- I have made my Vader Chest box by 3d Printing. Main body is printed in PLA and the smaller parts in resin. In this video, we will walk through how to make your own Darth Vader chest box. We will look at 3d Printing, paints and electronics.

Always a pleasure when the Vicar show up on my screen, fist bumps from Canada 😁😁
Oh mate, thanks. You're too kind!
0:59 welp you lost me 😂
RIP to all the others who can’t get a 3D printer 😅
A good video might be to show how you store and travel with your cape set? How do you stop it from being a creased mess when you get to a troop?
Thank you so much for this video. I am working on an ESB Vader costume and used your files for the 3D prints. They look superb. The aluminum parts will come from Fenixprops, the lights came from Bulgaria - work ist still in progress. It won't be screen accurate, since 3 of the 4 buttons will have a brushed steel surface.
Best regards from Austria
Gerhart
Oh that sounds awesome. Love to see images when done!!!
I found Fenix Props on eBay, but because of you, I found out that some things are cheaper on their online store, which is very helpful in making my dream of owning a screen accurate TESB Darth Vader suit come true, by potentially having to spend ~$126 less on all the items needed, not including extra modifications to parts I already own/rivets and screws. This has been a dream of mine for years, and now thanks to this video, I may be able to complete it sooner. Depends if my ADHD will still be in a more SW phase by the time I have enough to fully afford everything needed.
Great video, great content as always. Nice chest box. I 3d modelled my own anh and printed it, I'm just in the filler stage before prime and paint. Officially there are no lights on anh chestbox, but I'm going to install some anyway, I don't have to have them on all the time.
Ahh. Love to see that when done.
Always love how you show AND share everything....totally appreciate it! I tried clicking on the dropbox link to your files and it says "we cant find the page you're looking for" so if you could update or reshare, that would be great!! Thanks and keep up the great work!
oh, sorry about that. Does it work now?
@@Cosplayvicar Absolutely and thanks again SO much!! Can't wait to print these out!
Thanks to you I was able to print my own and slowly but surely making my way through and acquiring all the bits and pieces. One note, just because I can tell you're a stickler for detail: the bottom lip of the coin slots is actually meant to be black, not silver. No one who isn't making a chestbox would notice, but thought you might want to know for your next go 'round.
I did not know that!!!! Thank you.
Can you do a video close up of your vader helmet. Haven't seen any video on bookfaces stuff really in depth
Hey Vicar, any chance you could upload some photos of How the chestbox harness exactly looks like? I will get the box printed this week from your files and I want to start working on it. Cheers!
It looks like there are clear inserts in the coin slots what did those come from?
It’s just red acrylic.
@@Cosplayvicar did you cut them yourself?
@@Darktoast20 I did.I eyeballed it.
Buenas Vicario, ante todo me gustan mucho tus videos y lo explicas todo muy bien...estoy haciendo una caja pero en metacrilato y quisiera saber donde conseguir los componentes como botones y ranuras de monedas muchas gracias y un saludo desde España
Hello, would you like to sell this finished box?
