I just bought a bunch of elgato stuff!!! Love it!! Except for the fact that they don’t sell separate ball mounts!! I sat here searching the internet and couldn’t find the items needed..googled the ball head measurements and somehow your vid popped up!!💯💯🔥🔥👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼You’ve just saved my sanity sir🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 and gained a new subscriber !!
Like the individual pieces? Everyone's setup is going to be different, but I used the 7" elbow and tablet mount from this Tackform kit: amzn.to/2EFCarU + this desk/pole clamp: amzn.to/305XXzl But you may need additional pieces linked in the description depending on how long you need the arm to extend or where you're mounting it.
@@RockhartStudios the kit link is super appreciated! But an in-depth video showing off your desk setup would be even better! Would love to watch it and share it among some friends who would like that sort of content!
@Rockhart - awesome video, appreciate the detail and research it’s clear you put into making this (now subscribed!). For the Elgato Master mount, is there any way to mount the pole via grommet (ideally, btw 1.5-2.0”)? I’ve unscrewed the pole from the clamp and I see 3 threads (1 primary, 2 smaller secondaries), but it looks like it’d be super custom to recreate this. Any help or advice is much appreciated.
Hi Adam, thank you for the kind words! I’m happy to help but I’m a bit unsure what you mean by a grommet? What are you trying to mount the the pole to that makes the clamp not a viable option?
@@RockhartStudios [EDIT] My table/workstation has a 1.5” lip or edge that buts into 2x4’s underneath the table’s support, so there’s not enough clearance for the Elgato C-clamp. I do have a perfectly cut 2” grommet hole with about 3” of clearance underneath, but Elgato’s C-Clamp is 3 inches. My question is how would you afix the Master Mount to a grommet hole? The challenge I’m running into is finding a mount/clamp the same 3-screw configuration the Master Mount has. Hope this is clearer...the only thing I can think of is using the weighted base and just run the pull up thru the table, but that’s kinda ghetto so hoping you might have an idea :)
@@adamm6733 That is an interesting challenge for sure... and it would be really tough to find an exact match like you mentioned. I think your best bet would to buy two pieces of metal or sturdy plastic (one for the top of the desk one for the bottom) and drill out the holes yourself + get longer screws (and some washers)? Sorry I don't have an easier solution!
Im trying to get 2 mounts for light kits so I can kick the tripods to the curb and also the 2 rhode mic arms to mount as well. Oh and The StreamDeck middle size (Original One) and My Go Pro. I am having a hard time figuring out what to get I am assuming I will need 3 multi mounts and then the addons Any help would be so appreciated. Thanks
Hi Joseph, So if I'm understanding you right, you're looking for help on mounting your gopro, medium stream deck, and 2 lights? Depending on your setup, yes you would need 2-3 MultiMount poles + the following pieces *could* be useful. Again it would depend on your setup and available space. For the Stream Deck: This phone clamp + a little bit of double-sided tape should work great - amzn.to/371ls0j For mounting the GoPro and Stream Deck to the Multimounts: Pole Mount - amzn.to/2WeSuFk Desk/Pole Clamp - amzn.to/305XXzl The Solid Arm: amzn.to/3kZfhzv Hope this helps!
@@RockhartStudios The only other thing i would still need is brackets to put the swivel end (im forgetting the real name). For my Rode microphone boom arm. Im trying to have both stretch out to be over head and out of the way.
@@josephtewksbury6546 You could try 1-2 of these brackets mounted vertically on the MultiMount? amzn.to/35LVpLb You'd have to measure to make sure the opening would work for the end of the boom arm though.
thank you so much for this :) I was looking for something like it :)
Thank you!!!!! I was going crazy figuring out where to get the pieces to finish my setup.

Subbed. Production Quality is great. Beautiful office/gaming space. Hope to see this channel grow.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you can see all the work I've been putting into everything!
Your Game room is awesome. My wife and I are currently saving for out home. I hope to have something awesome myself one day
Great video man! Love the setup!
Thank you!
I saw your setup on Alpha gaming. How did you end up getting the goXLR to mount?

Great Setup: im pretty sure i saw your setup on JayzTwoCents
Thank you! Hmmm I never submitted pics to Jay (still working on the whole room), maybe you're thinking of Harris / Alpha Gaming?
i would LOVE a video showing how you mounted the bottom monitor, streamdeck and GoXLR together...
Hey Wade, I just used the pieces listed in this video + Tackform's tablet mount. Everything is linked in the video description!
Alternatively, I also have everything I use listed here: kit.co/rockhart/desk-mounting-hardware

What's a good simple way to make it horizontal & super sturdy?

How come this has only 429 views? THIS IS AWESOME!

Thank you! Maybe someday :)

So to confirm, I can replace the ball head of the multi mount L with this ball head from Tackform ?
Yup! Everything in Tackform's 20mm series is compatible with the Elgato Multi Mount.

I’ve seen that same kind of setup for monitor arms but they’re usually a fair bit larger.
