I hate to be that guy, but BC2's campaign was actually kinda crap. Still the best Battlefield game, but, the campaign really felt tacked on, at least compared to BC1 and BF3 which were masterpieces in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love Sarge, Haggard, Sweets and Preston, way more than most other videogame characters... but, the actual missions were underwhelming the first time through, and downright tedious on my second run. I would personally rank it third, behind BC1 and BF3, but ahead of the rest, because at least it had fun characters.
This is one of those songs where you take your time with the level (or rank up screen) just because you don't want the song itself to end. It's brilliant, so many good instruments.
I played the violin for about 6 years The plucking they do at 2:17ish in this song is not easy. The bow usage is also amazing A great song. Hard to play/pluck.

Battlefield had a feeling of dispare and grittyness that most games never had, also the way the missions were set for the players was genius I have never played a action game and not feel like it was just another one of those "fps" games this game had it's own sense of feel and really had a plot, I remember playing on cold war map and hearing the song snowy mountains and fortunate son also I would love the times when I got the tank and just spent hours blowing and wrecking all of the buildings lol, that and sniping was awesome, also always ate a bag of barcel habenero chips when I would play day and night.
One of the best pieces from the soundtrack! Back when I was 16, I bought a copy of the BFBC2 soundtrack a few months after the game came out. One day I changed my phone's alarm clock to _Snowy Mountains_ and boy was that a mistake! My brother and I woke up in such a horrible, stressful and frightful way while being disorientated with sleep and I never used it as an alarm clock song again 😅.

Considering the Bad Company series used a different theme than the classic BF theme, I gotta say this was a fitting theme for BC2.

I love the trumpet part at 0:27 it reminds me of haggard and sweetwater having a row in the middle of a firefight or something like that.
