    Wow. When he said he was in Tangerine Dream, I was like, what? He looks the same age as me, but I was in school when Tangerine Dream were active. Dude looks amazing. Must be a side-effect of living and working in LA :)

      He was born in 1962 and played with them from 1985 - 1990. They had close to 20 members over the years.

    I heard this guy composed an entire score for THE WOLFMAN (2010) that the studio completely ditched after they had already ditched Danny Elfman. (Then they went right back to Elfman!!) I wish more of Haslinger's soundtrack could be posted on UA-cam so at least *SOMEONE* would get to hear it.

    I've been a huge fan of PH's music for over 30 years. I find it interesting as music with TD was amazing until Christoph left then it was a bit cheesy and naff, however as soon as he went solo he's knocked it out of the park every time. I'll always seek out a film or TV show if I've found that he scored it. An endorsement by PH is enough for me to go n buy it. :) Still hoping he teams up again one day with Christoph (he's just made a new record with Peter Baumann (also from TD), so maybe one day).

    Tangerine Dream...wow. I remember that. I used to listen to them when I needed to phase out of reality. I can see this tool being a super toy for this guy.

    I guess he's using the Arturia - KeyLab 61 MKII because you pay less❗️get a solid metal frame with more cool stuff on your keyboard compared to KOMPLETE KONTROL S61.

      Yes I have I7 2,8 GhZ 8 core with 32Go of RAM. And some presets give my CPU Overload with click!!! WTF??

    • @EvilDragon666
      @EvilDragon666 5 років тому

      Straylight likes 4+ GHz CPUs. They're pretty standard these days.

    • @frankelting

      You can manage CPU usage on the grain page, where you can limit the number of voices. For many presets 2 or 3 notes spread across multiple octaves provide best results. In general, Kontakt performs best at buffer sizes of 256/512 samples.
