being a sharks fan 2 mins later I checked the score and it said 3-2 and I said wtf and as I'm looking at the score it updated to 3-3. And I never missed another second of sharks hockey again
Came here to watch this for one reason. The damned Knights made the Finals again. If only the Panthers could've signed Jumbo for 1 more year. Go Panthers. F the Knights.

some people might not believe me but i'm pretty sure related to Logan couture and he got 2 goals #proud
I went to bed with 12 minutes left in the third period. In my bed, I had so much focus. My entire mindset: *we will win*
The next morning I woke up and my mom was like "wAtCH tHe ReST oF iT" and im like: *lets fudging go*
Making history
😍😍😍💙💙💙
Logan couture your the MVP your the MVP
i would be complete speechless is i was randy
Logan Couture's second goal went off Hertl's knee. Change my mind.
They should of had the cup that year but oh well
@Andrew Ashark don’t worry, will get it!
Your right
@@andrewashark1651 Despite how last year went, something tells me this upcoming season is going to be a good one for us.
And I never missed another second of sharks hockey again
the sharks smelled blood
People overreacted but maybe the Golden Knights shouldn’t have blown a 3-1 lead in the series.
What a fkg night🙌🏻💕
number 1 in the top 10 greatest comebacks in nhl history
as a vegas fan i dont know what happened in the third.
A bull shit major
How aboat the banker man eh?
Came here to watch this for one reason. The damned Knights made the Finals again. If only the Panthers could've signed Jumbo for 1 more year. Go Panthers. F the Knights.
5:53 8:14
These don't capture the roar of the crowd as well as the NHL's version does.
Who agrees that fishy on me should be there goal horn
this can not happen in san jose sharks history
First
Gio 11 no body gives a fuck
Just kidding gio11😂😂
What’s the point of that
Gio 11 dude I’m so proud of you congrats!
Thanks?
Simply the worst call in NHL history.
When Labanc scored that goal I screamed so loud my neighbor called and than when goodrow scored I lost my voice
