Well researched. A lot of these models are new to me. Thank you very much.

I know you said this was your opinion, but you're not even close. At least half of those you mentioned don't even compare in sound, function, and features to the following synths (in no particular order): OB-X8, Fantom, Prophet-5/10 rev4, 3rd Wave, Jupiter-X, Super Genesis, Trigon-6, System-8, and Moog One.
Hi there! 😊 Thank you for sharing your thoughts and providing a list of your favorite synthesizers. I appreciate your passion for the subject! My list was based on my personal experiences and preferences, but I understand that everyone has different tastes and priorities when it comes to sound, function, and features. Your suggestions are fantastic, and I'll definitely consider them for future videos. Thanks again for your input! 🎹✨
Curious how the Kronos 2 made the list since it has not been available for 2 years.
You're right, the Kronos 2 has not been available since Feb 2022, but I included it in this list because of its groundbreaking features and the impact it had on the market. The Korg Nautilus (although a brilliant keyboard) would’ve been the other option, but it’s not a successor to the Kronos; it’s a cut down version for a significantly lower price. Do you have any recommendations for current alternatives to the Kronos 2? We'd love to hear your thoughts!
@@KeyscapeChronicles Roland Fantom 8 or Kurzweil K2700. And the poster is right--a keyboard that has been off of the market for two years can't be "a top synth of 2024". You might as well add the Jupiiter 8 or CS-80.
"This UA-cam video is thoroughly researched, providing in-depth information on the topic."
It's a solid list for every type of player....synths, stagers and more.
The novation peak is no keyboard synthesizer and therefore does not belong here.
The Novation Summit is 2 Peaks with a keyboard. Peak is an awesome synth, I'd include it.
From a gigging perspective, keyboard synths are dead. All of these keyboards are just the same ol' crap, different day. Nothing innovative. The future is laptops with controllers. You can do so much for less cost. Use a VST player like Gig Performer, along with the VST's you like and controller keyboard or existing synth, and you're in business. If I were considering investing in a synth today, I would thoroughly research the VST option before pulling the trigger.
😂 most of vst players didn’t count their $3k laptop as total cost.
@@mdmusiz It's 2024, who doesn't already own a laptop? Most people have a couple spare computers laying around. And, if you don't own a computer, why are you spending money on a hardware synthesizer?
