Adam Saleh He did about the same thing, the only tricky part is the city popping up animation, but he either animated that himself or found it online
Element 3D
@@KeleDiabateRoadToTokyo nothing he does in this tutorial is that 3D. This can only be done in Element 3D due to the 3D limitations of After Effects (probably with the camera tracker)

In after effects, probably with track camera. The hands are roto'd out and the animation popping could be an asset as Kele said.

You don't realize how much I needed this tutorial! I went train backpacking this summer and forgot to film most of the parts on the train, so to clarify my traveling route this is perfect!!

0:20 This is the first time I saw this kind of describe the tutorial process on youtube, because I always want other editors on youtube do that so everybody watch the video can imagine immediately steps need to do, that 3D explain process I usually seen in movies and always want people describe things like that, awesome !

The tutorial is great and the *"mouse click"* sound effect is even better.
I find it annoying, it would be fine if it was a lighter click sound. It's almost louder then his voice.
