To me it makes perfect sense- The lyrics saying "avert your eyes, turn away, what you despise has a face" at the beggining, was what made me actually stop and think that maybe this was a bit more deep than just a very good beat and funky visuals So here's what i concluded, basically- The chorus encourages someone to do whatever they want, and that they were not being judged- "misery loves company, baby" would insinuate the character is having the same experience as them "Can't use a knif3 or r4zor to cut it out, this is the type of sin they pray about" is the one that makes me believe in this theory the most, since being lgbtq is not something we get to choose to turn on and off, it comes with us since birth, but the church insists it is a choice/a sin..
